By Imam W. Deen Mohammed
Bilalian Heritage Survival Day. Our Heritage Survival Day. The day of our heritage. Do we have that? So, we make sure we have the word directly printed there-Ethnic. Ethnic survival. We hope to have the day before, two days here in Chicago, there's a chance that we might not even be here in Chicago on the main day. That's the 26th, Sunday. There's a chance we might be in Detroit. Now if we will be in Detroit, that means that brothers and sisters will have to travel from Chicago to Detroit to the Sunday meeting. So, we have to have good cars and cars that are in bad shape now they have to be getting ready for Survival Day. And the bus that needs repair, we should repair it now so that everything is ready for Survival Day.
Because I think we might have to travel. We've been talking to the Secretary Treasurer about less than an hour ago, and he says that it seems that all the places are taken here. I already booked. It's a Sunday. Survival Day falls on a Sunday this time. When it falls during the week, it's not so hard to find a place, but when it falls on a Sunday, it's hard to find a place unless you've already applied for it months ahead. So, we might not be even able to find a place. I hear that there's one place, but it only holds about three and half thousand people. And really we can accommodate almost that many right here. We could because the Masjid can hold close to 1500. Then we have the school and we have the Baja. We can put monitors up in those places. So, we wouldn't do too much good by renting that small place.
So, we hope that maybe if we can't find a place suitable here, which looks like we're not going find a place, maybe we could go to Detroit and maybe they'll be able to get the Cobo Arena. That's a big place, big nice place which would accommodate the believers from the Midwest region. So, we want all the Midwest regions to come in. That's Cleveland, Ohio area, Milwaukee and that area there. St. Louis, even as far as Kansas City to come in. So, it'll be the Midwest region coming in and I hope, Allah bless us, I hope to go to each region. The Survival Day week will start on the 19th, Brother treasurer. The 19th.
So, to start on the 19th and go through the 26th. Now on the 19th we plan to go to New York and talk to the East Coast region, all the Masjids in that vicinity. And on the 22nd we hope to go to Atlanta, Georgia and talk to the South and have the South meet in Atlanta, Georgia. And from Atlanta, Georgia we are going to Los Angeles, pardon me, Kansas City. No, Kansas City won't come in. That's right. We'll go to Kansas City. So, Kansas City most likely will take Texas, Oklahoma and maybe St. Louis. No, not St. Louis. St. Louis most likely will come here. That's right. So, we will go to Kansas City in that area there. So that's like West. In the Midwest. It's like Midwest.
And from there we go to Los Angeles, go to Los Angeles. And we'll be in Los Angeles. Is that a Saturday or Sunday? A Saturday. We'll be in Los Angeles on a Saturday. That's right. That Saturday. And then back to the Midwest, back here for the Sunday the 26th. So, Sunday we'll either have the meeting here, the climax, the climax, of the Survival Day week observance here or either in Detroit, Michigan. Now we hope to have Saturday. No, we won't be able to do that Saturday. But we have a day open. That's a Monday. We leave on, we go to New York on a Sunday. Right? Monday we have a day open. Monday, right? We got Friday open? Where will we be on Friday? And we got Friday open. We could come from Kansas City after the meeting up in Kansas City, we could come back here, right? Or Friday. So, Friday would be the 20 what? Fifth, 24th. That's right. Friday would be the 24th. Okay. So, we could have the World Community programs presented on Friday.
We are planning to have a nice program. So, Friday, The Department of Education will have something, will present something. The Business department will present something, a display or something, maybe a talk on business on their product. Education, Department of Education, the Business Department, the Imams Masjid program, they will have something to present. Prison service. Yes, prison service and a special program that will present the woman, the ideal woman in Al- Islam. Now if we have some sisters who've given thought to this, they're putting it together. So, they're helping me put this together, I've chosen to be the director of this myself.
They're going to bring their talents back to me Insha Allah, next week. And I'm going to take a look at it and we are going to try to put this together. And I hope we can put this on, at least this part on film so we can send it to the areas and show them how the Muslim woman Muslim should look according to the teachings, according to the understanding of Chief Imam WD Mohammed. I've seen fashion shows. I've seen fashion shows on the West Coast and I've seen fashion show on the East Coast. And I'm telling you, every fashion show I've seen it have made me feel very ashamed.
I felt uneasy, embarrassed, ashamed because Muslim sisters, they just don't get up there and display themselves like the American women. In fact, it takes courage for the average woman to become a model. It takes courage, she has to lose her shyness. And shyness is natural. She has to lose her shyness. You got to get out there and what they call it, pirouette. Your arms just going on and carrying on, do a spin and looking all sexy. Coming at you like they punching you. Now that's what we have in our community if you don't give the sisters the right look. So, we have to present the right look to our community and step by step, bit by bit, we'll get the community as Allah want it. And we ain't going to be satisfied until we please Allah.
So, so much for the Survival day program. Now one other thing I want to get out way before going into this talk tonight. There was a report that the brother and the sister child was molested in the washroom last Tuesday. Now, we are still investigating this report and I hope that we find that report is not true. But things like this have happened before. They don't happen often, but every few years somebody's reported that somebody has molested a child or something. Now dear brothers and sisters, if we have such people among us, please check yourself, restrain yourself.
Don't do that to us. Restrain yourself please because we would like to help you and we are certainly going to protect our children. So, if you have a problem like that, if you'll come and talk to me, I'll be glad to talk to you and I believe I can bring a lot of peace and comfort to you. You don't have to go around with problems like that. So, if you don't control yourself and don't seek help, don't control yourself, if we catch you, if I get wind of it and if I can get to you, I'm going to cut your head off you. If I can get to you, I'm going to cut your head off.
She wants to add the word information. Well I know. I understand your point and believe me, I appreciate the point. But here is the problem. Now I'll tell you the truth. I wanted some more words in it myself. But here's the problem. When you get too many words, the people don't catch the message. They don't get the message. The fewer the words, the better. And sometimes when people don't know everything, they come to see. If you talk too much on a subject, they think they know it all. They think they got it all in the subject. But if we say, I think Ethnic Survival. In fact, I think the word survival is what gets it because people want to survive and survival is threatened. Most people feel that their survival is threatened. You have to battle just to survive. So, I would like to myself have more said in that title, but I think we better keep it short like that. Yes. Now let us have Al Fatiha, and you can sit right where you are.
I want to begin with the reading from the Holy Qur'an. This is chapter 10. It's called Jonah. And in Arabic, his name is Yunus. The chapter called Yunus, Verse 24. And it reads, can all of you hear me good? Can you hear me? Good back there. Very good. The mic is right. The mic is right. We don't like it sensitive. It's right. I know I like the way it is. I just want to make sure everybody can hear. This verse begins "The likeness of the life of the present, Its as rain, It is as the rain which we send down from the sky. By its descending, arises the produce of the earth which provides food for men and animals. It grows till the earth is clad with the golden ornament and decked out in beauty. The people to whom it belongs think they have all powers of disposal over it. Thus reaches it Our commands by night or by day and We make it like a harvest, mown clean as if it had not flourished only the day before. Thus, do we explain the signs and details for those who reflect."
Tonight we are going to be talking about human nature. Human nature. And water is a symbol of human nature. When you say human nature, I'm not talking about the nature that is brought about as human beings by ignorance, by misguidance. We're not talking about ugly nature, we're talking about human nature. And human nature is symbolic of water. Our human nature can be described as the nature of water. Now we've talked a lot on the nature of water, but I want to go to the board now and we're going to try as much as possible to keep some visual picture before the eyes. I'm not an artist now, so don't expect a picture of some beautiful art.
Now this is water. Ok, say this is water. Now we already know the water is not like that. The water is pretty level, isn't it? Pretty level. The water stays pretty level unless it's disturbed by something, If it's not disturbed by something, it stays pretty level. Now let's say this is the water contained on the earth, ocean, lakes, right? So, we can just say oceans down here. OCEAN. Is that how you spell ocean? Okay, ocean, lakes, rivers, whatever, the water on the earth. However, we have different descriptions. The river is slightly different from the other bodies of water like oceans and lakes. That is, they carry different meaning when we are talking about human nature, when we are talking about human nature. Now the oceans or this kind of water, the big body of water held in one place is symbolic of the human nature. The real, original human nature. Alright, now this water is taken up into the air in the form of mist right? Mist. Small, small drops. You can see this, but the way it goes up, you won't be able to see it, right? You can see this, but you won't see what goes up unless you catch, uh, you can see sometimes what they call Fall on a humid day when temperature has changed fast and there's a fast, quick change of temperature. You can see the mist rise up there during Fall. But now this is rising all the time, especially during the day when the sun is up, the mist is rising, but it comes up so far and you can't see it. So, this is the activity here. You have the ocean, the mist comes up not only from the ocean, now, it comes up from anything wet. The land, everywhere. Wherever there's moisture, it comes up, but the greatest portion comes up from where the greatest amount of water is. So that would be the bodies of water. So, the mist is coming up like this from the ocean right? It's rising up. It rises up and it also comes down. And when it comes down, it comes down into this form, right? Raindrops, you see. Rain goes up as mist and comes down as raindrops.
Alright? And that human being is like a leg or ocean like water, standing water. It means the human being wants to be at peace. The human being likes to have quiet, likes to be at peace, don't like to be upset, don't like to be disturbed. See water, if you don't bother it, likes to be at rest. You see. It doesn't like if you shake it up, it shakes up. But leave it alone, stop shaking it, it will rests. The wind blows it, it's disturbed, but the wind stops, the water rests. You see something moving it, it shakes it, but leave it alone, it rests. So, the nature of the human being is to be at peace. This is the original nature of the human being. He wants to be at peace. Not that we don't like to move about. Certainly we like to move about, but we don't like to be disturbed.
And water seeks its level, it rests and it levels off. There is its level, no part higher than the other level, right? And it's obedient. It'll stay right in the container that's holding it. It's obedient, unless it's disturbed. If it is disturbed, it's shaken out of the container maybe. But if you leave it alone, it'll come right back and rest in its place. So, it likes to be obedient. It is peaceful and it's obedient. So, scripture, Allah is saying, scripture is saying to us that the human being is by nature a peaceful creature, a peaceful creature. And a creature willing to accept law. Law. To just accept willingness peacefully. Whatever law that you give it. If you put it in a glass, the water stays in the glass. You put it in a cup, it will stay in the cup. If you put it in a trough, it stays in the trough.
If you put it on a slant, it'll go down. And some water will even go up. You put the right kind of material down in the water, the water will come up. So, whatever the nature of the thing is, the water tries to please it. If the wind blows against it, it will give in. It will go with the wind, right? So, it wants to please. The water wants to please, but it prefers to be left alone. It wants to be at rest, you see? So, it is peaceful, it is agreeable, obedient and agreeable. It wants to please and prefers to be at rest. So, this is the nature of a human being. Beautiful nature of a human being. When babies come here, they're like that. The baby likes to be at rest. Baby loves to be cuddling in his mother's arms. Loves the comfort of his mother's arms. But if something disturbs the baby, the baby get excited, but the baby comes back to rest, right? The baby comes back to rest.
He won't get, when the excitement, when the irritation leaves him, he comes to rest. Not like some grown ups. The irritation come there, they get irritated, take the irritation away. They still irritated. They're going go around now and irritate everybody else. So, the baby is not like that. So, in our original nature, we all like water. And look at the beautiful description now that G-d has given us. What is this nature? It is the nature of peace. And Jesus said "The peace makers shall be called the children of G-d," which means the true followers of G-d. That's all it means. The true followers of G-d. The children, the peacemakers shall be called the true followers of G-d. That's what Jesus said. So, peace is very essential and everything begins out of peace. And what man wants? The baby life, the beginning of life, it wants to be at peace.
It doesn't want to be disturbed. And when you go off and get it to be a wrong person, what are you struggling for? Peace. That's what we are struggling for Peace. Some people call it happiness, but it's peace. We want to have our souls rested. We want to rest. We want to accomplish the things we want to accomplish so we can have satisfaction. We want satisfaction. This is peace. We want to be at peace. So, this is the end, the beginning and the end. It is the peace. Now the scripture says that water was the beginning of our life, not individual life, but social life. The society began as water. People who have studied society, there's a woman, I can't recall her name right now, but she's well known for studying primitive society. Margaret Meade is her name.
She is very well known for studying society. Be going in the back woods, living with people and saving them. And she says that. And if you read the writing of these people who have studied society, you find that when we look at all what they're saying and put it all together, what they're finding, don't agree with what these modern day sociologist in the past and especially those that came up 30 years ago with their so-called social science, they don't say that the human being is criminal by nature. Sinful by nature. They find that in some of these most primitive backward societies, that people live very lovingly together. They're trustworthy, they won't steal, they're trustworthy and loving people. A whole tribe live as one family. They share with each other. They care for each other, love each other. The children and the mother and the parents are happy together. So, you see how Allah is telling us the truth that human beings, they start off in a very peaceful state. And we say we think that the beginning of man, from what we read, starts off with aggressive issues. We think the beginning of man is stone age man with a club, beating his wife over her head and dragging her by her hair.
No, no, that's not the beginning of human society. Human beings don't live like that. If you find human beings living like that, they're living in an unnatural setting or unnatural environment. They're starving, or either they've been made like that by threat of war from others. Human beings are not naturally like that. They don't come up naturally like that. Primitive society, the pygmies and all and all the backwoods people that they have been studying. There's one now they've been studying- The Tasadine People. They don't even have a word killed. Hate. They don't even have a word like that in their language and these are what they call very undeveloped people. They don't know what a machine is. They never saw anything like that. They don't know what pencils and pens are. They don't know what books are, but they don't have any violent language, no abusive language. They're kind and loving to each other.
As a Doctor, he studied, I forget the name of this man, this man and a woman. I went into this area, maybe we can do some research on this and find the Tasadine people. I think these discoveries began maybe about three years ago. Just recent. Just recent. The Tasadine people. So, the evidence seems to be against those people who say man in his primitive beginning, is a wild animal. He's not. In his primitive beginning, he's the same thing the baby is in his beginning. The baby is a sweet loving child, a sweet loving creature that you can train and raise up. He accepts discipline, he accepts love. He's open for us to love. That's the baby, right? He's not a savage, he doesn't hate this. If you show him love, he responds to love. He respond to care, kindness, good loving care. He responds to these things. He obeys you, he submits to obey and the baby will follow your orders. Obey. So, this is the real nature. The baby is the real picture of the primitive beginning of society. Society begins just like that baby there, loving, kind peaceful and everything. But if you bring evil in there, alright, and they don't have the intelligence to deal with that evil, the evil disrupts their good life. But G-d doesn't make any people evil. They're made good. They become evil because they give themselves to evil forces or they don't have the intelligence to deal with the subtle kinds of things that come against them. Or irritability. If you just keep suffering, suffering, suffering, you become so irritable it brings out the ugliness. If you don't have wise people to explain that challenge to you- "Look, this is a challenge. Don't give in to these things. This is a challenge." But if you don't have wise people to explain it, you give into that thing that's irritating you, then you become ugly, right?
Yeah. So that human being is not made like that. He becomes like that because the absence of good sense or the absence of right guidance. Now the water is lifted up by the pull of the sun, or the heat of the sun causes it to evaporate and become fine mist and it is lifted up. Now what are we doing? We are showing the language of scripture, that scripture is saying to us, G-d didn't do these things accidentally. G-d didn't do this in vain. It's not an accident. All of this was done on purpose. And the Holy Qur'an says, "In the creation of the heavens and the earth and all of that in between are instructing signs." So, the water and the way that it reacts, the vapor coming up, going up in the sky, the Holy Qur'an says G-d didn't do this in vain. He didn't do this for nothing.
These are instructing signs. So, what are we to see of this? What are the instructing signs? It's that you are made peaceful by nature. You are made to be satisfied with your state. With the state that you are in. You are to rest there. You'll be satisfied with it until something acts on you from without. Once something acts on you from without, you are made to respond to it. That's right Again, the Bible says that the man is made of clay. The Holy Qur'an says, sounding clay. Sounding clay. The Holy Qur'an took it a step further. And really it's all in the water If we see it. Clay is agreeable or pliable. You can make it in any shape you want, right? The soft clay, the fresh clay, you make it into a ball, a square. Anything you want. You do what you want with it. Isn't the baby life just like that?
That baby is given to us by Allah to put into our hands and we can make it. We can take that soft clay of that baby and we can make a dog out of it if we want to. We can make a man out of it. We can make a rat or we can make a decent mother. That baby is left to us. We can make whatever you want out of it. But the Holy Qur'an says also that this is sounding clay. This is telling the Jew say yes, you are right. He's made to agree with the forces that will discipline him or influence him. But he's also made to speak back.
Not only does he bear the mark of the environmental life that he's put into, but his speech too is a response to the forces of his environment. You hit the clay. Sounding clay is hard clay. Once you shape the clay and you bake it and then you hit it and it rings. It has a ringing sound. The clay would give a ringing sound. It will sound, a ringing sound. salad. Yeah, a ringing sound. So, this is saying to us that not only is the habits, the physical habits, the way we eat, the way we respond to it, given it to us by our teachers, the family in the home and by the environment. But even our expression, our speech, what we say, the world is responsible for it. So, the lies that are told, you are responsible for that too you see. So, if we want good speech, we have to train children, we have to raise them up properly. If we want good manners, we have to raise them up properly.
And speech comes after mannerism. The baby learns manners before he learn speech. He learns how to obey physically. Not to put his hands where they shouldn't belong, not to go where you tell him not to go. You can check him physically before you can discipline his language. But after he gets up a little bit, he learns the language, learns the language, then you can start to discipline his language. So, you see the soft clay is like the new clay, fresh clay. The baked clay, it represents a bit of maturity advancement. So, the baked clay gives off a ring, it can express itself. You see? Yes, it rings off means the human being is made agreeable and then he is hardened in the form that we want him to be. And we harden him in that form, don't we? After we get in him in the form that we want, we can instruct him as to what it is we want from him. "This is the way to be." And every time he disagrees, "Bam", we pop him. "Now this is what we want."
So, society says we'll mark you up, right? So, he gets hardened in that shape that we put him in. So, it's like making a big clay. So, when he speaks, whose language does he speak? Ours. And if we don't like the way he speak, aren't we responsible? Because we are the ones that helped form the clay. That clay can't make a sound by itself. Something has to hit that clay to make a sound. So, the Holy Qur'an is saying, don't no baby come into this world, speaking in any language. You have to give him a language. What he says come from you. So, the Holy Qur'an is putting the blame on the society for the behavior and for the education. Whatever these people say to us, whatever is spoken in the society, society is responsible. So, if man wants to correct the society, he has to correct the behavior, he also has to correct the language. And when I say language I don't mean just our spoken language. Our spoken language comes from and is influenced by others.
We speak the way we do because we see certain things on tv, we see certain things in movies, we hear certain things in the school. People give us a certain kind of mental attitude and an orientation. Is that right? So, we are given attitudes and we are given a certain belief and principles, a certain kinds of idea about what we are and about what the world is. Okay? We come in our language, we speak what we think, we speak what we feel into the society. And when that speech is bad, and don't you know we have come to have bad language. The whole world is just filled with bad language. The conversation is no good. Every time you hear people talking, it's no good. They're not talking about anything good. It's no good. Something to weaken the human being. Anything to distract him, not to lift him up, something to put him down, something to corrupt him, to filthy him up, to dirty him up, to scar his nature. Get his nature out of form. So, when the world gets like this, the Holy Qur'an is telling us, Allah is telling us through Prophet Muhammad, that we are responsible and it within our grasp to make the things right. We can make the play right, we can give the world good speech, good ideas, good education, it's in our power. But look now. When the human being begins, he has nothing to go on but his nature. And his nature is like the water. If the wind blows, the water moves.
If there's a thump, a jar, the water shakes. So, the water shows fear, is that right? Fear. If something hits the container, the water shakes. Now when you study the human being, the nervous system, those who know, the doctors, they don't have the original knowledge of it. In fact all they know, they got from us. Do you know that? Either from themselves or from others. No doctor got anything out of the sky. They tell you that those are hard materials. They tell you that ain't no G-d reveal nothing to man. But they go around preaching their philosophy like it was invented out in space somewhere. And everything that they got came out of the environment. So, the nervous system of the human being is just like this water. If you upset the person, the shaking is all over, right?
The hurt might be in the hand, but the whole body is shaking. You see. Or maybe the bad news came and it was of a certain nature, but when it hit the nervous system of the human being, all through the body is affected, is shaken by it, you see? So, it's like water. But the same obedient, peaceful, fearful creature can also say "I'm not afraid anything." That was when I was a young boy, I was a coward and didn't know it. But now I'm a man. I'm proud to say I'm afraid. Anybody that's not afraid of anything, they're in bad shape. It's human nature to be afraid, you're supposed to be afraid of certain things, things that you are not able to handle.
The check that saves you is fear. If I start driving a car to show fast I can go and I push the car to get up to about ninety, and I began to feel nervous inside, fearful. Time Okay, well I've reached the limit of my ability. I'm not whoever that great racer was, I can't think of his name. Evil Knievel. See at ninety he's not nervous. He's not nervous because he's been there at ninety. But me, I haven't been there at ninety. This is something I don't know and I'm getting nervous, right? I'm getting nervous and maybe my car's not his car either. Maybe my car wasn't built to do no ninety. Okay? So, I'm getting nervous. So, who's checking me? Allah. Through my nature, human nature, he has put it in my nature to be afraid at certain times. When I'm going beyond my knowledge or when I'm attacking something that I can't deal with and it's a dangerous situation, then my nature tells me to be afraid, the feeling of fear comes on me. And that's really protection that protects my life. Now if I start riding up on that highway right now, now about 55, 60, perhaps I can make it back home. But if I say no, I can do it. I'm challenging the fear. I'm daring. Daring G-d to kill me. "You can't hurt me. I dare you to kill me, dare you to kill me.
And it's all over. It's too late for another teacher. He just got his last teacher. I mean this happens often, doesn't it? And it's not always a car. Sometimes its just our own foolish ignorance. "I didn't run through no light sucker." "Ah, yes you did sir." "Oh F you." "Well I'm going to have to arrest you if you keep talking like that." "You ain't going to arrest me. I'll make you eat that damn thing." "Boom, Boom." Now he just had his last teacher. Don't think because we are grown ups, we still shouldn't value fear in our nature. We should love that Allah put fear in our nature. That fear warns us when we are in the danger zone, you see? So, it's like water, but the human being is not just that. He's not limited to that. He's not limited to fear and to a quiet, peaceful nature. He has the nature to evolve, to rise up, to evolve. And how does he get up? Light. The sun is a ball of light.
When the sun is shining, when the day, the heat, and the light rays hit the water, the little mist begins to go up. Right? Now this water that goes up, it does two things. One, it becomes cleaner, it becomes purer because in the body of water that it came from, maybe there was pollution. In fact, most likely there was some degree of filth, some degree of dirt, right? Okay, so the body, the water that is lifted up by the light is lifted up from this. We can talk about this for some time, but listen very clearly and you can see that G-d has created this world to speak to our intelligence. Says in the creation of the heavens and the earth and all between and even in yourself are instructing signs. G-d is instructing you, He's teaching you. So, what is He teaching us here? The nature of the human being peaceful, fearful, obedient. Will stay in its place but it will also rise up. What rises up? Light. What is the light symbolic of? Knowledge. Wisdom. Don't ask to rise up if you don't have no sense.
If you don't have any more sense than the people you want to rise up above, then why ask to rise up? When we say these are natural signs, it is the light, that rises the water up. Is that right? But look what's put on the light. That light is also warm. Is that right? That light also gives heat. It is not a cold light. A cold light can't lift up humanity. It takes a warm light to lift up humanity. If the light is there and if the warm rain is there, then it strikes the human in his nature.
In his nature, His nature is obedience, his nature is fear. Alright? His nature is peace. You can't raise up a people who is against peace, who is disobedient. But if they will be obedient, if they will listen and obey and be peaceful, not war natured, but peaceful, they can be educated and lifted up, raised up. And if light, the intelligent source that's raising them up, if that source have warmth like the sun, it can raise them up. But if it is cold, it can't raise him up. Does the moon lift the water? It's cold. No heat. The sun lifts the water.
You see. Because who can instruct us better than G-d? This is what Allah has told us in His Holy Qur'an. Now what doctor of sociology or psychology, can tell you anything better than this about your nature? None. It took Allah to reveal this us. Now look, the water draws the mist up. The water has to become light. Light. It can't stay heavy and go up. What do you have to do to become light? You have to shed off a whole lot of your selfish weight. You can't rise up in a solid mass. You got shed off a whole lot of your selfish weight and go up as fine vapor.
So, this is descriptive of the sentimental nature. The sentimental nature. See the water's there and it's at rest and at peace. But if the sun hit it with its light, and in the water be in the light, the water gets sentimental, it gets light. It just want to rise up to G-d. Is that right? Yes. This is the nature of the human being. So, G-d has said enough about our nature. Who can tell us better about our nature than G-d? Nobody. So, He says, "I haven't created these things in vain. These are instructing signs from Me." They're telling you about what about what My desire is for you. How I see your nature and how I want your nature to respond. What kind of nature you have, what kind of leadership I want for you and any other leadership won't affect you in the right way. It's always the right time. See, G-d has taught us this in the creation. Now isn't this a great wisdom? That the sun is not just in the sky, the sun speaks from the sky. That the light and the heat is not just there but it speaks out there. But water in the ocean is not just in the ocean but it educates. See this is the great wisdom that we call revelation. So, when we say revelation, we don't mean that somebody heard something in the sky. No. We are talking about a great message, a great education that comes to the human being by natural way.
Now the mist goes up. And as it goes up, it comes into cold regions doesn't it? Now it's going up toward the sun. The sun is the one drawing it up there. The sun is hot. If it gets up there, it gets so light it will disappear. But in growing up it comes through cold regions. Now I've been up there. If you haven't been up there, just look at your map and your map will you show you high mountains. High mountains have white heads. They're capped with snow and ice. Why? Because it's cold up there. Alright, so when you get way up there it's cold. When the fine mist begin to get up there, what happens? The same thing that happened on that cold glass you take out a refrigerator and you sit it in a warm room. The fine mist in the air becomes heavy on the glass, right? So, when the vapor gets up there in the cold region, they begin to cling together like they do on your glass, cold glass out of the refrigerator. They begin to cling together. So, the small pieces begin to cling together. What are they doing? Pure water.
Water responding sentimentally to the sun or to G-d is uniting. Yes, the little piece get together with another little piece and another little piece. After a while they get enough force to come down to earth and do a job. Yes, the divine mist begin to unite. They collect all together and they form enough weight. Well, we served our purpose. Our journey upward was to become pure and reach a goal that will enable us to unite. So, we reached our goal. We formed enough force so now let's go back down to earth and do our job. And here comes the raindrops. Then G-d says in His Holy Qur'an "And He sends the clouds.
The clouds are driven along the way. The wind is pushing them right? What is the wind symbolic of? Emotion. Emotion. Yes. The emotions. The human emotions. See, once we know we are right, once we know we got a good job to do, a job to save other human beings, there's an emotional force we get right? And many of us don't understand the program like the leader. We don't know it like the educator. But all we know is that the land is dry, the little flowers need water. The grass is parched and the sheep have to eat right? Okay. So, the emotions build up and all the fine mist go together in clouds, driven by the force of emotion. See once the Muslim know he's on the right track, then he builds up spirit. Spirit builds up. Then you get the force you need to push you on the way you have to go. Is that right? But it's a good spirit. It is the spirit of G-d moving it up. The spirit that He has affected us with is moving in our emotional makeup to drive us over where we have to go and we move along without battling like the birds. The bird does this to make it. We go along as roots.
The force of righteousness and love is moving us without any exertion. We don't feel any exertion. We feel as though we are being carried by something. In fact, sometimes you have to slow down. Now tell me now what better description can we give of this than the things that G-d has created in this universe. The clouds moving along, they're driving, driving on driven by the wind and it says that we drive them over a dry land, a dead land and We rain down water upon that land and the land soaks it up and We clad the earth with vegetation. Dress a bare land. Is that right? Land that was naked, bare.
You see? Alright so let me read again, the first line of this and we are going to continue. There's the likeness of the life of the present is that the rain which we send down from the skies by its mingling, arises the produce of the earth which provides food for men and animals. Now listen to this. What is G-d saying to us here? When I produce the right leaders and rain down the right spiritual and mental light, it is not just for the excellent creature, it is for the inferior creature too. I don't give just to the excellent creature. I give to the dog.
The snake can drink from my water, the dog can drink from my water, the rat drinks the same water, bugs, cockroaches, all of them get the same. That's G-d. But someone else get the precious knowledge and we limit it. We restrict it only to a precious few. Most are not fit for it. But did G-d say His good rain was just for the people living over the mountain or did He say it's for the valley, for the ditches, for the ratholes. That water goes everywhere. So, G-d is showing us how we can make this world good and beautiful. The only way to do it, we have to be obedient to divine law. We have to share with all of G-d's creatures. We have to have compassion on the worst creatures, the most inferior thing in the creation. We must have compassion on them and must share with them because they'll be our downfall if we ignore them. In time their species are going increase and their filth will increase, their ignorance will increase. If the world be populated by inferior creatures, what place will there be for the superior creature in time?
Now haven't we seen the great men on high who ruled in a guarded citadel, kept the inferior creatures and the ignorant out of their citadel? Haven't we seen their citadel fall from the top of the mountain. And all the other connected things that have happened to disgrace the government of America? Have we seen those things? The learning institutions, the pride of institutions where the Ivy Leaguers used to go. Very careful of the way they dressed, the way they speak. They were very careful of how they displayed themselves. We saw them dressed in sneakers and dungarees and just turn into savages. So, this is evidence, brothers and sisters, that civilized people cannot remain on the top, ignoring the masses. G-d will not let a special few, a protected few live and get the benefits from His creation and deny it to the rest of His creatures.
He'll not allow it. He'll bring them down in time. So, brothers and sisters, Allah is telling us that He doesn't deny the inferior creature, He doesn't slight the filthy creature. So why should we? He gives them all the chance to get the same benefit from the same purity, from the same strength. And with this they can evolve higher. But if we limit them to cesspools of filth and inferiority, they will never evolve higher. They will stay on their low plane. You see. Well now we are talking about society. That's what we are talking about tonight. And we are going to get to some mystery too.
So not only do you have the dark, you got a light. Sometimes the mist goes up and it runs into a cold area that's real cold. They call it quick change. It ran into a second very, very cold region and immediately formed the water into ice. Now this ice, when it forms, It hurts the young crop. Now look how powerful G-d is now. It would've been beautifully wonderful if the descriptive language of natural creation had just stopped where we started. But no, G-d said No. Some of them rise up to me. They managed to shed off their materialism and their selfism, but they become mystics.
They become mystics. And when they go back to society, the society says, "Oh, hold the light." So, they don't create growth, they kill the growth. Kill the growth. So, what happened to this beautiful thing that was growing? It was nipped in the bud. By what? We will all fall in hell. They just kill the group nipping the bud. Isn't that what the Catholics do to their people, those that really embrace that doctrine? Don't they nip them in the bud? That's why I say they are ice houses as we brought them. Ice houses, they freeze up the human nature.
See you got a ring there. Yes, but I'm married to Jesus. You got any children? What? They don't even say "Well I'm hoping." They don't believe that that'll happen again. There don't be no Mary will come again. I'm telling you, the most powerful mother in the church, she don't believe that's going to happen again. None of them say, "Well I'm wait on one. Maybe G-d will choose me like He did Mary." No, no, they don't expect that. But they got their ring on. And they come among us looking like a bunch of coal. Black clothes, black hood and black cape.
They went up there like a mist. They went up with the rest of the mist but they got up there and became mystic, couldn't get themselves back down. So, when they came back down, they wasn't natural. Ice. Now that ice can be in other forms too. Some people begin to think themselves so right, that they can't see that they're cruel to their brothers and sisters. Now sometimes the cloud comes up there and we have what we call lightning and thunder, right? Look how beautiful this is. We don't always have lighting thunder when it rains, right? Sometimes from the rain we didn't see no lightning and thunder. But sometimes, especially in certain seasons and warm hot seasons, loud thunder and bright flashes of lightning. Right? Okay, what is this symbolic of? The tornado in itself, it's symbolic of spiritual life and confusion, but it doesn't represent our spiritual life. It represents confusion. Now in our emotional makeup and in our spiritual makeup, aren't we like clouds? We are like clouds. It's light. It rises above the physical thing and it's light and it has the quietness like darkness. A quietness like darkness. But sometimes there is a need for light in the dark matter. We are spiritual and we are bothered by spiritual questions. We are bothered by a religious person, by a holy person. So now G-d gives us, shows us how that operates too.
The lightning flash. When the lightning flashes, it shows up the interior of the cloud, right? Lightning flash in the cloud and we can see into the cloud, Yes. Shows up the interior of the cloud. It shows it up like x-ray, internal x-ray or something, X-ray. The light flash and we see right? And the lightning goes away and rain comes down. You hear thunder, you see the lightning first, then you hear thunder, right? Yes. And that's the way it goes too. Light travels faster then sound. See when you hear a bullet from a gun, when you hear a bullet, when you hear a shot, pardon me, the bullet most likely have already reached it destination. Why? Because the bullet travels so much faster than sound.
So, when you hear the sound, the bullet already hit what it was going after. Most likely you have hit what it was aiming at when you hear the sound. But up there it's different. The light travels fast, light travels very fast, travels faster than sound and we can see the light from a distance. So, we see the light from a distance and we see the light before the sound and really they almost come at the same time. The lightning comes and it makes a vacuum. The extreme heat creates a vacuum and when the air comes back it rushes in to a small place.
And it's like that. They call it thunder peal. Is that right? And what does peal mean? Clap. Clap you see? And that's exactly what's happening. The air is pushed out by the extreme heat and then it comes back in to clap. When it comes back in, it rushes in and claps. It's like busting a bag that's full of air or paper bag or clapping your hands together. So, then we hear sound and then after that, what? Rain, right? So, we see the light in heaven, we hear sound in heaven and then the rain comes down to earth, right? What does this mean in the leadership? The leadership there, their struggling for understanding for life, struggling for production to produce, for production. They struggling for it. Light had to come first. See how G-d guides us. Light first. It took light to raise this thing up. It was a ball of light that lifted this up in the sky, that formed the cloud. Now folks are having these lights that flash up there in heaven before you can get the abundance of water that you need down here, right? We get the old light rains many times without a heavy flash of lightning and something. But when we get those heavy rains, it's because great light was seen in the heavens and a great noise was made after that.
Yes, sometimes there's lightning and no thunder. Well because that's been happening too far from us right? More likely it's happening too far from us. Or the right conditions haven't been created. So, something is missing. But when we hear lightning and thunder, very seldom is some place not rained upon. Usually someplace it's some rain. Is that right? And its heavy rain when it comes. Ok, now look at this. The light has to flash. There must be proper knowledge and intelligence that will light up the darkness. But there must be people agreeing to it. If nobody witnesses it, it will just go for nothing. A man come into our world and have the knowledge we need. But if none of us recognized it, nothing would ever happen in our society. But the lightning flash in the clouds of heaven and the thunder says "All Praise due to Allah." The heavens see the light. And then they say yes, yes, yes. Is that right? That's the thunder agreeing, bearing witness. Yes, the light has appeared.
So, there must be with the leader, some people who can support him in the leadership. A leader must have somebody with him. Prophet Muhammad had Omar, Ali, Abu Bakr. Prophet Muhammad had companions that were standing with him. That battled with him until the world could get some rain. Before the world got the rain, there was Abu Bakr, seeing the lightning of Prophet Muhammad and saying "All praises due to Allah." And Ali was saying "All Praise due to Allah." They was thundering out acknowledgement that this is the man and in time the world got the rain. Is that right? This is what Allah showed us, how we operate. And the Bible says "As the light me". It doesn't just say "As the light." Read it for yourself. It says "As the light me shineth out of the East even Unto the West, so shall coming of the Son of man." Not just light, but light me. Light comes from heaven all the way down to earth but lightning sometimes, it just breaches just in the heaven. It don't factor earth all the time. Sometimes it's just too strong for the earth to receive it. It'll hit the earth, it'll do damage. Knock down a tree or burn up something.
Can't you see the wisdom of G-d, that the wisdom of G-d is so much higher than the wisdom of man? Now men can talk, poets can write. When they heard the Holy Qur'an they said, "Oh this is poetry." Allah said to Prophet Muhammad, "This is not poetry." Said tell them that if they can write this, if it's something that men can do, say let the men get together, all the men and produce one verse like it. Let them call on the Jinn to accompany them. Men and Jinn come together. And let them produce one verse like it. It's still here in the book. And no one has come up yet and said, "I have a verse." Is that right?
They cannot produce it. Why? Because it has been produced by the Originator. What does Allah say in the Holy Qur'an? Says "I am He who originates and reproduce it. I have not created you to originate. I've only created you to reproduce. You cannot originate, you can only reproduce. But I am He that originates and produces. So that's who gave us this Holy Qur'an. It is Allah who originated creation. He made the earth, He made the sun, He made the water, he made the plants, he made the grass, the seeds, the flowers, every single thing. And the proof of it is that when He reveals His instructing knowledge, when we see His knowledge speaking to our intelligence, tells us about our nature, about our life, about how the world works. When we see Him speaking through these objects, we must bear with witness. "Yes G-d, you are the same one who made them. Only you would know what they should speak. Who else would know how these objects should speak to us other than the one who made those objects to speak like that to us? Don't think that any man can sit down and dream this up. Look, G-d guided that man because he was agreeable. He was peaceful, he was submissive . He was loving, responsive to G-d. And G-d guided him to see His message in the creation. Now let us move this. Now remember brothers and sisters, that we believe that Allah the Creator that did all this also showed us His knowledge in it. Showed us that what I did physically is a language I created to speak to you.
That should give you the peace and the courage to do whatever you must do as a Muslim. It should make you not weak and grow old. It should take all doubt from your heart. And to see how generous He is. To see how He helps the weakest in faith. How He says My justice is for all the sinners that are in here tonight. I don't care what crime you committed, you should be feeling that you want to get close to Allah. You should be feeling love for Allah. And if you felt that that's the help, that's the open door. That's all the help you need. That's the open door for success and salvation for you. All you have to do is keep moving in that direction.
Let me get my watch out. I want to watch the time. I don't want to hold you much longer. Maybe another hour? Probably half an hour. Now let's go to the board again. We have the word called devotion. DEVOTION, devotion. There's a song. "My devotion is deeper than any ocean." Yeah, that's the way the line goes in that song. "My devotion is deeper than any ocean." The one that wrote that song. He was inspired or he got some meaning from the Jachubites. Maybe he is one of the Jachubites. Fear. Fearful obedience. All of this is what we need to deliver ourselves. If we deliver ourselves for Allah, we have to fear His chastisement. We have to fear to displease Him. We have to love to obey Him. We have to be peaceful or comfortable with His orders. If He says live a certain way of life, we have to be comfortable and rest like water rest in the container that holds it right? Okay, so this is the nature.
But look at it eventually, the nature of water. As we showed you how it would be affected or addressed or influenced by the width of the heavens and by the length of the heaven, it responds and rises up to it. So, this devotional nature, it's the same with a leader. If G-d says get up and go, we go. But now look what happens when the water rises up. Allah don't want you to stay still in that ocean then. Why? The ocean is salty. And only a certain kind animal can live there. Those animals that like that type of water, right? They can stay there. Allah don't want them to stay there. Now where do we get this story? This is a message from where? It's in the story of Jonah in the verse, I read it from Jonah. The stories of Jonah say, Jonah was called by G-d to go to a big city that had become weakened. Ninevah.
But Jonah was kind of slow. He believed in G-d. But he was just one that was slow to get on the job. He thought he could do a lot of other things. I'll get there, but I'm going here first. So, Jonah got on a ship. With some merchants, and some other people. And Jonah was on the ship and he was just keeping company with other people so that he forgot about what he was supposed to do. And after awhile a storm came up and threatened the ship. And the men on the ship said, what happened? We're in trouble. G-d is not pleased with us. Something is wrong. Somebody on this ship, G-d ain't satisfied with.
They looked among themselves and they thought all them look natural. And when they looked at Jonah, he don't even look natural. Jonah look like he had done something wrong. They threw him out in the water. They threw him out in the water and a big fish swallowed him up. Alright. And that fish got sick. Got sick in his stomach. He didn't like Jonah being in there. So, he went on the shore and spit him up, spit him out on the dry land. Is that right? What is this telling us? It's telling us that G-d doesn't want the man, the leader to do his work, staying in the water. The wind drives the clouds to the places that needs the water. And the rain falls down on dry land. So now G-d is showing us in different language that we are not just talking about water. We are talking about people. That a man has to go to the land that needs the work. So, the scripture is describing the devotional, or the water like nature of the human being.
But rain can't go. The man has to go. You understand? And rain is just a sign to you man, what you supposed to do. But you supposed to get up yourself and go, don't stay in the water. Now here he was in a boat in the water. What does this mean? This is a society. A society that's living in water, or resting and traveling in water, right? Okay, so what are we talking about here? We talking about, the language is telling us that this particular society that's represented by the people on the boat was satisfied to live in the basic human nature, devotional nature of human beings, their business or whatever they were doing.
They conducted in a society that was just limited to that ocean nature or lake nature, water nature of the human being. The nature is to be obedient, understand? Be people agreeable and obedient. Now isn't that the society, a society that's not developed. It's on a low level of human development, but it becomes a satisfied people who are satisfied with that low level. And people come into our society and they do trading, right? They drown their vessel with riches. And here we are, a people with a peaceful and agreeable nature, right? If we see that ship come through this neighborhood down 47th Street, down Michigan Avenue, down 37th Street. They got the goods in there and they sitting there all the time, drinking, smoking, gambling, having a good time. Because the waters are peaceful. But if the wind starts blowing, the people on the ship get a little nervous. What does the wind mean? Means the peoples emotions rise up. They get disturbed and their spiritual nature starts stirring in them. What is happening, you see? And the winds of the human being starts blowing against the ship and the water. The emotions have disturbed our peaceful nature. And the waters start churning. And the people on the ship get a little nervous. So, the winds begin to rock the boat. If you begin to rock the boat, the people on the boat are going to save themselves, they're going to make a sacrifice. To save themselves, they'll make a sacrifice.
Who can we give to these people, society says. Well Jonah, he looks guilty and he looked like he did something wrong. He looked like he got to get off the cargo. He'd be a good one to give to these people. So, let's give them Jonah. Let's throw Jonah out of our society. That doesn't always happen like that. But the good man, they will begin to persecute as they get in trouble. Is that right? Throw him in the water. We don't really want him to enjoy the benefits of our boat, the benefits of our society, of our rich society. We are not going let him stay here, have this good job or let him ride in this comfortable place in our society. Kick him out into the water. But they began to persecute the good man. And they throw him out among the people. And that's where G-d want him. G-d don't want him locked up in the good society. But the man has to suffer. And isn't that the figure they give us in the Bible? How they are rejected by their own peers and how they have to go out lonely into wilderness? But they get so comfortable sometime. So, he's out in the water where he belong, but then a big fish swallowed him up. Now listen to this. I'm on my subject. I'm going to get to the mystery too. Let's move in the light. And then we can get enough light to shine in the darkness.
Okay. Now a big fish swallowed him up. What is the big fish? The whale. Now let's look at the whale. The whale is a big fish that doesn't chew his food. It just open his mouth and go like that rushing through the water. And everything that it comes into contact with it eats. Gullible. Now here is the religious mission that G-d wants to get started. Understand that Jonah being thrown off the boat represents the beginning of his mission. This is the beginning of a religious awakening. He fell into the water of the people. Into the peaceful, devotional nature of the people. And the big fish swallowed him. The gullible masses. But after while his teaching is too big for that government. You have to choose. This is a rational doctrine. You got some teeth. And this other one ain't got no teeth, it's just swallowing everything whole. This one you have to digest and understand bit by bit. Precept upon precept. Piece by piece. Line by line. Isn't that what the book says? Alright. And if he gets you to follow him, he'll have you convinced that the road to heaven starts with him. Or just count beads, dhikr. SubhanAllah, Allhamdulilah. But let you stand up and say the land needs developing. "I don't want to worry about that. All I know is Jesus, I'm going to stay in my church. They sing and they beat the tambourine. We happy. You go on." Right? So, after time, this mission got to get out of the bag of emotional people.
So, in time, the movement of truth has to be moved away from emotional people. It must be moved towards a rational people. A people that need to move out of the water of emotions and plant their feet firmly on dry land, rational teachings. Youd don't want to wallow in the water, the land is where you need to be. The land needs to water. So, Jonah was set out upon the land. The Bible doesn't say this, but the Holy Qur'an expresses it in a way that's designed to present this with the best understanding. it says that a small gourd grew over him. So here is the beginning of growth on the land. On the land is growing a plant. So, the man has to be put out on the land. And once he is put out on the land, he will be the one to grow the new life.
Human moral nature, or the moral strength of a society- Where does it come from? Does it come from our knowledge first or does it come from our water nature first? Water nature. A human being becomes moral in his obedient nature, his devotional nature, his emotional nature, his sentimental makeup. This is where he becomes moral. He doesn't like to do it. Why? It's cruel. This is a moral person, right? This is a moral person. So, this moral person develops out of the water nature of the human being. So, the land needs morals. The land needs morals, A land, without morals is a dead land. You follow? Now this is not what mama taught us. This is what Allah has taught us. The land needs morals to live. Without it, it will die. That means everything on the land. Allah says in the Holy Qur'an: "His Throne was first upon the water. His Throne was first upon the water." What is a throne? A throne is a government. Kingdom, government. It represents government. So, G-d is saying His Throne was first upon the water. Meaning that in the beginning of the rise of people. Civilization. The first government is a moral government. Moral government. So, what is this they tell us that the first government is a immoral government? This is not true. The first government is a peaceful government. Where does it come from? It comes from the heart. Family. Good neighbors. One family needs to support another family. Do you think you can get one family to support another family by being evil? Do you find good neighbors with ugly treatment? Good neighbors are found with good treatment. And a society grows because of kind treatment between families. The first government is a kind government. And that government has a daddy. The chief is the daddy over the tribe. Is that right? The chief is over the tribe.
What does G-d call Abraham? A father for all nations. And the Holy Qur'an shows us, gives us the true history of the rise of civilization. The man is first a ruler of people who respond to him in their moral makeup. They want to have a loving society. They want to have peace. They want to have good treatment among themselves. They want somebody to represent the leadership for that, to keep them in that order. To see that no one upsets that order or breaks the rules or turns society into a hellish society. Isn't that right? So, G-d says that His Throne was first upon the waters. G-d is telling us that My way is moral strength. Government is supported by moral strength. I want to see a government supported by moral strength. And look at water. It doesn't look like it can support anything. But the man builds a ship capable of carrying great weight. And fills it with hundreds of tubs. Put it out on the water and the water supports it all. Is that right?
So moral force is the force we need to hold society up. To keep government up. To keep society up. Without a moral force in the society, the White House cannot stand too long. Let me tell you something. We hold whole the world up here with the work we are doing. And if the whole world falls, we're going to stand. If you hold on to Allah, keep your faith and keep moving in this fashion, I guarantee this will stand. I guarantee you we won't fall. Yes. Allah is with us if we are with Him. And if we strive to become stronger and stronger every day, we will become strong enough to hold up the whole thing, See, when Allah begins creating a thing, the world don't see it. I'll understand that it does creating a faith. They don't see it. The baby that's growing right now, in the sisters belly, can we see it? We only see a sign that something is growing. The stomach is just pushing out. We can't look and see what kind of eyes it got. And after it comes out of the mother, then an invisible power begins to grow.
The first one, you can see it with your eyes but G-d hid it from you with the belly of the mother. You can't see the devotional nature. You can only see signs of it. You say, "I believe that boy is going to be a good person by the way he is acting in this situation." I believe he is going to be a morally responsible person by the way he acts with a moral discipline." But we don't know, do we? We have to wait and see. This is how G-d operates. The germ that is growing. When it first starts growing, we can't see it. A biologist has to take a microscope and look. And many times he can't even see it. Who sees the germs that Allah is creating in His world? We don't see it. That's the way of Allah's doing. The work of building a new society is going on. But all they see is that those people are pregnant. But it must be big because they got big heads and big hearts. But they don't know what's growing. And one day they look up and say "Good G-d Almighty, that's a manchild growing." Yes. And they begin to respect us more and more and after awhile, they'll see that their social sciences can be rewritten correctly by the knowledge that we're giving you right here. That psychology can be rewritten in a real and powerful and effective way. And it can be greenlighted by all that we are giving to you here right now. But it's going to take time for them to see these things.
Now let's go on. Time is passing. It's almost 9:30. Some of them like plants, some of them like plants, and some of them like trees, right? All kind of plants. They build houses, right? Build our houses. From the wood of the trees, right? Everything from these trees right here. Even animals eat certain things. Alright? Now the animal eat this, right? These little pieces, you find seed growing all over the Earth. The water feeds the earth and the plants. The animals eat the plants. So where does it start? Water. So, if you want to build society correctly, it has to start out as a society built on a moral base.
The earth is going to provide for you all the things that you need. Wood, ivory, etc. Now's a primitive look at the growth of society. But look at modern society. Is it any different? No. Man makes the tools to be the animals. And make men, women to be the animal. He doesn't need animals. Or he got the machines. And where did he get it from? The same. He used metal, right? He used stone. He used steel. He used all of these things. But look, even though a man comes into the iron age from the stone age, he still has to depend upon water. Water is very important. They cannot produce steel without water.
But really the steel is not so important. The steel is building high skyscrapers. But man doesn't need steel to build these houses. We can be satisfied. In fact, the best houses are not those skyscrapers The home that the human being is comfortable in is the one that is made out of bricks. So, you can't see that house, you can't see it. That's the first house and still the best house for man. But when you start building these houses in a town, and you don't have room for them, you start stacking them up. Do you think the steel is the best? No. The steel starts to corrode after awhile. Homes built out of mahogany and oak last a lot longer.
But all of these steel buildings and homes need water in order to produce what we need. He keeps building up all of these things but he always has to come back to water.
He wants to keep building and growing society. This is the nature of intelligence. The nature of intelligence is to grow, right? And the nature of the land is to grow. But it must have moral essence, moral essence. Moral substance. Without moral substance, the intelligence won't grow. It will deform the land. It won't grow the things we need to advance the life. It will produce things that will choke out the life. Weeds, crabgrass, etc.
Look. If the rain feeds the land, grows the society, then the devotional nature, the obedient nature of the human being will grow. And this will allow man to grow to the highest level of their moral development. And when the water hits the land, it's going to start growing things. If man builds ten homes, he's not satisfied. He wants to build a hundred homes. Now if the water is feeding the land, growing the society, than man can make excellent advancement. Its all symbolic of the moral life contained within the human being. And the water that counts is the water that is most useful. G-d took Jonah out of the water because it was time to build a moral society. What does G-d say? I created you to be the leader. On the land, building and developing. I made you to be the leader of everything.
Can't you see why they had to kill the true religion? Don't you see? Now how come they like to kill the true Christ? How come they had to stop the true movement of G-d? G-d made man to be the leader. Of agriculture, industry, government, you are the leader of everything. And if you lead the whole society, you won't be limited to just spiritual exercise. He wants us to raise the intelligence of the people. They need to get busy in banking, transportation, international trade, medicine. This is what G-d wants us to do. But who does it start with? G-d says it starts with my moral man.
Chief Minister, Imam, are you drunk? Are you telling us we need to take over the government? No. The rain doesn't take over the government. It feeds the governmental life. I am telling you we need to raise people that are qualified enough, strong enough, intelligent enough to take those positions when they become vacant. We don't have to knock anybody out of those positions. But if we are not raising people to take those positions when they become vacant, then we are ignoring our responsibility to the world. You going to let Caucasians fill up those spots, take over the responsibility of guaranteeing us a future? What's in your head? What the hell are you good for? Brothers and sisters, we are not living up to our religion, we are not being responsible for our religion if we don't step into these roles which propel us forward to make our contributions to the growth and development of society.
This is what G-d wants from us. Presidency comes open, we should have someone ready to fill that position. "Oh nigger, we can never get there." How do you know? That's that slave mindset. Slave, get up. Pessimistic mindset. "We gonna fail. We can't make it. They'll never let us." You have given up before you even get started. You won't get anywhere. That's giving up before you fight. Brothers and sisters, G-d has shown us how He wants us to grow our life up. And what He wants us to be. He wants us to grow up out of our natural nature, and fill the world. The water doesn't stay in the ocean. It comes onto the land and it covers the land. Go and look at the bare land and check out the moral life that has evolved out of it. See its beautiful grass, it's beautiful trees and shrubbery. It's beautiful vines and fruits. All of that puts you in the mind of Paradise. And the Holy Qur'an says that "Paradise shall be clothed with heavy, thick green foliage. Is that right? All life is going to come out of that rational development. The intelligence shall produce abundantly. I came to give you life and give it to you abundantly.
Alright, so now let's get some understanding. Now can you see why they had to kill the true religion? Had to kill the true Christ? How come they had to stop the true movement of G-d's religion? Because that movement is to lead the whole world. And the crooked people don't want to see no G-d's man lead the whole world. But the only way it's going to be led right is to have it led by a G-d fearing man. A man who will accept G-d's guidance, a man with a good enough heart and conscience to receive G-d's truth as it was revealed in the natural world. That's the only way it's going to happen.
So now we have culture. Ah man, it's ten minutes to ten. The society starts in the obedient nature, the devotional nature. And it carries the good human nature to the natural mind. Intelligence begins to feed on it and the intelligence can grow a whole world from this food. When the earth is clad or dressed in the foliage and the trees and the grass and everything, it's like a Princess dressed up in her beautiful gown. In her choice robe, in her choice slippers, in her beautiful gown. The real precious crown with all the beautiful jewels. That's how the earth look when the rain gets through.. Alright, so in providing for our needs, Allah also beautifies us. With the trees, and the wood we need to build our home. And the tools, to build our furniture. The paper is there, the tractors are there. So, everything is there, but also our purity. So, G-d is also telling us that He is the one who feeds our cultural development. With the inspiration of G-d as its source.
The culture must be supported by the same. So, a serpent caused Adam and Eve to take off their dress. So, G-d says to her, "Who told you, you were naked?" In the Genesis G-d says, "Have you eaten of that tree I prevented you? So, what does this mean? Because he had went to that one tree that G-d had prevented him from eating from. So, this is talking about that one tree that He said "Do not eat of it." Just that one tree right? In the midst of the garden. So, what does this mean? This is talking about that one tree that He said "Do not eat of it." What is G-d telling us here? He is saying that just as the water feeds the good life, it also feeds that snake too. It feeds the demons too. And he will take my moral teachings, my moral revelation, my G-d inspired teachings, and he will build for himself a corrupt society. Tree right there among society. Don't go into that corrupt society. And dress yourself up in that culture. You will call yourself dressed but you will be naked. So, Adam and Eve thought they were dressed.
But G-d said, "Who told you, you were naked? You were dressed before. And where do they tell us the big tree was put? On the land. Over their private parts. So here is a culture that has focused it mind upon sex. So now you're eating from that particular society that makes sex the big trouble or the big blessing for man. They make sex our wrath and also our salvation, don't they? Yes. They say sex got us in trouble and staying away from sex is our salvation. So, they make sex the power of human society. Sex got them in trouble. And Jesus father, not touching Mary, got us out of trouble. So, look at the fig tree. What does it look like? Now, I don't want to be too descriptive. One fig look like the male testicle. And the fig got a whole lot of seeds in it. And the male testicle got a whole lot of seeds in it too. Science tells us that when a woman gets impregnated, a whole lot of seeds are released, but only on makes it to the egg. So that's why they use that fig tree. It's symbolic of the human testicle. The Jews said that G-d said to them, that the seed of Abraham, and that He was going to make their seed numerous, like the sands of the sea. You open a fig tree and its seeds are numerous. That's why they selected the fig tree. So, the Jew picked that tree to bolster his stock. G-d is going to make us the inheritors of the earth. We are going to become more productive than any other people. But look at them. Look at them closely. They are a very intelligent and shrewd people. Look at them closely now. They don't multiply like that physically. In fact most of them, they tend to keep their families down. That's not the kind of multiplying they are talking about. They talking about multiplying control. That's why in the first instance, they're told that their seed would be like the stars. What are stars? What does that mean? Light. Wise people, wise people in the leadership. At first you have to get the people in leadership, get developed people in the leadership. You're going to get the leadership. Next you get the people who are water. They're not the fans of the seashore. The sands are not as compact as the sands of the seashore. The fans of the seashore are all together. Billions and billions and billions. Meaning that now, once you get the leadership, you're going get the ignorant masses. What masses will you get? Those at the seashore. Those who have little social development, little societal development. That's what it means. Little social development. See that sand at the seashore, it shows no cultural development, no industrial development. You ever see a big tree growing by the seashore? If you do, move by the seashore. But nothing of value grows there. No development. So, it means you will get the silly, stupid masses.
They have no industry. No cultural development. All planned by the leadership. Can't you see a wicked plan here? Now can you see why the Holy Qur'an leaves this out? You won't find in the Holy Qur'an where the sea shall be by the sand. Your sea shall be by the feet. It's not even in the Holy Qur'an. The things that were inauthentic, the things that were carrying the unclear message, they were left out of the Holy Qur'an. It's a pure book, carrying a clear message for peoples salvation, not a book carrying a plot along with G-d's message.
Now brothers and sisters. G-d is showing us that even our culture must have the moral support of the people. The moral strength, the moral goodness of the people. We must refine human morals. That means lift them up in the rain, lift them up in the mist. And rain them back down on the people, on society, so we can grow what society needs. Even the culture is to be fed this way. If your dress is not formed by decent, moral principles, your dress is going to be shameful. If your homes that you built, if they don't respect all principles, those good, decent and moral principles, your homes are going to be indecent, don't you see? Don't you know some homes that they are building now are not decent. You that they are getting away from putting up curtains in the home now?
They just got a big window open. Yes. Just a house full of silly minded people. Walking around in a nude gown, prancing by the big picture window. Decency gone. This is G-d showing. If you can see the by the light that we have discussed tonight, you have all you need for what G-d wants you to do. Yes. G-d wants us to keep the right light in the society from the bottom to the top. He wants us to keep good morals and decency. He wants to keep divine guidance in the society. Respect for intelligence.
Respect for human sentiments. Respect for human kindness, the sentiments of the human heart. Have respect for that. Respond to it. That's the response. It's not just the light. It's really is not the light. What draws the water up into the light? Warmth. If you get rain in your town brothers and sisters, it's because the clouds have brought some water from some warm area. You understand? You don't get light from just water. The mist has to be carried from where it comes from to where you are. The moisture just has to be heavy enough to form drops.
We need it. We have to have that. So, we keep that. We keep that. We keep the devotional nature of the human being, the emotional nature of the human being. Thank Allah He put fear in you. Don't teach your child not to be afraid of anything. Teach them to be brave and courageous and strong. If you see something that is not safe, or something is going to explode, get away. G-d put that fear in you for a reason. Learn to live to fight another day. You might have to retreat today, but there is always tomorrow.
He was saying retreat today, fight tomorrow because we got a better opportunity. They are at an advantage today, but we will be in position to have the advantage tomorrow. Allah has not put these things in our nature for nothing. Cultivate the fear because everything that G-d has given us is for our good. Don't get rid of the fear. If we do this, we will have the best society. We will develop the strength to lead the society.
I want to go down quickly. Let me erase the board again. We are almost finished now. We will be out of here shortly. The Bible says that four rivers went out of the garden. And it also says that four creatures came out of the earth. What is this talking about? The four rivers went out of the garden. What is the garden? The garden is the ocean. The garden is the devotional nature. So, man when out of that state. Movements of the human nature. Four rivers.
There you have four rivers. This is a man devoted to G-d. He was obedient to G-d. But then he went out of that state. What are these four rivers? Four motivations. The human nature had started to give himself to the wrong thing. Look at our society today. You can see the four. Education, politics, culture and economics. So, if you look at the society, all of us are motivated by at least one or more of these things. All these material interests come under the banner of economics. Dress, style, fashion. All of this comes under culture. Education is taking care of all the knowledge pursuits. Politics seeking power in the land.
So, religion, as it is given, can raise the whole life. Abraham gave the whole life to the people. Moses gave the whole life to the people. But when it comes to Jesus, they killed Jesus. They give you him and want you to yearn for nothing for spiritual life. And the Satan, he attacks the nature of the people. And his plan is to take over the world. The society is broken up pursuing all of these different things not for the benefit of mankind but for the benefit of themselves. They changed it in the Bible. Daniel says it one way, Ezekiel says it another way. But they both give you three creatures and a man.
So now lets look at it. You got the lion. Who was the lion? Lion is the lovers of power. Lion represents rule and strength. His voice is a discipline in the jungle. When he roars out, even creatures that can whip him start shaking. The lion represents the strength and power of government. Strong government.
Now we come to the bear. What does he represent? He represents the wild members of society. He don't have no finesse. He just drop in on you. He'll take your leg and eat it. What does the bird represent? It should represent spiritual vision. But in this scheme, it doesn't represent that. See the bird, he has good, pinpoint eyes. Especially the eagle. And he goes up so high that he can see the whole ground scene at one time. So, it represents vision and that's intelligence. They have to get the intelligent people to rise up high above the people so they get the leverage. Vision is expanded, the intelligence is expanded far beyond the average person, far beyond the people. So, it represents the rise of intelligence where you have power, you have intelligence, you have the wild forces, and then you have the man. Who is the man? The religious authority. Man represents the religious authority. Those who have the knowledge of the scheme. That's the Jachubites big chief. Satan. And his helpers. That's the man. Should be Christ. Or should be the Prophet. But it's not. It's Satan. The book tells us in several places-Rejoice not, Oh Palestine. Because out of the surface root, comes a flying serpent. Isn't Ezekiels wheel a fiery, flying object?
You have to get these hints to know what they're talking about. You have to be able to compare the picture and see the hints. The resemblance there, to see the likeness. And the fire stands for rational knowledge. The knowledge in the vison of the bird is worldly knowledge, world vision. And these terms need discussion. When I say world vision, this means that the leader takes in all knowledge. The President must have world vision. He must be able to know what business is doing, what politics is doing. He must have world vision. So, the bird represents world vision. Who has world vision? G-d gave world vision to man. Satan stole world vision. The Holy Qur'an says "They wanted to steal a hearing in the heavens." And in mythology they say that he stole the heavenly fire. Prometheus is his name. And the Bible says that the thief brought fire down from heaven. So, all of this is talking about the same thing. Stealing the rational knowledge from G-d's Prophets. That's where he got it from. Now we know fire is made in the Earth. We have fire coming from volcanoes, the lightning strike and set the forest on fire. So, what is this talking about, stealing fire? Stealing fire means that somebody is taking something that didn't belong to them.
So, the Satan world took the divine teachings and built his world with it. And his worldly scheme is to take the teachings and put them over your head where you don't understand them. Now Master Fard came and said that there was a Mothership. And that it would come and save us when the final judgement comes. Said when the final judgement comes and this world is about to be taken, the Mothership is going to send out ships to come and take us up to our own world. So her is Master Fard now, using this same Ezekiels wheel terminology to form the kind of thing that he was doing. Teachings that are much above your head. Told you don't you worry, when the world gets in trouble, you will be saved. All you have to do is know the greeting. They will say "As Salaam Alaikum." And ships will come and drop leaflets and invite you to join your own kind. And on the ships are people of different colors. Black, brown, red, and yellow. Now look at this-Black, brown, yellow and red. What does the black stand for? The bear. Yes. It means the ignorant masses who could be made wild. What does the red stand for? Blind passion, vicious, wild. Yes, that's the red. Red means blood spilling, fired up with flesh passion. Then you have the yellow. Yellow means wisdom. Brown is really a combination of two.
It would mean that this person is moderate. So, he would be the ideal person. So, if you have red, which means passion. So all of this together represent the ideal man. Red also represents social development. So this yellow means knowledge, wisdom. And black is color that means fertile. And if you don't have that, you are not good for anything. So these colors, brown then, should represent the ideal man. So we have the four colors. Black, brown, yellow and red. And he taught us that all the races were going to come together and kill the white man. So on the island of Japan, they got together and made this ship. And they were going to come and destroy the white man. But why no white on this ship? Because it reprents purity and it also represents the absence of color. He wasn't interested in purity, he wanted knowledge. And you can't get no white in people without color. White is the corruption. So you have to have yellow-Knowledge. So if you have a leadership that accepts it don't know everything, they are fit to lead. Said that the four creatures were up there and would come down and destroy the evil world. Ignorance breeds filth, corruption. And if you are going to lift the people up, what do you have to introduce them to? Knowledge. In fact, you would do it better with brown because it contains all of the colors.
So, we are talking about the ship as well as the bombs that were on there. The drill, the poison gas, and the fire that would set the atmosphere on fire. All of this is symbolic. So now I am going to show you what Master Fards method was. He was using fire against fire to overcome what the Jachubites did. They called us black and inferior, he called them white and inferior. He called them so-called white. Yakub grafted devil, skunk of the planet earth. He told them "You call yourself white, you are not pure." You are a skunk of a grafted type. What is a skunk? A skunk is an animal that defends himself by offending the one that attacks it. He is shameless. Attacker attack him he shoot some funk on him. That's the Jachubite. He don't pick up weapons of war, he don't fight physically. He throw out some stink on them. They destroy the society by shooting out some filth and corruption. Spirtual corruption, moral corruption. Lovers of male by male. Sex mixing between females. A romance with the physical body. Worship of the sex organs. Animalism. All these things to degrade the society. The rejection of natureal sex. All of this is said right to you in your religous principles. They have made this world wild. The word democracy is beautiful when you first look at it. But they have destroyed the society with it as they say that this allows us to experiment with all types of corruption and filth. Free to do whatever you want to do. The word suggest intelligence, development. See how they have used the subtle language to destroy society?
So Master Fard, he reversed the psychology. You not natural man, you a grafted man. They called us inferior, subhuman. He called them unnatural, subhuman. "You are not made from the strength of people, you're made from the weakness of people." And when you tested it and applied it to the mindset that they were using, it is correct. They did mix filth with filth, weakness with lies to create the world they wanted. So here is a catergory that can be interperted like Dr. Gullivers travels to explain how the world became the way it is. So this language was used to poin to the fact when you truly understand what is happening here, you can't come up with anything else but a devil. This language is loaded with dynamite to blow the world up. You keep mixing the worst of the human being with the worst of the human being, you can't create nothing else but the devil. And that's what they did. Loaded that devil, armed that devil with deceitful teachings. So if anybody try to tell me that Master Fard was wrong, they don't know what they are talking about. They simply don't know how to read the allergories of Master Fard. He described them perfectly. But what you have to understand now was that it was not a physical flesh devil they made, it was a mind. And Master Fard had in his lessons a key. And if you open your eyes up, you will be able to see.
But once you open your eyes up, he has somethng there that will give you understanding. He says that he grafted them from the original by taking from the the original and mixing the brown from the black, mixing the brown with the yellow and eventully developed the pure white race. Or Caucasian or pure white. But he in his own language, and I have others here with me that can bear witness. He didn't call them white originally, he called him the colored man. Or Caucasian, so called white. I got plenty of witnesses in here. Now brothers and sisters listen to this. If he called him white in one language, and didn't call him white in the other language, then what does this mean? He's white and he's not white. So when he says he grafts him through different stages, the white he's talking about is not the white of skin color. The lepers were not allowed to come into the holy places. It's talking about the corrupt morals. If you got corrupt morals, morals should be pure. But if your morals have disease in them, if you're corrupted by this disease, you are to be rejected by the religous leadership. That's what it means. Leprosy in the Bible means the disease of morals. You see. So what Master Fard is telling us in the grafting is that this grafting has produced the disease of immoral leadership.
Now dear beloved brothers and sisters. Don't expect to see a ship, a physical ship, flying out there in the sky. Now I know many have said, "I saw it." "I got up at 3:30 in the morning and I saw it" At that time of the morning, you should see something. As long as you are in your bed when you see it. And I am telling you I saw it. It appeared, went straight across the sky and disappeared. Now i don't know what that was, but it was not the Mothership. The Mothership is not a physical ship, the Mothership is the doctrine. The doctrine that rules the world, and the doctrine that destroys the world. And Fard said just before the end of the world, the ship will come down to take us up. And the Jachubite ship, it won't come down because they plan to rule from up above.
Now, Master Fard took advantage of the time and used that description because it was in the year 1930 I believe when Canada reported a flying ship over Canada. They said that the ship appeared to be so big, it looked like a city coming down out of the sky. This was recorded by the Canadian people in 1930.
I believe it was 29 or 30, I'm almost sure it was 1930. Now what I'm telling you here can be checked. All you have to do is go to Canada and to tell them you want issues from 1930 and you can go through the whole year and check all the papers. And you can check this. This actually happened. In fact, my father had a piece of the paper at home, he kept it for a while, with that message, with that headline in there. It was big news. I don't know whether the government or the army supported it, but it was certainly big news. And that the people say they saw it. And in the United States there have been many reports of people seeing unidentified objects in the sky. Many reports. And as I told you, just a few minutes ago, I myself saw a star moving in the sky. I don't know what it is. They say it's an illusion. They're given a lot of reasons for it. They say it all, but they didn't explain all of it out of existence.
So, to tell you the truth, I didn't feel it. I didn't hear nothing popping. I didn't get no strange feeling, but I don't think I was asleep. And I did see it moving. Now I don't know what it is brother than sisters, but I do know what the Holy Qur'an says. He says that there are things that are created that you know, and things that you know not. So it doesn't surprise me, they don't surprise me if something out there is existing flying around. Ships flying around. Maybe they have more intelligence than we have. I don't know. Maybe they just dumber than we are. I don't know. We're talking about things we don't know. And Allah doesn't ask us to give our intelligence to the things we don't know. I'm not supposed to give my intelligence to something, I don't know. But I do know that that was recorded in the paper and Master Fard took off from Ezeikels wheel and he had the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his Ministers at that time draw a picture of a wheel and teach from it. And the Honorable Elijah Muhammad did this almost up until the his very last years. In the sixties I think he even did it. Yes, he did it up until the very last years almost. He used to have it drawn on the board, have somebody go up to the board, draw it in chalk. He even had one brother paint it on the board, Brother Yakub Allah.
Yeah, he drew in paint on the board, had it drawn in paint. And he had the men in the center of it, looking like they were handling some type of controls. And it had openings all around the perimiter, looking like garage doors opening up. It didn't all go together. The ship looked like something new, but the planes looked like some World War II looking planes. And they were going out and coming in. Coming out of the openings. And he had it written on the board, "Ezekiels Wheel."
Now I know theres some in here that are still in the water. And I mean deep in the water. They didn't hit the land yet. Ain't nothing started growing yet. Now, just think about this now. If he said this was a physical plane. If that's the meaning, it's a physical plane. And he said that every so often, It had to let it's tube down into our atmosphere. And gas up. The one part of our atmosphere is up there now. They use it, for industry. The one part is taken up there. So if they dropping their tubes now, I think they ready to come from up there. Unless they found some way to clean up the pollution they taking in up there. But let me tell you something else. They must have discovered a long time ago, a way to clean up the pollution. Because if you keep people up there for that long, and they are human like we are. And I ain't seen them dump nothing down there. Can you imagine how much stuff must be up there on that wheel? And how they getting water?
They have something to get rain way up there? Science says don't no rain fall way up there. Forty miles out in space. No, Master Fard said the highest raindops are only six miles in the air. So they done went up above the water. So what they drinking up there? They rerouting it? I know they talking about rerouting it down here. They must have discovered how to reroute it up there. I can understand them living out of the atmosphere, but how you gonna live without food? Without water? Without a dumplace. Where you gonna dump all that stuff at? And to live that long without being in contact with anyone on the physical earth.
He didn't say they communicate occasionally. They don't come down an visit. They come down here their eyes will pop out. They see New York, their eyes will pop out. They'll forget their name. So please understand we were given a childs story. But once you become a man, you leave those childish stories behind.
So, it couldn't be physical. And scripture tells us that this idea came from scripture. It didn't come from Japan, it came from scripture about 4500 years ago. And the form that you are reading it in now, about 600 years ago. This idea of a wheel, right now you find the religous people in their high knowledge meetings, sitting around in a circle. Didn't the Honorable Elijah Muhammad used to tell us, "Don't get out the circle." And where was that circle. Up in the sky? No, it was down here on earth. And if you did wrong what did they tell you-"We gonna put you out of the circle." "If they keep doing these things, we gonna put them out of the circle." So he called his society a circle. And what is a circle but a wheel. The Jews, when they sit down for their secret discussions, they sit down in a circle. We don't do it here in the World Community of Al Islam in the West. But the Muslims, when they sit down for Taleem, they sit down in a circle.
So, this is the wheel. It's a community of wise people rising above the people to rule them above their heads. Ruling them out of their sight. And this is the great message. This is the powerful message. When you can show how the world has been made wrong. And how a wicked mind has taken over and dominated the world. And made people into a form that G-d did not make them in. And then show them how knowledge comes again, and reveal the tricks of the devil, the tricks of the Satan and undo his scheme. And come with a mighty plan to make the world over again. The modern technology they got now, they can send something out there and incinerate it before it hits the ground.
And you won't be able to hear no loud blast. Maybe ten years ago you might hae heard a loud blast. But with the loudness of this rock music they be playing now, you won't hear no loud blast. The Mothership come with a loud blast, you start doing the camel and the hump. Start thinking it's some ancient rock group.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said "You are a baby Nation." And he would tell those who would come around and criticize him, "This is a baby Nation." What he was telling them don't expect them to know the things you know. They are not ready for it. This is a baby Nation. I disagreed with Master Fard and I told him to his face. I think he underestimated the intellligence of our people. If he had appeled to us on a higher level of our intelligence, he could have done a much greater work in a much shorter time. If he head put it in intelligent language, it would have attracted the higher minds among our group. And he didn't have to reveal it all. But he could have made his allergory more intelligent. The average on of us, when we caught up with what he did, we felt belittled. And we were. And he didn't hide he was belittling us. Calling our women Muslim girls.
I never liked that. Calling my mother Muslim girl. My mother ain't no girl. She was 50 something years old, calling her girl. I used to ask my father that. "Why we call the sisters girls when their women." I asked him to change it but he refused. "That's the way it was given to me, so this is how it is to be taught." I didn't mean to be that sensitive but you will never grow up until you face the fact. He had a double purpose, just like the Jachubite. Always had a double purpose. The purpose was to take the authority from the women and give it to the men. The FOI. The Fruit Of islam. Training men. But you, Muslim girls. What was he doing? The same thing the Jachubite was doing. Divide and conquer. Take the men away from the women. And take the women away from the men. So the women wouldn't be influecing the men, and the men would have a more serious job to do. Didn't give them much disrespect. "Sister, please don't say you'll kill me." See I treat my wife like she the most innocent human being on earth. i demand respect, but marriage is a partership. And if she don't respect my half of that partnership, she can fly the coop.
Now we know that we were given the mind that the woman was simply someone to produce babies. Brother get married, he start talking like this-"Brother, you ain't get married yet? You must not be producing no seed. Don't you know we have to produce the seed brother." We had to have sons because we need to raise future Fruits, or FOI.
So, brothers and sisters, let us thank Allah that He did not leave us at the mercy of Master Fard. Thank Allah, I repeat that He didn't leave us lonely and at the mercy of Master Fard. Be thankful that He guided one. And that's me. Don't be mad that he tricked us. Thank Allah that he guided me to see the light in order to bring us into the full light of Al-Islam. His tricks helped us to get where we are now. He wanted to get a job done. He knew that the Caucasian had broken the man down. So he slighted the woman to get to the man. So Master Fard, everything he did was in reverese. But he told you to do your job now. He gave you the rules. How to cook, sew, how to keep house. How to act at home and abroad. That's Master Fard. That's the man we're going to pay tribute to Ethnic Survival Week. Along with some other giants. Master Fard, Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
So, we hope to give that picture. And Master Fard was unique among them. His way was different. He hit home. He hit home. He saw that the problem wasn't Black Nationalism. Black Consciousness. The problem was religion. He saw what the probelm was. It was in religion. And who was it, Dr C. Eric Lincoln I believe. He said the only instiution we had was the Church. Freedom Movement, everything, comes right out of the Church. If not right out of the Church pulpit, at least the Church environment. It comes from Church influence. So he nailed it right. Dr Lincoln nailed it right. Our whole life can be described as one big Church.
And Master Fard saw that. Said the only way you can get these people to rise up and do the great things of other civilized societies was to break the religous hold the Church had on us. That's what he set out to do. He set out to break the religous hold that this society had on us. Jesus. Their heaven. Everything. He set out to break that. And he broke that. he broke it for the few that he got. And he started a new society with that. But now to build, you need clear minds. We tear down in the dark. Say hey, we want to tear this block down. So you don't need light to tear down. But you need the light to build up.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that Master Fard was a crusher. His main job was to crush this world. Not physically. But the mentality that was produced by it. That was his work. To crush White Supremacy and all the evil children that it bred. And now it's time to build up. But we can't build up with Yakubs history. You can teach that until your tongue fall out. I'm telling you. You can teach it until your tongue fall out. And you'll be right here with ten or fifteen people listening to you. They'll be saying "teach, teach, teach." And the people won't get anywhere.
We have history as proof. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad realy didn't start making any progress until he put down the lessons. As long as he had everybody reading the lessons, we stayed small, small houses and garages. We didn't do nothing bit. But as soon as he started teaching from his mouth, he started getting people together. So what does Imam Farrakhan have to tell me? I got history supporting me. I got the divine wisdom supporting me. I got the right minds of the religous world supporting me. And I got the power of natural human force supporting me. What does that say? And they can't argue. They don't have the intelligence to argue with me. They know they'll be defeated before they even get started. You got some of them home saying, " I don't care nothing about what he say. I don't follow him. You got them right around me. "Don't pay him no mind. It's going to run it's course."
And then there's some sitting around saying, "Allah didn't bless him with nothing. I can tell you where he got it from." But it could be something that you already know. Trying to tell the people "There is no G-d." It's only us. But it's no the religous people that's giving me a hard time. It's those that think they have found a way to escape judgement. They think that Master Fard Muhammad and The Honorable Elijah Muhamad gave them a way to escape the final judgement. They say "Wallace been telling us that we have to account for our time here. That we can't escape the judgement. The Honorable Elijah Muhamamd told us tha once we die here, there is nothing else. That's it and that's all I'm going to believe. Because I don't wanna have to face any judgement." Brothers and sisters, don't let them deceive you. Just watch them. See if they grow and prosper. See if they are being empowered. Or are we going to be empowered. They might get power, but it won't be the power they want. As Salaam Alaikum.
Takbir!! Allahu Akbar. Takbir! Allahu Akbar. Takbir! Allahu Akbar.
