2006 The Mosque Cares Convention
Pt 2

By Imam W. Deen Mohammed
Take up the responsibility right where the other left it. And keep traveling the road until the mission is finished and the guidance is left clear and complete for all people, for all mankind. This importance on inheritance is reflected in the language of the ideology that rules in these United States of America, the constitution. The constitution is introduced by powerful concepts. And the most powerful and the most enriching in terms of preparing for a good human future for all the citizens of the country is the idea that all of us are created equal, and all of us have the same human value at birth.
And that we have had that in common by virtue of our own nature, the composition of human life as it comes from the mama, delivered as a child. Same composition, same riches and those riches are to be manifest in the working order of society. What are those riches? Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I took a course in college, not much, I only have but a few hours, in a formal setting that is. They said, The meaning of the pursuit of happiness in the language of the constitution, or that introduction to the constitution, is the right to own property".
The right to own poverty, according to the constitution, is a right that you have by virtue of you being a human being. If you're a human being, you have that right. Your creator gave it to you. They didn't always recognize the language like creator thats in there. But they recognize that all of us are equal at birth or in our human identity and makeup at birth, original form that comes from mama, the human being. And they recognize that we all have an inherent right to own property, to have property.
The inheritance of the orphan is mentioned in Quran in several places. Inheritance of the orphan. Inheritance of the orphan. And how the inheritance of the orphan was taken from or separated, the orphan was separated from his inheritance and the inheritance was existing out of sight, not where you could see it, put under a wall. One reference is put under the wall, its under the wall.
When we look at other things that G-d says about inheritance or human life genetically that is passed on from parents to children. When we look at that, look at some of the other things that are said like for instance, G-d made all the children of Adam honorable. Thats in Quran. All the children of Adam, honorable. Qad Karamna kuli banni Adam.
We have certainly, G-d speaking, saying, "We have certainly made honorable all the children of Adam". Why did that need to be said? Whatever is said in Quran has a reference to something that was said before and people had lost the right way to understand it or perceive it.
Where do we find a connection for that reference in the scripture that came before? Noah had three sons. One of them was shameful. The other one was not to be followed. His example is not good, dont follow it.
Only one of his three sons behaved or established for himself a behavior or example that good people can follow. Only one of them, and that was the one that saw his father shame and went and covered it, so he wouldn't be disgraced in the eyes of people. The worst one of his sons, he laughed at his father and didn't do anything to help his father.
They say thats you black Negro, thats you nigger. He called us a nigger. No, the white man, the stupid white man he didn't know how to pronounce it, its Niger, Niger. That's a country in Africa. But the stupid white man that started calling us niggers to put us down, he didn't even know how to pronounce the name of the country. He called us nigger, It's not nigger, N-I-G-E-R, Niger.
I'm serious. You don't see me chuckling. That's a shame. That's terrible and many of us are still in the grip of the retarded, dumb white people. Were still in their grip. Were still influence by their evaluation of us. Their put down of our worth.
The Quran is addressing that, that no, they identify the one that laughed as Egypt, and the curse fell on Egypt's children, Canaanites. Some of the churches of America didn't just read it, but they shared it with their congregation telling their congregation that we are cursed people. The blacks are cursed by G-d. That we are the ones that this curse fell upon, the Canaanites who were under Egypt.
Yes, what does this have to do with the subject? What does this have to do with the Salatul Ibrahimiyya? It has a lot to do with it. Because the point that Im making is that these people receive the correct guidance and those that have preserved society for their citizens.
Im speaking of the people of the book. They have preserved also that knowledge, that precious knowledge. And they have done what they had the right to do and the power to do to establish respect for human life as G-d intended for it to be on this planet earth. They quietly and secretly work against Satan to protect that precious life that G-d revealed for human beings.
A sign of it is formal wear. Formal wear. Form, formal. We have all kinds of wears in this culture. We have formal wear, casual wear, streetwear, different wear. But formal wear, what color is formal wear? Black. Here lately they will put it in purple, white, yellow whatever you like, but formal wear is originally black.
If an affair is upgrade, is high grade, it's a black-tie affair, black tie affair. And G-d extends to you a rope, a cable from the heavens. How do you say tie that you wear in Arabic? Rubta. How do you say knot in Arabic? Rubta. It means a tie. Black tie occasion.
Is that talking about us brother, the black man? Yes, it's talking about the black man. But when they insulted the human value in the presence of the prophet, they insulted the human values of Bilal, who was black in color, the prophet said, "We all are Bilal", meaning the black that you see is not the real back. The black that you see is the believer who don't have any light on somethings that G-d said but he accepts it.
And those who accept those things bil ghaib, accept what G-d has revealed without even a light being put on it, without any proof, they are the black man and the black men, and the black woman and the black women.
The higher up in religion, who are devoted to the higher purposes of G-d, don't most of them wear black? The priest, they wear black. You think he's wearing black because he's mourning Jesus Christ passing? No, he got double reason for wearing black.
Oh Allah, bless Muhammad and the followers of Muhammad, as you did bless Abraham and the followers of Abraham. And make Muhammad successful and the followers of Muhammad, as you did make Abraham and the followers of Abraham.
That's the Salatul Ibrahimiyya, blessings and success. We were blessed when we were freed from slavery. G-d blessed us to give us help from white people, and Jews, Quakers and others to from under that terrible, bitter, painful, horrible yoke.
We were blessed. But have we been successful? No. As a community of people, we have not been successful. We have regressed, we have fallen down, we have begun to rot, become diseased, spiritual corruption manifests in our behavior on the streets. Rude, very rude, immoral and insistent, hurtful, have a spirit to hurt people, hurt people you don't know.
Hurt each other on the road when we're driving. Give us difficulty unnecessarily. Wasn't called for, you didn't have to do it, but you give me difficulty when I'm on the road, trying to block me from making my right turn. If you don't accomplish it, blast your horn as you pass me by. Just anything to make me uncomfortable and you don't know me, and you're Christian, maybe Muslim too, I am not sure. The Bible says, be careful how you treat strangers, the stranger may be an angel.
Yes, the Salatul Ibrahimiyya.
Now, Abraham is the one that G-d chose and gave him the title of Imam for the nations. Imam for the nations of all mankind, nations of mankind, an Iman, a leader for all of them, Abraham. Why is this man, that G-d also called a friend, why is this man, the first one to become a leader for all people? Because he is the first one that searched reality, the skies and earth and people. He searched reality to find life and guidance for his heart and his mind.
And he came to the conclusion that the whole of reality is one system, sky, earth, man life, everything. And it is held together by universal law, laws that stand up in one nation or in one land just like you stand up in another. Laws just stand up equally wherever you find them, no matter where you find them on this earth.
