Imam WD Mohammed:

Someone been knowing me as long as I've been knowing myself, and a few others that have known me for a long time, about two or three of 'em sitting there with me at that table. And they flattering me and complimenting me and saying nice things about me and they were saying, "We have to lift this man up. People have to know him. We have to tell the people about him, how humble he is." So I said, this is, I'm cutting this short. More went into the conversation is what I'm saying, but that'll take up too much time if I tell you everything we said that went on between us. I said, I'm comfortable with my nature. This is my nature. Always has been my nature as far as I can remember, this is my nature.
I live the way my heart, soul, and mind wants me to live. I'm comfortable with the way I live. I'm not comfortable sometimes putting on a stiff white shirt collar and tie and tightening it up on my neck. I think I have a genetic memory, and somewhere way back there they had me swinging. So I don't like to push that tie, push that knot too tight up under my neck. I never did like it. My mother used to tell me, she said, "Son, you're going out?" I said, yes ma'am. She said, "This is Sunday. You got to be like your daddy. You've got to remember that shirt, that business suit and that tie." I said, yes ma'am. And as soon as I got outside away from the house, that tie came off and I opened the collar so my neck would be free.
I really believe, not me, but life germs that made this body, they came from others before me. I believe there's a genetic memory in this body and it is reaching me subconsciously and I'm thinking that that's a noose or something. I don't like it. I know it looks good, but I'm not comfortable with it. Yeah. So I'm coming close and closer to our interest here now. Let me go back to scripture again. We read of water and blood in scripture. The Qur'an came to Muhammad and it begins a narration similar to Genesis in a way, telling us how we got started on this planet, how life, human life started on this planet. So it mentions water and blood. Water and blood.
Also, it tells us we are made from clay. Clay and dust of the earth, tells us all that. But in our step by step or stage by stage development, it tells us we were formed of a thick fluid, watery fluid and then blood adhering, blood holding together, sticking together, and then blood adhering and then flesh. Flesh. No, not flesh. Pardon me. Then that fetus lump, fetus lump. And it goes on to tell how then flesh level bones came into the flesh and the bone structured the flesh. And then He covered it all with skin, skin, sensitive skin. And it says, now that's a complete person. That's a complete person. And says, then there will be another creation. That your physical creation is one creation, but you have to have another creation.
The language doesn't go like English, it goes like Spanish, it goes like Italian. These languages have the description coming after the thing you're talking about, not before the thing you're talking about. So anyway, when you're complete in the physical body, there is another creation. Now let me tell you something else. In the Qur'an, just like there's a heaven of the spirit after the body is put into a coffin, paid for with your US dollars. I want you to know where I'm coming from because some of you all, you get so carried off your feet and up in the air when I start talking, I lose contact with you. You be sailing up there when I'm down here and I'm wondering, where'd they go? Where did they go?
So stay home with me please. Yeah, yeah. So just like there's another two heavens, one the heaven for our spirit, our souls after the body is dead and the funeral and the burial the casket lowered and gone, there is also the heaven of leadership, of the people's leadership. And don't they live in heaven compared to the way we live. Isn't that a heaven? That's an elevation. Heaven only means elevation. Well, they're much more elevated than we are in goods, in wealth, in freedom, in education, in comforts, et cetera. In health. They're much more elevated than we are. So their condition is so much better for them it's like a heaven above the condition of the poor. So there are two heavens, right, those two heavens. Now, as there are two heavens like that in our step-by-step development as a physical physiology, biological being. Physiological, biological chemistry, meat, flesh, everything. As this person in physical form has a birth from seemingly nothing, from seemingly nothing. Before the water forms the thick fluid, the thick, watery fluid. Some translate it thick opaque fluid. Means milky looking fluid. Before that forms where were we? Now we know we in that. We in that. And that's going to mix with Mama, and Mama going to give the other that we need from her and we are going to become a whole person inside Mama. We are going grow inside her to be delivered after nine months.
But where were we before that thick fluid? We don't know. That's a mystery. That's a mystery, right? That is a mystery. All we can say we were in our father and mother, all we can say we were in our father and mother. That's all we could say. And we formed. The two got together, formed in our mothers and they delivered us a whole person, and the mother delivers us a whole person after nine months, which is, that's the normal length of time. Okay? Well, G-d wants us to know that that's not the only way we supposed to see or we should see in religion, our birth, the beginning, the development, the delivery of the full product or the full thing and another life promise. Now, how do we know this from Qur'an, from the word of G-d. G-d says, look at a city with the roofs of the houses caving in. A city neglected, a city gone down. G-d says that is a parable of your own life. And then that city gets renewed, a renewal, rehab, whatever you want to call it. It's rebuilt and made new and beautiful again. G-d says that's a parable of your resurrection. It's a parable of your resurrection. Now, G-d is telling us without exposing us to a lot of danger and without inviting the wrath of those that have those things. Because if they know G-d is calling you to get your share, and your share, they got it until you get it. Yes, until you get your share, somebody else got it.
They might be neglecting it too or they might be making great benefit, getting great benefit from it, whether they are neglecting it, letting it sit and collect dust or go to the dogs or not. If you don't have it, somebody else got it until you get it yourself. So if G-d says I invite you to come to Me and come to your good mind and good spirit, return to the innocent human being that you were when I gave your mother you from her womb. And I want you to grow up and become educated and get your share of this land where your mother lives.
The preacher going to jail, the preacher is going to jail, he going to be locked up. He might just be shot and nowadays he'd be found with a big syringe needle in his arm and nobody knew he took drugs, but he'll be found with a big syringe in his arm. Say he was shooting drugs. Nobody knew it, but he was shooting drugs. They'll find a way to get rid of you buddy. So G-d is merciful. G-d eases us into our power and clouds it. That's why it said He come in the clouds. That's intentional. G-d makes clouds too, clouds it so they can't see what's coming. The clouds open up and it lands too soon for them to do anything about it.
That's what has happened. Yes, yes. That's what happened in the time of Muhammad the Prophet. Yes, the clouds were thick and when the clouds opened up it was too late. The big ship was already landed on the earth. It had a force of too many for them to deal with. Praise be to G-d. Allahu Akbar, G-d is greater. Yes, wonderful, wonderful. And people look at me and they say, those who know the secrets, those who know the language of those up in the heavens, they say, this guy down here, son of Elijah Muhammad, he's talking the language of heaven down here to these poor people. They don't know what he's talking about, but he's dangerous because he may give it to some that have a mind to understand what he's saying. And he will start gathering some powerful minds to himself. We got to watch this guy, he's terrible. Allah also has willed long time ago that certain things were going to happen on this earth. And when those things happen then the sky will open up and the light will be everywhere down here and up there. The light is supposed to fill the whole world. Let me tell you what I know. The time is now. The time is now. I don't fear anything. I speak to you. They hear me. If they're wise enough to hear me, they wise enough to know that the time is now.
So I don't fear. I'm saying that to you shaky searchers of truth. You search for truth all the time. You search for truth so much, you forgot what the truth is supposed to do when you find it. Your mind has become totally occupied with nothing but searching for the truth. Well, people going to search for the truth the same way a farmer going to search for a plow. He need to get him a plow because he know the land needs to be dug up and whatever that stick was he was using that just won't do the job right. So the truth for him is the plow. He need the truth. The land need a plow. That's the truth. So he's going searching for the truth. Now, if he keep just going, I'm searching for the truth, I'm searching for the truth. If he does that for year in and a year out, become obsessed.
"I'm searching for the truth." He forgot that the truth is the plow and the land is waiting on that plow so the people can eat from the harvest and he's out just searching for the truth. Well, that's the way a lot of you students of esoterics. Esoteric are the secret languages. You students are just searching for truth. And you get it and it's just like a guy that loves to do the buck dance and he'll cut away anywhere. He'll stop plowing and start doing the buck dance on a big enough stone. If he found a big enough stone, he'd jump up there and start doing the buck. He got the spirit. He just started doing the buck dance. If he's walking down 63rd street and Cottage Grove, the spirit hit him, he'll stop right in the middle of traffic, right in the middle of the shopping traffic and he'll start doing that buck dance. And when he gets his groove, he get his groove and he finish and then he walk all the way. He feels good.
That's how a lot of you all are. You into that language and you just oh, you in your groove. And you searching for that truth and you find it and just keep searching. You find the nigga truth and you just keep going. You end up with the European truth. And what you need was the nigga truth man. We have problems here. You just keep going. You are on a truth mission and you can't stop. You forgot what the truth is for you. Well, let's come back home and know what the truth is for us. Elijah Muhammad's son knows what the truth is for us.
All right, so there'll be a resurrection of also your life in community. Now tell me this. If that reasoning, if that line of reasoning sets well with you, you feel comfortable with that, sounds reasonable, so let's carry it on to another stop. Islam invites us not to a religion separate from our neighbors, separate from our leaders, separate from our community interests, from our homes or our schools. It includes everything. It's an inclusive community blueprint, an inclusive community blueprint. That's what it is. It includes everything in community. And in the Qur'an, the words of G-d is this. They will say, they will marvel at it and say, "What kind of revelation is this that leaves out nothing big or small?" Big or small, leaves out nothing big or small. What it means? Leaves out nothing in the context of nation building, leaves out nothing in the context of the context of community building. Leaves out nothing big or small.
No, that's how come Islam attracted warriors, a great general who gave Muslims hell in battle in the time of our Prophet, Peace be on him. His name was called Khalid Ibn Walid. He was not a Muslim. He was such a fierce warrior and such a skilled warrior, the Muslims had great difficulty fighting when he was against them. G-d blessed them with his conversion. He converted to Islam and the Muslims eventually were victorious. They going to be so without Khalid, but it was in G-d's plan that they be so with Khalid. So Khalid, the great warrior general became a Muslim and the Muslims were successful within a few years. They were successful, they defeated their enemies, yes. So it leaves out nothing big or small. And G-d says, "You are" speaking to us. That's to you, brother, whatever your name is. And to me, WD Mohammed. He's speaking directly to us personally. That's what you have to understand. Many of you Imams, you hear the Christian say that I have a personal savior and that means something.
