Brothers Meeting - Males Muscles and Manhood

By Imam W. Deen Mohammed
00:01 Warith Deen Mohammed: I'd like to read first something from an Ayah in the Qur'an. It says, "They listen to the life giver." It goes on to say, "And if they come to you," meaning to the Prophet Himself, prayers and peace be on Him, "For you to settle their affair, then judge between them or leave them." Refuse to judge them. Be their judge. "And if you leave them or refuse to be their judge, they will not be able to harm you in the least. And if you be their judge, judging for them, then judge between them with justice. For surely, Allah loves the people of justice." I chose to begin speaking to you introducing those words from the Qur'an to bring your attention to the fact that the call to Islam by the Nation of Islam from the very beginning, and it never was changed, although the Honorable Elijah Muhammad after his release from prison and after the Second World War, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad changed his attention or his main focus, of his work from the lessons of the Nation of Islam that were formed by the guidance of his teacher, Professor Fard, as he introduced himself in Detroit, and the Savior as we know him, the Savior. And I won't go into any more than that, that's enough.
03:08 IWDM: And we were told that Islam is freedom, justice, and equality. That's what we were told. Islam is freedom, justice, and equality. I was a young child when I remember myself hearing that for the first time. I remember sitting on the seat, like you all are sitting on the seats now, and my father being in front of us like I'm in front of you. And I remember my feet hanging, that tells me I was small, my feet were not on the floor. I was sitting in the chair and my feet were dangling. I was not tall enough to put my feet on the floor. And I heard my papa say, "Islam is freedom, justice, and equality." And that's stuck in me. Because then my mother had shown me pictures in newspapers of the mistreatment of our people and she wanted me to remember it. So she would show me the abuse that was meted out to our people by White supremacists, racists, who were White supremacists, mind you. And some of them were just cheap, poor Whites that the society had let free to take their hatred and bad feeling all on us anytime they wanted to. And they would do it. Look for the least excuse to brutalize us. So I was a child, but I had seen those pictures, and pictures stick with you. And so when I heard... My mother would teach me too, she taught me. My mother was my teacher until I was about 12 years old.
05:05 IWDM: She told me, she said, "Our Savior said, don't let him go to school with the other boys until he's 12 years old," he said "Teach him at home." And that's what she did, how to read, how to write. She would give me lessons, assignments to write. So I would practice writing and have a nice hand, and she would give me some simple math to do. She was my first teacher until my father told her to get Shaikh Shabazz to be my teacher at home. Then he started coming to our house and teaching me at home. Shaikh Shabazz. How many remember Shaikh Shabazz? Let's see your hands. Oh, look at that. Wow! Yeah, he was James 3X Anderson before he got the Islamic name, Shaikh James Shabazz. Alright, so much for that. Now, if it'll help you all any, I'm cool as a cucumber.
[laughter]
06:17 IWDM: And as relaxed as a baby in a crib that was powdered with that talcum powder before the baby was put in the crib. [chuckle] So relax please. I'm gonna give you a lot of help that Allah has blessed me with. And the first help I wanna give you is help for our people. If you don't need it, find someone who needs it, and privately share this with them, privately share this with the brother. And if he's old enough to be interested in sex, he's old enough for you to share this with him. You know, Muslims, we are not in a situation in the world... Not even in the world, not even in Muslim lands are we in the situation really to carry out our responsibility to halal our food. To slaughter, dhabihah and halal our meats. But that doesn't excuse the fact that Islamic tradition started by our prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi wa-sallam, prayers and peace be on Him, that is, is that the male, muslim male in the house is supposed to slaughter the meat. We're not supposed to get an animal dead or to go and get pieces of an animal.
07:54 IWDM: The tradition is that you slaughter your own animal. And when you come to the Hajj, the tradition is that at the house with the same, you got to slaughter your own animal but now, you know you can't do that, it's too complicated, it's too, the crowd is too big, it is too difficult. So we have to have markets to slaughter and we have to, when we go to Hajj, we have to have their own system, take care of the slaughtering of the meats and we just pay for the animal. Well, you might be able to get around that if you're a local person or if you know how to get around it. You might be able to get around that, you might even be able to actually during the Hajj, go and buy your own animal and slaughter it and then they take it from there, I think.
08:48 IWDM: So why am I talking about slaughtering animals? You learn a lot from the natural life that people had to live before industrialization and all these provisions they have now to make life simple and easy and to take care of the big crowds, that ought to hold a lot of trouble and time and etcetera. So, I'm talking about this because if we used to kill chickens, my father had me working in the grocery store in Chicago, on Wentworth Avenue. About 31st on Wentworth. And you who live in this area know Chicago, you know exactly where I'm talking... You know the area. You can know the area I'm talking about. The store, the business of the community called the Nation of Islam, really got started right there on Wentworth Avenue. First it was the store, grocery store, and a restaurant, pardon me and then a grocery store right next door. Later, bakery so it was grocery store, restaurant and bakery. Right there, like two or three addresses, one building.
10:19 IWDM: And my father had my brother who was just above me by two years or maybe mostly so few months, Elijah and myself. Working in that store and the live chickens would come in and my father told us how to slaughter them, do the dhabihah. And he wasn't familiar with Arabic or anything like that, but obviously he had consulted some Muslim who knew from the outside or they had voluntarily given him some help. He told us, he said, he didn't say where he got it from, he just told us, he said, "Before you kill the little animal... " I'm giving you his exact words. "Before you kill the little animal, say, little animal if you can save yourself, do so."
[laughter]
11:24 IWDM: He said, "And then, you take a sharp knife, make sure the knife is good and sharp," he said, "And you cut the throat, until you know you have gone through the jugular vein." He said, "Then, say Allahu, no say, Bismillah, before and then cut the throat." That's what he told us. Up to there, he's correct. But he didn't say, after you slaughter the animal, say, "Allahu Akbar," he didn't say that. And to make it complete, you have to say, "Bismillah," and then you cut the throat and once you know you've cut the throat, you say, "Allahu Akbar." So that's how dhabihah is done. And if you proceed to let the blood out and clean the animal and make it nice, then it will be dhabihah halal or halal dhabihah. Dhabihah halal. Slaughtered properly and Halal according to Islamic instructions from our prophet. Yes. Now... So I was killing the chicken with my brother, taking the feathers off of them, of the chicken with my brother. My brother was very good, very good at it. And very good at cutting up chicken. He could cut 'em up fast, very fast. Working with the chickens in the store. I know how chicken look. But he is all dressed up and walking around alive. And I know how he looks when he is naked. And I know how he looks inside. Now what's the most... I would say critical or important organ in not only a chicken but in every vertebrate or animal that has a heart. What's the most important? I'm gonna give you.
13:38 Speaker 2: The heart.
13:39 IWDM: Huh?
13:39 S2: Heart.
13:39 IWDM: Heart, somebody said heart?
13:43 S2: Heart.
13:44 IWDM: That is right. The heart. See it's pronounced heart. Now if you ain't careful you'll be saying hard.
[laughter]
13:57 IWDM: Hard instead of heart. And most of the common people, they don't say heart, they say hear... And leave the 't' off right. Heart. Very hard to pronounce that Oh. Say where is he going with this? I think you know. Lot of y'all already know. Now if I had one of those projectors behind me, I could draw or have a sketch here on the podium. And my sketch was seen by you on the screen back here, I could draw a turkey's heart or a lamb's heart. Maybe even a chicken heart. And I can draw it and not tell you what it is. Or either have it projecting out of the zipper of a man's pants. And you wouldn't doubt that that was not a heart but a hard.
[laughter]
15:11 IWDM: Where is he going with this?
[laughter]
15:18 IWDM: Shaitan. He wanted a plan to make the world for him and the Allah created it for all people. Shaitan. Satan. He denied... He designed the language... This sex language... The cultural language. Sex language inside of the cultural language. That's the doings of the Satan himself. And that's why heart and hard sound so much alike. But even more than that, he has used the sex life more than anything else to get us out of a productive life. And out of a design or plan like as Allah wanted, our G-d the Creator wants from us. Satan did that. And he says, according to the word of Allah in the Qur'an, Allah says of him, he revealed that to Satan. They never did... Allah planned from his creation something... Often very directly he's talking about his prophet because I think of the Prophet as Allah's first creation.
16:42 IWDM: And never did he plan anything for his servant or his creation, that Satan didn't plan also to produce something resembling it. So, before G-d reaches us with what he wants for us, Satan rushes, he's just in a hurry. He rushes and he gets to us first. And he puts the language in our minds from him first. So when we get Allah's language, we can't... We have difficulty in understanding it. 'Cause Satan have already reached us with his language concerning that issue or that matter, that Allah is addressing. But G-d knows you. And G-d says they plan and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners. So he can plan but Allah foresees, he foreknows everything. Now satan takes care of his own. I'm gonna repeat that. Some of you might have had your minds somewhere else. I'm getting rid of me something... hold me here all day? So if you don't listen to me. Keep your ears open and attentive to everything that I'm saying. In this one world you can get messed up.
18:24 IWDM: Yes. So, I was saying that Satan plans and he tries to make sure he gets his plan out before the prophet or the messenger of G-d can get his plan out to you. So he already has sent Judah to let them know how to deal with what's coming from Allah through his messengers or his prophets. But Allah knows that, so Allah says, "They plan and I want the best of planners." So Allah, before long, plans way in advance. So we've got so much in his creation to help us against Satan. We don't know it, but G-d got so much in his creation to help us against the plans and schemes of Satan and his language in the cultural environment. And if you keep your distance here, your innocence as a creation... When a baby come here, baby didn't come here scheming. Baby comes here ready to be guided alright. If you keep that innocent nature, Allah will stay with you forever. And others will be falling by the wayside but you will be on the path of G-d all the time. Yes.
20:05 IWDM: So my dear brothers, the Satan, he takes care of his own. That's where we left off, you see? The Satan takes care of his own. He sets up secret orders and he show them the secrets. They are only secrets because he created a world of darkness, or a world that has cultural language to take you away from the leading path of Allah. So he has to set up secret schools because he doesn't want this to get out to the many. It can't get out to the many. And when he sets up a secret school for them, many of them don't know that Satan arranged it for them. Satan know how they, by his scheme to you and his plan, his work, and everything else to you, and you never knew who brought it to you. So anyway, most of them, they don't know that Satan brought them the plan for their secret orders. So he will set up... Not every secret order is under Satan, don't think I'm saying that. In fact, a very few... You don't need many. You only need a few, very few. And most of the secret orders that Satan himself set up, they in his own house. They in his own house. Now, you can't find his house, either. His house looks pretty clean from the outside and inside. You have to be blessed to read the language of the Satan and the language of man. You have to be able to read the language of Satan and the language of man, to know the difference between man's language and Satan's language.
22:18 IWDM: Anyway, before we leave this secret order thing, know that the Qur'an discourage us setting up secret orders. Allah says in Qur'an that most of them are no good. They're sent to oppress man, to do wrong by man. But he said however, some of them work in the interest of man, promoting justice and fair dealings between people or mankind. Yes. Some of them. A great many are deceivers, but some of them are innocent and they are rendering good service in the community life of mankind. Oh, thank you very much. You know, Abraham, he had his wife with him on one of the trips he made out of his country, and someone said, "Who is this woman with you?" "My sister." He said, "My sister." He didn't lie.
[laughter]
23:53 IWDM: Yes. Okay, so we're gonna conclude in a few minutes, 'cause I won't be able to give you all that I had prepared. It wasn't Allah's will either to give you all of this. 'Cause I guess some Satans is in the audience, not all of them wanna hear this. You looking around for a white man?
[laughter]
24:17 IWDM: Don't. Like Muhammad said, a black person can turn devil overnight. That's pretty quick. It took Yakub 600 years, and he said a black man can turn devil overnight. Yes. Here's something I wanna leave with you brothers. Didn't Allah say, in everything there are signs in this holy book, he said, "In the heavens above, in the skies above, there are signs as well as in the earth," and he said also, "In me, in you, are signs." Do you think an organ as important as that organ that is used to procreate, to start another life, to have another generation of young people. Do you think that organ that is used for that is not a sign worthy of bringing into the study, to study in it and see if it's got a message hidden in it for mankind.
[background conversation]
25:48 IWDM: But brothers are not supposed to do this probably because that makes you feel unhonorable. Discussing your most precious organ, outside of your body, publicly. That's not too common for us, we're moral creatures we're decent. Alright, so I don't know anyway to put it, I put it plainly to you. This is what they teach their sons that they select very carefully. A man and a woman to the secret order might have sons and not one of them qualified. He had died, no son was qualified to bring him to the secret order. His lifeline might live for several generations before one from his loins or from his lifeline qualifies to come into the secret order. Very difficult, to be chosen for the secret order. I'm talking about the real high secret orders, very serious secret order, very difficult to qualify. But if you qualify they want you to be from their loins, from them.
27:10 IWDM: That is the elective one's sons have to be the inheritors of their wisdom. You can't be someone that's not elected, the son of one that's not elected. So anyway, they tell their sons at 12 years old most of them, say their heart is the most vital organ in your body and end of your penis are to be understood in the signs of G-d. Son, pretty soon you are going to have a wife. When you put your penis into her, you're putting your heart into her and if you don't put your heart into her, you're gonna fail her and you're gonna fail us. You're gonna fail her and you're gonna fail us. So you be sure to keep your heart in your intercourse and your sex act. Keep your human heart in it and know that G-d has made it to look like your heart to tell you put your heart in it, that it be conscious of the wife and her importance as a wife and she is going to be a mother one day, be conscious of that. And be conscious of your life with your wife and your children, be conscious of your having to live with other men who have wives. And your children have to live with other children of other men. And staying with your own kind.
[background conversation]
29:26 IWDM: Don't mix with the unbelievers. I'm telling you what they tell their children. Don't mix with the unbelievers, and don't give them what you give him in this school that you have now been accepted in. You keep it in your own family. That's what they tell them. Now imagine they're moving alot but all these secret orders so much confusion in the world so many takeovers by other powerful people laying mistakenly with people in one land, even though they're people from another land and they may have to hold it secret. So many sleeping devices, they have to hold what they do in secret and pass it only by word of mouth or by... Really by ritual, not even by word of mouth. So that nobody is can steal it, it has been made so difficult to keep your knowledge to yourself. But they have had to just cut it off, stop doing it, stop passing it on. And trust it with only the older people to preserve and when the young gets old then they might... Knowing that you're gonna live too long for it to be a risk, and give it to them when you're about 2 or 3 years from the grave.
31:07 IWDM: But they manage to keep it with them in their own circle. They manage to keep it, yes. So you can imagine that here are youngsters coming up and, either giving it directly or by hints... See, they know how to hint. They know how to hint and make the... Bring the mind to connect with the more important reality, than just having sex like a dog. They know how to reach them. And they reach them and they are able to stay married longer, they're able to work together, a wife and husband work together, building a big future for themselves. Wife ain't going out to party when she knows her husband needs her to be at home to do some secretary work for him or something. No, she don't do that. She'll miss every weekend of fun. She doesn't care. She's devoted to her husband and her children and her family's future because she has a sensitive husband who knows how, even when they're having sex, to put his human heart into it. That's really all I wanted to tell you brothers. I can tell you the rest out there with everybody else.
[pause]
32:56 IWDM: So I'm gonna take about five minutes more and then we gonna get ready for the main address. I got almost about 13 or 14 minutes before three now and I should... I'm gonna stay right here and... How they're gonna get in here? You ought to fill the place up.
33:13 S2: We have the balcony.
33:16 IWDM: Yeah, I see that up there. I can see a few people up there, too. Make sure they put your sisters up there?
33:24 S2: No!
33:25 IWDM: Why not?
[laughter]
33:31 IWDM: Why not? That's heaven. That's elevated. We're supposed to be down here on earth taking care of business. They're supposed to be sitting up there in heaven.
[laughter]
[applause]
33:45 IWDM: Hey, you folks good? I like it. [laughter] That's why we get serious, brothers. Everything gonna be fine and we can bring some of the special senior citizens, female, and sit them on the front here. You got some seats up here in the front, we can set them right on the front. Now, security got something else in mind and they're set on that, I ain't gonna bother them. I ain't gonna bother them. I've sure learned how to bend with the wind.
[laughter]
34:24 IWDM: And life is so much easier. I'm telling you. But I know when to stiffen up now and they know it, too. They know I know when to stiffen up. And oh, if I yield, that doesn't mean a thing. I got what kills instantly and you know what that is? The authority you give me. You ain't give anybody else the authority you give me. You give them no less than you give me and they know it. All of them know it, and I won't let them forget it.
[background conversation]
[applause]
35:13 IWDM: And G-d loves us and I love them and they love me. Yes. You know, brothers, Al-Fatihah is our opening. It's the first chapter of the Qur'an. It's our opening prayer. It's an oft repeated prayer. It's for every occasion. You don't have to use it for every occasion, but you have to at least use the first verse. And it's the only chapter where the first verse is, "Bismillah... Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim." That's the first verse of Al-Fatihah. For every other chapter, it's not. So that tells us that we can show in Al-Fatihah to Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim. And we can use Al-Fatihah for all occasions. You shouldn't eat before saying "Bismillah." At least say "Bismillah," even if you don't say, "ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim." Bismillah, then you eat. That's what Allah says, It's not coming from me. I don't come from me. I ain't got nothing that come with it. If G-d hadn't given me something from his word, I wouldn't have me anything. I'd be a welder. Probably be doing alright, too, but I'd be a welder. I wouldn't be doing as much, I wouldn't be as important. I wouldn't be helping as many people. But for my personal need, my private life is enough to just to keep my life, my private life, decent before G-d is enough. And I'm happy. It's enough for my happiness. I don't need more than that. Nope, I do not.
37:06 IWDM: We were told Islam is mathematics by the teacher, Professor W. Fard. Many years ago, I told you all that the Saviour, Mr. WD Fard or Mr. Fard Muhammad, WF Muhammad. He used that language to tell us that you are not to read and accept the language, the way it comes to you directly to your mind or to your awareness. You're not supposed to accept it that way. Now let's see, he said again you must learn to speak the language. He said unless you learn the terminology or learn to put the language in its proper terms, you will not be successful. I am giving you what Mr. Fard left with us.
38:19 IWDM: Now, he said Islam is mathematics and mathematics is Islam. When I saw things happening that I fear would bring the name of Islam down, I began to take serious what I was told as a child. That you were born to help your father and his teacher, not just my Father, my Father and his teacher. So, I got serious and I began to study and work hard. You don't know I felt as a child, and as a young man and now as an old man with a young spirit, I felt that the people I was indebted to was the all the people, the brothers and sisters, especially, the faithful believers and followers of Honorable Elijah Muhammad. I felt I was indebted to them 'cause I knew my father was in prison, he was in the prison for about five years. He didn't live in a home for more than five years. For a good five years, I never saw him in the house as a boy, I didn't see him, a young boy, I didn't see my father in the house until I was about 14 years old.
39:39 IWDM: I just... Some visit, on visit about two or three times, that's all. But then, were we hungry? No, the believer saw that we had food. My mother would go out too, shopping and doing this and that, but on the weekend, Brother Ephraim Mahal, Uncle Willie from Detroit, one of my father's blood brother, very faithful beautiful people, would bring us food, excellent food. And my mother would always have company, though my father was out, she was the only one that my father would give messages through to the ministers, to the staff, to keep the Nation of Islam going, running. She was actually directly, she was the direct contact for Honorable Elijah Muhammad to keep the nation going for those years that he was in prison. For four or five or six years, because before he came, before they put him in the prison, he was still away, like staying away so he wouldn't be arrested. Yes. So let me keep to my point, I'm about to lose it... Oh yeah. They would bring fruit. They would bring vegetables. They would bring my mother live chickens occasionally. And I knew that, that's how we were taken care of, alright. So you don't know how much I feel indebted to the believers who followed Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
[background conversation]
41:23 IWDM: My life is for them.
41:25 S2: Yes, Sir.
41:26 IWDM: And even when you fall, I will speak it out in the air and you didn't know how to understand most of what I was saying. I wasn't just speaking to you who followed me from the day, from the time that I came into the leadership in 1975. I was speaking to everybody that accepted the Honorable Elijah Muhammad's teachings. All the time I've been teaching, I've been teaching not only to the mind here now, but to the mind that was made back then. So, then hopes that you all will catch something, that will help you come out of that language that was created to fascinate you, to trick you, powerful magnetism, to hold you until a leader could come out that will be able to lead us out of that language into a language that would take us to receive the Muhammad, our brother Muhammad in the Holy City of Mecca. Ain't that make proper sense?
42:33 S2: Yes, Sir.
42:33 IWDM: A trip to Mecca, to see brother Mukmud, or Muhammad, a trip to Holy City of Mecca to see brother Mukmud. That's the way we were taught to pronounced Mukmud. My name was Warith Deen Muckmud. My brother Herbert, Herbert Mukmud. Elijah, Elijah Muhammad, my sister Lottie Muhammad, FO Muhammad, Nathaniel Muhammad. Now you ask anyone what Muhammad is, they will tell you right away. 'Cause that was our name, that was our name for even the public to the public. What's your name? Wallace Muhammad, Wallace Deen Muhammad. And you know the Turks, this man was very smart, very smart. He was third in the FBI. Throwing his, telling his part in it all. The Turks, they don't pronounce Muhammad, Muhammad. They... Back long time ago and now. If you had some Turkish-ness or what's his name? If his name is Celine Muhammad, he won't say Celine Muhammad, he'll say Celine Mahamed, Celine Mahamed.
43:42 IWDM: And I guess Mr. Fard had such a hard time getting up and around and uneducated African-Americans from the street... They say, "Muhammad". He say, "Well, the Turks say Mahamed, let's see how that'll work." So he pat me on the head, goes, Sharif Muhammad. And then Sharif Muhammad goes home and says my name is Sharif Muhammad. He will not say Mahamed. [chuckle] My name is Shari Muhammad. If come back to Fard, and Fard says, "Brother, "Yes, we wanna record your name here. What's your name?" My name is Sharif Muhammad. Fard say, "Yeah, that's right. You were wrong. Muhammad. And I wanna get you out of the muck and mud. But it's gonna take some time." So that's fine. Allah Muhammad and Khalaf Muhammad. All you all, that's fine. Muhammad. You got it. [chuckle] And my mother used to be saying in the kitchen early in the morning, she'd get up, cleaning up the house and everything, and she said he took my feet out of the muddy clay. Oh yes, he did. My mother would say he took my feet out of the muddy clay. Oh yes, he did. Muddy clay and Muhammad are very close. It means a similar thing. You get bogged down in the muddy clay, don't you? And you bogged down in the mud, the same. In the muck and mud.
45:24 IWDM: Okay. So we gonna have to close it 'cause it's time for me to start the broadcast right now. But understand this, when you look up mathematics, see, I don't stop. I look up mathematics and I'm gonna get the root and number what I'm looking for. I can search it. So I finally learned mathematical, language of mathematical. And before I arrived at this language, I had already figured out myself that when you're working with numbers, you're working with symbols. You're working with symbols. You're not working... You say five, but five... If you're an accountant or a business man, you take a tab on things and five is your competition or in your mathematical work that you did. Five means five suits or five apples or five something. Or five pennies. It's not just five. So I discovered that. That language more than... I mean, mathematics is the most exact of all the sciences. But it is the science that depends more on symbols than any other science.
46:55 IWDM: So I looked in the dictionary. This is a long time ago. I am bringing it to you today. I've talked on this before. So a full expression, mathematical logic, and I knew I had it. When I saw that expression in the dictionary, I knew I had... I knew I had found what Mr. Fard was coming from. And the dictionary, Random House Webster's Dictionary, you get it in almost any big dictionary, second addition, it says, "Mathematical logic," it says, "See symbolic logic." And when you see symbolic logic, it says, "Symbolic logic, among development of formal logic, employing a special notation on symbolism. Capable of manipulation in accordance with precise rules." Symbolism. You hear that? So he was actually telling us, brothers. He was telling us that the language I'm giving you is symbolic. It's mathematical logic. It's not ordinary logic. It's logic is symbolic logic. See how clear it is when you find it?
48:16 IWDM: Brother, it's my pleasure, and I thank you for being the good person you are. Allahu Akbar. Thank you, my brother. Now, when you come to literal, the dictionary says literal means in accordance with involving or being the primary or stripped meaning of the word, our words. Not figurative, not metaphorical, not allegorical. Okay? And then, figure. Mathematics is the language of figures, isn't it? It's the language of figures. And if I say my expression is figurative, it means you're not to take it literally. Figurative, the dictionary says, of the nature of or involving figure, a figure of speech, especially a metaphor, metaphorical, not literal. And what does Allah says in the Qur'an? I'm getting ready to let you go now, brothers. Not let you go but bring your sisters in. Or you all can bring your sisters in anytime you want now. We got past the precious organ. So once we get past that, we don't mind the sisters coming. Have them come on in, please. Yes. So...
49:49 IWDM: Allah says in the Qur'an, "This book is basic and allegorical." Or basic and symbolic. Having metaphors, etcetera. Things that look... You see with your physical eye many things, but this only picture language. You have to know what the picture stands for, what the picture represents. So that's metaphorical. And if you put it into a story, then a story with language like that becomes a story that is allegorical. Or a piece of writing, you identify it as allegorical because it's of that nature, that symbolic nature. All right. What does Allah say, addressing that nature of the language and the nature of that nature in the language of Qur'an? What does Allah say? Allah says, "Those who have a preference, you like the metaphorical or the allegorical more." The symbolic more. You attach to that more. Those who have a preference for the allegorical over the clear, plain, literal and basic language teachings, they have in their hearts a defect. A disease, whether they know it or not. And you know what Allah says many times in the Qur'an. When one has a disease of the heart, Allah said, he lead them in their trespasses to wander on, and their disease increases and they become more affected or more diseased as time goes on.
52:14 IWDM: Now, I will continue and, sisters, are they coming? Are we bringing the sisters in? Somebody let me know. Find out and come up here and let me know. The Qur'an. The book is basic, expressing plain logic, common sense. Practical and figurative, using metaphor and allegory. Those who prefer the figurative over the basic have in their hearts a disease, that's from the Qur'an. Outwardly, the majority in the leadership of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, express both what is literal in the scriptures and what is figurative. However, most of their interest appears to be bound up in the mystical, the figurative that we find in scriptural language. Scripture warns of this tendency, revealing it in a visual conclusion. And I quote you now, this is from the Bible. "Darkness covered the whole earth. There was a famine. Not a famine of food, but a famine of hearing the word of G-d." That's The Holy Bible. Quote, "Allah created the darkness and the light... "
53:40 S2: Hey, man, the sisters are coming in.
53:42 IWDM: Thank you. Thank you. Allah created the darkness and the light. One far away, the other in succession. That's the Qur'an. The expression, "darkness," in quotations, refers to concrete objects. In the long trail of history, there is a lot of importance and intelligence while being utterly fear and awe, induced in him the objects in the universe believe the sun in our solar system to be your G-d. Me or the end of me goes in search for this myth. The myth. The sky myth. The myths of the myth and the different mythologies of the old world, Greeks. Greek. Egypt fall before Greece and other parts of the world, you search the language of their mythology and you will see what I'm addressing right now very clearly. Many other figures in the composition of the world, including man himself, have been worshipped mistakenly as G-d. The same Allah, who created concrete existence, created the human brain, the human heart. And he created the human brain and the human heart for his mercy. Freedom from the dominance of the concrete world is what Allah wants for us. Freedom from the dominance of the concrete world is one of two divine mercies given and promised to us in holy scripture.
55:33 IWDM: A second statement we are listing here is given in these words, "Islam is freedom, justice, and equality." Oh, I love that language. Recently, a publication was sent to me. This publication is produced by non-Muslim, produced by Christians. And right on the front of that publication were the words, "freedom, justice, and equality." And I was humbled because I never noticed any language like that before anywhere except in the nation of Islam.
