Public Address

By Imam W. Deen Mohammed

We witness that Muhammad to whom the Holy Book Qur'an was revealed, is the Servant and Messenger of that G-d and a Mercy to all the Worlds as G-d says in our Holy Book, He's a Mercy to all the Worlds. Sa ala Alahi Wa Salaam (The prayers and the Peace be upon him) Amma ba. And what follows of that salute, that indigenous salutation. The Believers, all, we might have some here today who are Christian, Believers all, I want to ask G-d to assist me in presenting to you what I want to present to you.
And I ask G-d to assist you so that you will receive what I'm hoping to present to you in good spirit without difficulty or without any discomfort to you. Sometime the greatest gift that the person the giver, and I'm not really giving you a gift or offering a gift, but I'm making a comparison. Sometimes the greatest gift that the giver can give is his own mind and heart. Once he takes it and he gives it to the person that it's for, and they're not excited about it. They're not excited as he was. So, he's disappointed.
He thought he would go really surprise them and excite them and they were going to be so happy when you give that. Then he's disappointed. That happens. That happens. And it happens when we are sharing information. Information from the Lord of the Worlds, from G-d. Information that will bring, we hope, and we expect, will bring happiness and cheer to your hearts and soul. But that's not the way it happens all the time.
So, I ask G-d always to make the outcome what will please Him. The outcome for me, an outcome for the listeners. We're living in a great time and also a bad time and I can't help but recall the expressions in the Bible. Great and awful day, a great and awful day. It's a great day but on the other hand it's an awful day. A great day and an awful day. A great time and an awful time. This is a great day and a great time for me because I'm looking at Christians of the world, Christians of the world, Jews of the world, Muslims of the world, Buddhist of the world, Hindus of the world, Jains of the world, and many others. Meeting each other now for World Conferences.
Like the ones I recently attended. I attended a World Conference for peace, religious tolerance, resolving conflicts so that people can live better together, so that justice will be more and more real for people. I attended such a conference in Israel. I attended such a conference in Jordan, Amman Jordan. Israel is a Jewish state. Amman, Jordan is a Muslim state. The Royal Kingdom. And I attended conferences here recently in Rome, The Vatican, a Catholic state.
And through a representative of ours, I've attended a conference in South Africa very recently, Cape Town of the same nature, same kind of conference. Our convener Bashur, our consultative body of Imam Plemon T. El-Amin, Tauheed El-Amin he's here now. He's sitting right here. He just returned from Cape Town. Participating in the World Parliament of Religions conference. Perhaps the biggest that have occurred this year and maybe in recent years. I think there were over 4,000 participants.
Four to 6,000 maybe closer to 6,000 participants. Imam Plemon, will you stand just for those who don't perhaps haven't seen you. This is Imam Plemon, Convener of the National Shura Consultive Body of Imams for our community and also the Imam of a big Masjid, big Mosque, big place of worship in Atlanta, Georgia. And perhaps, no perhaps to it, he's the director for the most impressive schools we have. Preschool, Elementary school and High School and I'm sure they will be moving up to a Junior College very soon. Yeah. And very, very vastly growing community, business community that is.
They're building houses and extending the nucleus that they have. Schools, Mosques, businesses, little business like a plaza and they're building all around it. Beautiful big gym going up. I was there, might be almost completed now. Big gym going up with additional classrooms. Will be in a new facility. And big real estate business they're in. With big, big plans, big, big plans. 100 houses going up. I don't think it's no more than about a half a block from the Masjid.
100 houses going up about half a block from the Masjid and with another big development project, not far from that one. Big things are happening in Atlanta. Yes, we are very proud of him and we are very proud of his assistance that he gives to me and my ministry. He represented me in Syria just before going to Cape Town, although he's also representing the community in Syria. He went there to meet our students. About 23 of them, isn't it?
Imam Plemon:
12 there now. 12.
IWDM:
12 students. But I think about 20 something have been approved, which they'll go later and more. And the fact there'll be even more than that have scholarship openings there in Syria is a very good situation. So, 12 students are there and he visited them before going to Cape Town after South Africa. He went there and returned with information and news of a successful Conference for the world Parliament of Religion. I'm a member and a board member of the world, Parliament of Religion.
I'm speaking to you not only from my knowledge as a student of the Qur'an and the life of our Prophet Muhammad, but I'm speaking to you as a person who have interaction with such persons as Bishops, Archbishops, Pope of Rome, John Paul II and many others from Orthodox Greeks, Catholics, protests, Muslims, Jews, Priests, Hindus, Buddhists, the Dalai Lama of Tibet. I'm having an opportunity to sit in conferences, to sit in dialogue with such persons and listen to them and know what they're saying and know what they're seeing as the issues for the world, issues for religion on the world scene and where they are trying to take their people, the Christian community and the Jewish community and others.
I can tell you that this world as far as religion is concerned is in the best shape that it has been in since man has been walking on this earth. There has never been a better time for religions than today. Never before have religions, the religious leaders come together and for the purpose of respecting each other, getting acquainted each other to know each other better and to respect each other more. To work together in a cooperation so that we do more or reach more people of the world with the help we believe that the G-d of all of us want for mankind.
Not a false help, not a hypocritical help, not a puritanical help, a selfish help. Converting souls to our side and not caring about the world, the condition of these people in the world. No, we are interested in how people are faring in the world and maybe religion has contributed to them not faring as well as they could fare in the world. Maybe our differences with each other, maybe our separation from each other, maybe our dislike for each other, maybe our prejudices against each other are contributing to a lot of the problems and misery that people are suffering from our faith communities.
Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, all of us. So, for the first time a wonderful thing is happening. The most learned of minds and the most saintly of religious leaders are meeting together to see how can we work together and not against each other so that all of us fare better on this earth under G-d. There's never have been a time like this. There has been the best spirit I can think of for religions coming together. It occurred because of Muslims providing an opportunity. It was in Spain during the time of the rule of the Moors in Spain from North Africa.
Under that rule for 500 years they say, they enjoyed beautiful times. They called it the Golden Age. In history is called the Golden Age. The Golden Age. When the Muslims of Spain had a very Democratic society, a very liberal society, government. And they had in their leadership, especially in education and sciences. Jews working side by side with Muslims and Christians all worked side by side together, no religious problem. They didn't have a religious problem.
They welcomed and they respected each other and welcomed each other. And because of them the torch of their work for civilization was passed on to the West, to Rome and to England and eventually it came to America. And what was that? The Age of Enlightenment coming behind the Age of Darkness. The Age of Enlightenment was sparked by the cooperation of Muslim, Jews, and Christians for progress in education and civilization. But they didn't have it near as well as we have it or as beautiful as we have it today. Really, they weren't coming together to show a better religious face to the world. They were coming together really to take advantage of the Muslims new involvement in the sciences or engagement of the sciences and intellectual interests.
That's why they came together. Was not for religion per se. Fact it was not for religion at all. They came together in the interest of education, science and civilization. To extend civilization, which is good, great. Not to knock them, it's great. But today something even greater is happening. It's to world leaders coming together in the interest of bringing more peace to the soul of people who say they believe in G-d.
And they are not too much caring whether it's my believer who say or believer of my faith that's asking or needing our help. If it's a believer of any faith, this group that I'm meeting with have their interest at heart and want to see them have the better life. And sometimes you find even Muslims belonging to the group that is not Muslim. I met Muslims belonging to the Focolare group and they're members of that group. They're full-fledged members of the Focolare group. But the Focolare group was started by Christian Catholics. Their leader, a Christian Catholic woman, Chiara Lubich.
Started by Christian Catholics but it opened up to all people of faith if they believe in the principle of love, love for your neighbor, love for your brother and your neighbor, what you love for yourself. If you believe in that, you can belong to that group. So, there are many Muslim young and some middle-aged and even and my age and that have joined them. And they have what you call Focolarino and Focolarina.
Men and women, Focolare people. And we love them very much. And we have become so close to them. They are our friends under G-d. They are really our sincere friends under G-d. And we see it as a sign of what Prophet Muhammad said is going to happen. He said that a time will come when the people will see Muhammad the Prophet and Jesus Christ the Prophet together. He said they will see the two of us together. That's what Muhammad our Prophet said, the one that received the Qur'an that we follow. He said that.
I don't think it meant that we will see the two individuals together. That must be in the afterlife. I don't expect to see people that's died unless I have died. I don't think he meant that. I think he meant we'll see the communities coming together, we'll see the Christians and the Muslim communities coming together for a better life on this Earth. And it's happening. It's really happening. But not only Christians and Muslim, but also Jews and others, all of us are coming together for a better world. This is the day of religion.
Yau Mid Deen, Yau Mid Deen. Yau Mid Deen has two meanings. Yau Mid Deen means the day when the whole matter of human life on this earth has been concluded and it can't be carried any further and mankind has no future on this planet anymore. And G-d will close it all out. And He says, "He will roll up the heavens as door was nothing but a paper scroll. And He who created the world in the beginning will create a new world. And those who died in faith, He will give them a new world and a new life and new form. And they will never again suffer death or misery or sadness or grief. They will be forever in paradise in heaven."
Audience:
Allahu Akbar.
IWDM:
Yes. And that's the message of Christianity. And we believe so similarly that we should never see ourselves as enemies of one another. We believe in the same G-d. We believe in the same hope. We believe in the same life. Obedience to G-d. Peace and justice and freedom. We believe in the same. So why should we be fighting each other? Because we went astray from what G-d wanted for all of us.
And now the great leaders have come into the awakening again. An awakening of the mind, awakening of intellectual interest, awakening of scholarly pursuits, awakening of the mind. And they have researched. One of them said, what we have to do. That we have to research our own life and our own teachings, that we have to review it. We have to rethink everything. That's what one of the great leaders said at one of the meetings we had. That we have to rethink everything.
And I agree because our prejudices, the wars of the Crusades, religious people fighting each other, Christians and Muslim fighting each other. This stuff have blinded us to our real purpose under G-d. G-d never wanted a Believer in Him to fight another Believer in Him. G-d never wanted the followers of one of His Prophets to fight the followers of another one of His Prophets. G-d and the Prophets unite us. And that's what we are discovering.
And Scripture unites us. We just been reading it wrongly. If you read anything with a prejudiced eye, you'll get the wrong thing. You read it with a non prejudiced eye. G-d will help you find the right thing.
Audience:
Allahu Akbar.
IWDM:
The new day, I feel like shouting.
Audience:
[inaudible 00:21:09].
IWDM:
I do, G-d knows, I feel like I can jump up and break that wood up there and go straight up in heaven and have no scar and no hurt to my head. Come back down, drop through the same hole and say, "Thank you G-d. Thank you G-d."
Audience:
Allahu Akbar.
IWDM:
That's how happy I am in my soul. I didn't know I would live to see such a day. I couldn't have dreamed I would live to see such a day. Do you know the son of Elijah Muhammad, a man that never received more than three years of schooling in Georgia where the schools were not adequate. In his little Sandersville town where schools were not adequate, they were very poor schools, and he only got a chance to go there three years as a boy. And that man met another man who introduced him to an idea to build a following in the name of Islam and called them Muslims. Temples of Islam, he called them. He introduced that man to that idea and made that man his Minister, his assistant and that man, my father, did such a wonderful job of serving his leader, his Master. Called him Master Fard. Was not a black man, he was a foreigner. Called him Master Fard. He did such a wonderful job of following his Master, built the Nation of Islam, built the Temples of Islam, spread them all over the United States of America. Got attention from Channel 2 in 1960. The message of his work went all over the United States and outside.
Channel 2 called it, "The Hate That Hate Produced." In other words, don't blame Elijah Muhammad for calling you a devil, race of devils. Your hate of blacks have produced this hate of you. That's the hate that hate produced. Yes. And he got very popular, very successful. Built schools, good schools. I was educated in the school myself. Elementary school and High School. He died in 1975. February, 1975, right at Convention time, just a day before Convention. He died, 77 years old and the son became the leader as many of his followers thought would happen.
But the newcomers, which was most of the youngsters that were converted from the sixties on, they were not expecting that this man would become the leader of the Nation of Islam. They were expecting the Minister Farrakhan to become the leader or somebody else, not me. They didn't know me, but I became the leader.
And from 1975 till today we've come out of small places upon the world scene with so many benefits, so many benefits. Many Imams that couldn't get enough money to keep their lights on, couldn't get enough money to pay the rent because of the changes brought about since The Honorable Elijah Muhammad's leadership. They now get good salaries on professional jobs but also as Chaplains. Chaplains in the prisons, Chaplains in hospitals, Chaplains in the Army Service, Chaplains in the Navy. Yes, we have them. We have them.
And here is little WD, he used to call me WD when I was a boy. Little WD, even grownups called me WD, "WD come here." My mother called me WD at one time. Little WD now in the Vatican. And his father had no more than three years education. His mother had no more than seven years elementary schooling. The whole environment was not learning. I didn't come from a cultural environment of the educated. Cultural environment of the uneducated where we had to strain just not to say, "Ain't you going with me?" And "I ain't stunting you."
Some of you might remember that, remember that language. We had to strain to keep from using that kind of language when we were talking in higher circles or among the people that's supposed to be educated, we were trying to strain and say the right thing, speak correctly. And now his son, standing in the Vatican at a meeting of religious leaders from around the world hosted by his Holiness, Pope John Paul II. And there I am standing at the podium delivering my speech and the cameras are there, captured it, CNN and others. Captured it, taking it around the world. I get home as soon as I get home they tell me, "Saw you on TV."
"And we heard from Rome." Telling me that in Chicago, when I came back to Chicago, that's no accident. I'm not telling you that for you to look at me. G-d knows I didn't need that for me. You be surprised what I need for me. Very little, very little. I'll be happy. Very little. But this is not me. I have to respect the bigger thing. I have to give my life to the bigger thing. I have to give my little life to the bigger interests. And that's what I'm doing now, sharing this with you because all of us need to know what's happening.
Audience:
That's right.
IWDM:
This is no small thing that's happening. You'll get more out of this than you would get out of going back in time and be with Moses and see the Red Sea part. Yeah. If you could go back in time and be with Moses and his people and see the Red Sea part, it would not benefit you as much as what has happened in my life and G-d knows I'm telling the truth.
Went to Israel, got off the plane. Their officers meet me at the plane. Take me to a big long Mercedes limousine. Set me in there, sat in a Mercedes limousine. This is a little boy that used to eat chicken feet and ask mama to pour some more juice off the chicken feet on my rice. Yeah. So, you know how I dress? Well-dressed men. Chauffer looking like a millionaire. My chauffer looked like a millionaire, "Mr. Mohammed, Mr. Mohammed, we are so honored to have you." I sit in the limousine, close the door, can't hardly hear when they close.
Big old car, big old door. The car that I drive around in Detroit, "Boom". And you didn't even push it hard. Get to the hotel. I said, "Boy, if I could lose my mind, I sure would lose it here." Took me to my accommodation suite, big room to accommodate my guests. Desk, special area for me to do my work. Desk and everything. The bed, the room were the bed was. It was a punishment for me because I didn't have my wife with me.
I looked at all that plush carpet and that big old plush bed. It looked like six pillows on the bed. I said, "Good God A mighty." It was at night I didn't see out the window. The next day I got up and looked out the window. I said, "Good God A mighty." I couldn't imagine a prettier picture of paradise. There on the Sea of Galilee. Now you know the son of The Honorable, Elijah Muhammad. If G-d had not willed that these things be in his father's life and my life, you know I wouldn't have never seen the Sea of Galilee except on the pages of the Bible.
Looking out at the Sea of Galilee. The Jews have come in there and took that sandy rocked place man and made a paradise out of it. Looked down on the ground. I never seen a beautiful picture in my life of a natural scenery on the ground. Beautiful colors, beautiful plants and everything. Just like paradise. You know that was no accident. That was no accident. Those people say, "This man came from Elijah Muhammad, Elijah Muhammad who protested the wrongdoings of the white race to his people."
Audience:
Allahu Akbar.
IWDM:
These are people who suffered a lot. Not just me but our people. And look how the son of this man who called us a race of devils and told his people to separate from us have come up to embrace the best of us, those who have clean hands and now he's working with us so that conditions will be better for all people on this Earth. Say find the best-looking scene, find the best hotel, the best looking scenery. "Do your best to put this man in a literal paradise."
Audience:
Allahu Akbar.
IWDM:
And that's what they did. That's exactly what they did. And then assigned a top man from me who was a former ambassador to Turkey. Assigned him to me to be with me all the time every day. The chauffer was driving the two of us around along with our Imam, who's accompanying me as my company and my assistant to do reporting. And he's done beautiful reporting. Imam Hassan where are you? Imam Abdul Karim Hassan, stand. There are people here who have never seen you. This is our Imam of Los Angeles.
Imam of Los Angeles, one of the top people in our leadership. And he's been there for a long, long time. And a very good reporter, traveled with me, travel the world and he makes reports to our Journal. And I know he released some of it to the General Press. So that the press will also have information of value to them to share with their readership. And he does good photography work. The pictures are beautiful and never went to school for it, never went to school for it, never trained.
And the readers tell me, they say, "We like the way he reports" say, "He makes us feel as though we are right there experiencing what was going on." Yeah. So, he was with me. He can verify what I'm telling you and tell you much more than I have time to tell you. But I wanted to tell you that. My point is not to tell you my story or tell you how The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his son have been lifted up.
Any time I'm lifted up, my father has lifted up because my life is tied to his works and his life. So, there's no way I can be lifted up without him also being lifted up. And do you think I got to the Vatican and didn't mention his name? When I made my presentation I mentioned my father, by name. So that the world would know that I didn't get there without coming the way of The Temple of Islam under the leadership of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
Yes. So, G-d knows, and we don't know. G-d Lifted us up high in the world's eye. Yes. And we're not educated my father and neither my father nor I, we're not educated. My father taught himself. He told me, he said, "Son, I had a bad handwriting". He said, "I had to train myself, write over and over again till I could write with a decent hand." And he trained himself to read. He was a leader. He had to talk to different people. So, he got an education through his interaction with others who had education.
And when he died, he was certainly above a High School graduate. He was certainly above many college students in his knowledge and in his intelligence. And I do believe the man was a genius by nature. I believe he was created a genius cause I seen him do things with his mind that I know couldn't be done by ordinary people. I've seen it in my own house. My brother and I witnessed it. We were doing an algebra problem. We were in high school. Now he never had any more than three years elementary school education in a poor part of the world, poor part of the country in Georgia. Sandersville, Georgia.
We were doing this problem. It was on a day when he had no company. So, it was ordinary. On ordinary days we couldn't do this. We had to be very formal because he would have guests. But this was not that kind of a day. So, the family were all relaxing. And my brother and I, we had homework for the next day. So, I asked my brother, no, he asked me. Said, "Wallace, did you figure out that algebra problem?" I said, "No." I said, "Did you figure out?" He said, "No." So, we start discussing the algebra problem at the table. My father said You should do this. And the answer is this. When he said the answer, me and my brother looked at each other.
Our eyes just met at the same time. We were saying, "What in the world is going on here?" Because we knew the answer, but we were trying to get it. We were trying to set up the problem in the right way to get that answer. We hadn't done it. Our father got the answer. And that's just one evidence, there's so many things I saw him do. That's just one of the incidents and the evidences of him having a superior mind. Honorable Elijah Muhammad was an unfortunate African American, didn't have circumstances for education and whatever, but was a superior mind.
And we got many of them in all these big cities. Many who just haven't had the opportunity, but they got superior minds. When our Lord wants to do a thing, G-d Almighty, He does it. And sometimes He takes the thing that is unattractive, deemed of no value or importance. And he use that thing. And when He causes a great work to happen through that, that was not respected or appreciated for having the worth to even be chosen for such a mission or such a task. It is a stronger evidence than it would have been had it come through someone intellectual, educated with credentials, with PhDs.
So, you see G-d's way?
And the same thing happened in the life of Prophet Muhammad. Peace be upon him the one to whom G-d revealed the Qur'an. He was not educated, not formerly educated. He only had mother wit and experience. Experience of the common people. But he had such a pure heart but a good heart. And he had such a strong interest in bettering his society. He was determined to change the society from being divided and worshiping idols and ignorant like there were. That bothered his heart.
So, he went in solitude. And while he was in solitude, G-d spoke to him, communicated the first words of revelation to him. He told him, "Muhammad read," Muhammad said, "I can't read." And G-d said to him again, "Read." Then he again said, "I can't read." And G-d said to him, "Read in the name of your Lord who Created." And Muhammad began to read. But it wasn't a reading like we read. He began to read the message that G-d was revealing to him. And when he read it, it came out in the language of man. Arabic language.
That was his language. Arabic. He was an Arab of Arabia. And he began to recite it. And he was so frightened by the experience because he weren't raised among people who received Scripture like Christians and Jews and other. So, he was frightened and he didn't understand the experience. He remembered that his wife had an uncle who was a Christian, but he didn't live in the area where they lived. I think he was from Syria. So anyway, or maybe perhaps from the Jewish quarters of Arabia at that time.
So anyway, he, from Medina perhaps course there was a Jewish center there. Small Jewish center and people, Jewish community in Medina. That's the neighboring city that he had not never visited. He had hadn't gone there. So anyway, he commute to her and he told her that her of his experience, she told him not to worry. She said, "I believe that you are having an experience and it's G-d that is causing you to have this experience." She said, "Let me get my Uncle Nofel and have him see what he says about this." He was a man who followed Scripture.
She got him and he came to Muhammad. And after hearing what Muhammad experienced, he said, "I believe you are the Prophet mentioned in our Scriptures." He was a Christian. That's what he said. He said, "I believe you are the Prophet mentioned in our Scripture." Now, he didn't believe the Comforter that's promised in the New Testament was just a spirit, the Holy Ghost. He believed that the Comforter promised in the New Testament was another Prophet.
Another Comforter meant another Prophet from G-d. And he told Muhammad, "I believe that you are that Prophet, that G-d has chosen you." And Muhammad received more and more Revelation from G-d and eventually changed that whole land that he lived in from being idol worshipers, pagans and savages, almost. In many ways they were savages. They would had a ritual where they would go around the Ka'aba. If you were poor, you had to go around it naked so the businessman could see what he wanted to buy and then buy it later on.
The poor girl had to walk around there naked. So, he didn't have to dress naked. He wasn't poor. So, he watched her dress naked, said, "I think I like to buy that later on." It was a messed up society. It was a corrupt society in many ways. And a messed up society. Very messed up though it had some bright minds, bright stars in that bad land and that corrupt and bad land. There was some bright ones among us. They were the Companions of the Prophet called the Hunaifa. There was Abu Bakr, there was Umar.
These were men of high statue and they didn't give themselves to corruption. And they weren't ignorant. They weren't part of the warring clans of Arabia. They didn't belong to any of those warring clans. They were men who stood out as bright, intelligent stars. Stars of a virtuous human light. That's what I mean when I say stars. Saintly people. Stars of virtue. Virtuous light. Though they weren't follow in any Revealed Scripture. They just believed in being the best human person they could be responding to their best human motivations and their best human urges, their best human appetites.
They believed in listening to the human body and the human mind and following the best that suggested to them from their own life, instead of following the lowest and the worst that suggested to them from their life. And we have this kind of picture of the human life that they saw even before G-d gave them religion. And Qur'an mentioned, as the possibilities for the human being that if he spends on himself to make himself virtuous and intelligent, he will be elevated to the most excellent position.
But if he neglects to do that, he'll be reduced to the lowest of the lowest when it comes to life or creatures on this planet. That means lower than a dog, lower than a pig. If you think a pig is low. Lower than a snake, he can be reduced to the lowest of the low according to the Qur'an. Which means that the possibilities for man to fall and rise are all in his human nature. And G-d has given him this duplicity to test him so that he can earn excellence and earn righteousness and earn favors of G-d and earn paradise. Isn't that wonderful?
Audience:
Yes.
IWDM:
Now why would G-d want us to be put the test so that we'd have to earn all of this? Because G-d has created us in such way that earning it brings us so much more pleasure than having it given without us earning it. Muhammad the Prophet said, "No descendants of Adam..." That means all people. Because we believe all people were descended from Adam. Says, "No descendant of Adam have enjoyed a meal like that meal that he worked for with his own hands."
And you know that's the truth. As much as I love my father, he provided for me. But I sure felt special when I know that I worked for it and my wife put that food on that table. And when my dollars that earned paid for that bill. Oh boy, my mustache was real then, man. "Oh Shirley, can you bring out a little more rice and peas please?"
Yeah. That's natural. And for females and males, it's the same. I got a terrific daughter. Same little girl, man. I wake up in the morning, "What has happened to this house?. House looked like my wife came in there and made the bed, swept the floors, put everything in their places. A woman couldn't have done a better job. She's 10. She was 10. 10 years old. A 10 year old trying to fix that room up so nice. She fixed the best dish of vegetables I ever had.
I said, "You all, while I was gone," I said, "You all been messing with this stove, haven't you?" She said, "Well," she knows she didn't want to tell me. So, I'm now eating and I'm eating some of the vegetables. She said, "Well I fixed some vegetables, I use the can." I said, "You did?" She said, "Yeah." I said, "Well best was not all can here." She said, "Well I did some carrots." And she said, "I cut up some celery in it." 10 years old. Delicious. Really delicious.
Well, this is natural ability, natural ability that G-d gave. And many of us have that natural ability and it is because of that natural ability in my family that G-d chose us, I guess. My father and myself. I'm convinced that G-d determined that my father would be the man he was and do the work he did. And that I would be the son to follow him in that work and do the work that I am doing. And it's wonderful. It's wonderful. It's a revelation just looking at what has happened. For me it's a great revelation just looking at what has happened.
And we have our Prophet as an example to tell us, "Oh yes, it happens this way. Look at me. I was uneducated and G-d made me a teacher to the whole world and a Mercy to all of the nations." Yes, that was Muhammad the Prophet. And if we know it, if we understand preachers among us today, if you understand brother Reverend, your Bible. Jesus too was uneducated by the world. The world didn't teach him.
But G-d took a man who was in his human form, produced fit for the work G-d created him for. And then G-d took him. And the Bible said, "He sanctified and taught him." The Bible says this. He was sanctified and also taught. Many people don't know that about Jesus Christ. They read the Bible that the preacher's preach, but they don't know that about Jesus Christ. Yeah, Jesus Christ was sanctified and also educated, but not by the world, by G-d Almighty the G-d that created him.
The same G-d that created him, also educated him and prepared him to do the work he had to do in the world. That is to say to the world, you can exclude those that you deem to be worthless and inferior to you. But I can reach them and cause them to rise up and excel even you. In virtues, in intelligence, in education and worth to the society. And eventually those that you kept out will be the ones that you will have to respect in a new world created by G-d through them.
Wasn't it through Jesus Christ that the pagan Rome that rejected Jesus Christ and carried out the punishment according to the Christian teaching? Was it not that same Rome that became Christian? And is it not that same Rome that lived in the culture and in the religion and in the societal life that has been created through the Prophet Jesus? Peace be upon him, Christ Jesus. Yes. So, look how the victim now has become the victor.

Allahu Akbar.
IWDM:
How rejected have become the provider to those who rejected him. How wonderful it is. Thank you. And not only for Christianity, but also for Islam. The Meccans said, "We'll kill you or drive you out. You will never establish this religion here. But look how Mecca is now.
The land of Islam. The whole peninsula is the land of Islam and it's spread it out all to Africa and Persia, even into Europe, the land of Islam and now even in America.
But it first conquered the land that rejected him. The land of his birth rejected him. But Islam came anyway in spite of their opposition to it.
And eventually the new world that they didn't want to see come in, pushed out the old world and they're living now in the world of the one they rejected. So, this is the time of religion. And that's what I want to press upon you today. That the G-d of Islam is the G-d of Christianity. The G-d of Judaism is the G-d of Islam and Christianity. Ain't but One G-d. He's the G-d of all of them. And we are tied together not only by the fact or by the belief that we are created by that one G-d, but we are also tied together Christian, Muslims and Jews. By the knowledge that has been revealed to us separately, that the same G-d that revealed to Muhammad, revealed to Moses.
The same G-d that revealed to Moses and Muhammad revealed to Jesus Christ. The same G-d. One G-d only. Now aren't we silly if we don't see a connection for ourselves as people of faith? When we know the same G-d that brought about the community of one, brought about the community of the others. We have to come together. We can't afford any longer to ignore and not acknowledge each other. We have to acknowledge each other.
This world has become too small. This earth is too small, too populated, too many of us on it, too crowded. I have to share that walkway with a Christian. A Christian has to share the walkway with me and with a Jew and with the Buddhist. World just become too small for us to avoid each other and never see each other for a lifetime. We going to see each other every day. And we have to share this gift of the Planet Earth.
That's what it is. It's a gift. It's a trust to us. G-d gave it to us as a trust. We're going to have to share this planet earth with each other. If we expect the fare well in the future, we are going to have to not only accept each other, we are going to have to find ways to work together for a better earth for all of us. And that's what G-d wants. We'll never convert each other. The Christians will never convert all people to the Christianity. The Jews will never convert all people to Judaism, and they don't even want to.
And the Muslim will never convert all people to Islam. We will never do that. G-d never told us to do that. G-d tells even the Prophets, "You have not the power to give faith to anybody." That's what G-d tells our Prophet Muhammad. Say, "You have not the power to guide anybody." He says, "To guide is with G-d." You can only invite people to the guidance.
But you cannot guide them.
You know that old saying, "You can take the horse to the water, but you can't make him drink." Or something like that.
I think it's a horse.
Take the horse to the water, but you can't make him drink.
Well, those people with that common language, they're saying the same thing that Scripture said. You can take people to a faith, but you can't make them accept it. And you can show them the light, but you can't make them acknowledge it. You show them the light at almost burn his eyes. "Hell, I don't see nothing but darkness." "No, you ain't got no light, Mr. Muslim." His eyes just running water. Just looking at the bright light right there. Eyes straight burning, water, water, water coming out his eyes. "You ain't got no light Muslim."
And the same thing for us. Some of us Muslims can't be shown our religion. We think we got Islam. Ain't got it. Somebody try to show us the real Islam. "Oh they ain't no real. That ain't no real Islam. Ain't no real Islam." Seeing the truth too, seeing the light just as plain as day eyes reddening and tearing. "No, no, no. I don't see nothing. That ain't no light. That ain't no light."
So, I want to conclude this now because our time is up and I conclude it by saying, "Let us be happy. Let us rejoice." I don't care how many children you got that's in terrible trouble. Dead. Some of them killed on the street, some of them locked up, some of them on drugs. I don't care what condition they in. There's so much happening on the scene for the beautiful future coming for all human souls on this earth. Believe me there is so much to rejoice and be happy for that if you saw it as I see it, you wouldn't cry anymore.
You'll still be sorry for those that are suffering, your loved one, but you won't be crying. Time to dry your face and be happy sisters and be happy brothers. Be happy. This is the greatest time ever occurred on this Planet Earth. I'm a truthful man. All those who know me. You can go back to my past when I was a little boy shooting marbles. Go in the neighborhoods that I was born in. Find people who knew me. They'll say, "He's truthful. Not a liar." I'm a truthful person.
And G-d has blessed me to want good for myself and everybody. I wouldn't dare do anything to bring wrong or bad to your mind or heart. G-d knows that. So take it from me. This is the day of religion, the great bright Earth that is Prophesied in the Scripture that the Earth itself will shine with a new light and the world will be as a new heaven and a new earth. It's just only a few days in the future.
Now, I'm not talking about 24 hour days, but it's only a few days in the future. I may see it myself and I'm a senior citizen and enjoying it. I go to the movie; I love to see good movies. I go to the movie, and I say, "Senior citizen ticket please." Then I have more money to buy popcorn and raisinets, whatever. So, we thank G-d for this day and this time. The time that all the Prophets directed us to, they all were directing us to this time.
We thank G-d that we're alive in this time when He's making a new heaven and a new earth. We ask Him for His guidance always. We ask Him to forgive us our sins. Excuse our errors, have Mercy on us our Lord, for if you showed not us Mercy we would not have been guided to Islam. Ameen.
