The Need For Healthy Sensitivities: Scriptural Interpretation

Imam W. Deen Mohammed
Recorded May 15th 1983 at Masjid Felix Bilal, Los Angeles, CA

The first spirit in the spirit to grow. In knowledge, in understanding or whatever. Right? Its the spirit to grow, - green. What else is the green? Green is a concern or interest in us to move in to the field or the area of freedom, possibilities. Its an urge to go in to the future. The future is pulling us in the beginning. Right? The future has a pull on us. The little baby that comes here. What attracts that baby to want to get with us, want to (unclear), want to do things with us. Its the possibility for that child, and that possibility is that childs future, isnt it? So we are here, the child has to come where we are. So that, that is beyond the child is pulling the child. The future is pulling the child, and thats what makes for growth.

What is the principal that Muslims should live by? Is it the present? No. Its the future. Allah says, and the later or (Arabic) is greater than the present. Isnt that what he says? The (Arabic) Later is greater than the present. The future, the ends is greater than the beginning. So as long as you keep that kind of interest, and interest in the future then youre going to be more progressive. Thats the green life. If you have an interest in the future, - you can go. And as long as the green light is on, as long as your interest is in the future, - keep going. But now you interest aint in the future no more, it turns yellow, - slow down, be careful. If it turns red, - stop. So these are concerns, they are interests, right? And we know that they are based upon what? Emotions. Our emotional makeup is where we get all of these desires. You dont have no spirit unless you have emotional makeup. If you dont have an emotional makeup what spirit do you have, - nothing. You have to be humanly sensitive, you have to be emotional sensitive to have any kind of urge, or any kind of desire for movement. The spirit didnt start by itself, it said the darkness was upon the deep, and the spirit moved upon the face of the waters.

It didnt move by itself it had to move upon the face of the waters. It had to be some sensitivity there, then you get spirit. And men who study science, science of water they know that you can get air out of water. You can convert water into air. So really the base of air is really water. So what is this yellow? If the green is an interest in the future, what is the yellow? The yellow is an interest in the past. Yellow represents an interest in the past. So when you stop being interested in the future and your concern now is to know the past, this world says, slow down, take it easy, be careful you might be in danger. They are telling you we dont like that. We dont like your mind drifting back into the past. As long as you want to follow the future that we show you, keep going black man, white man, red man all you boys. Keep going.

Now when the light turns yellow in your mind, - your vision because light represents your eye. Green is in your eye, then yellow comes in your eye. When yellow comes into your eye you want to know the past. Okay you had better slow down now. Now when red comes into your eye, red means you want to know the present. Red means I want to see and understand the present. Stop, or youll get a ticket or locked up. So let me tell you how Allah,.. nobody has taught me this, - Im showing you how Allah has let me see the secret of those people who rule us. You see when Allah gets ready to make another ruler he lets that ruler see the highest cards. Allahu Akbar.

So let us go on now, because I think this is good. So Allah says that he begins all life from water. So when we lose our sensitivities we are dead. We know he can resurrect us, because the same Lord says in the scripture it says whether you be bone, or dust, or something harder in your mind to resurrect you shall be resurrected. Praise be to Allah. And we know Job he sat down in the dust, didnt he. He needed a revival. He was finished. All his friends laughed at him, but he had one thing going for him he was still sensitive to the will of G-d. Though he had been reduced to dust he as still sensitive to the will of G-d. They said, hey, why dont you curse that Lord of yours. Get yourself out of the dust and live Job. Job said in all of my trials, in all of my trials and tribulations I will trust in the Lord. Is that not right? And because of his commitment to remain sensitive to the will of G-d there was a resurrection for him. Allah picked him up out of the dust, and established him over all of his criticizing associates. Alright, Allahu Akbar. Curiosity itself is a sensitivity.

Thats a sensitivity. And if you are not curious, you are mentally dead. If you dont have any curiosity then you are mentally dead. How are we going to bring the mentally dead back to life? We were told in the olden days, in the first experience that its a matter of getting the rusty locks to turn. And you know rust is dust. Rust is dust forming on the steel or the metal, right? And it causes the metal to become irregular in its surface. And if you go to put the key in it and it wont turn, because the metal is now irregular. And it can get so bad that you put the key in there and the whole thing falls apart.

Thats the Bilalian on the bottom. His poor mind is that there aint nothing but rust. You put a key in his mind and his whole mind falls down. Just crumbles in to dust. Now you know they have soap called Ivory soap. I studied microbiology. Microbiology is the study of living matter in water, and it also includes in milk. Microbiology. So I studied that. I couldnt get what I wanted so I studied that. And in one of your laboratory experiments we were testing the strength of two soaps, Ivory and Castile. It was determined that, or reasoned that from the experiment that Ivory killed most of the bacteria. It killed most of the bacteria in total just about, all the bacteria that you would want to kill on your skin or whatever you want in three to seven minutes, but the Castile killed it in one to two minutes. Castile. Now you know weve been talking about rust in the metal, right, iron.
Now there is a soap called Castile. Now its not spelled, stile like, steel. Cast steel.

Thats the name of a soap. Alright. So if you can cast the intellectual potential, and the moral potential in the human being until its steel until it cant move then you got something to clean him with. Thats when hes unruly. When hes unruly you cant do nothing with him. So first you have to steel his mind in order to work on it, because his mind is the block between helping him and you. Between the help, and the one thats going to do the help. You cant reach him, you cant help him because his mind is a block between there. There is the problem, and here is the one to help, but the helper cant get to the problem because of the mind of the donkey blocking the way. So they say, oh these defiant, unruly people how are we going to clean up their mind, how are we going to clean up their thinking?

Cast their mind like you cast steel, and it will clean them up, make them germ free in one to two minutes. Or use Ivory and clean them up in three to seven minutes. I hope youre following what Im saying. This is symbolism. What Im telling you is just like the first man was thrown into the natural environment and he saw meaning and messages in symbols, the wise man has kept that language, and he puts things out in your environment, and those things represents his language. To you it aint nothing but soap. You go there and you buy a bar of Ivory soap. To you it aint nothing but soap. The difference between the Ivory soap and the Castile to you is perhaps nothing. For some it may be, well the Castile I like the way it quicky suds up. I like the way it rinses off so clean and nice. So you would have your preference, but the meaning to you is not the meaning to the wise man in the Eiffel Tower. So he says Castile means purifying these peoples minds. Theyre corrupt. By bringing their minds to a stand still, - cast their thinking process until its steel.

Oh man thats impossible Not it aint. Most of you are out there in the street, you got cast steel minds. Now something that has been designed to follow a certain pattern. Something that has been design to follow a certain line of progress. If you take it out of that line of progress where it cant make any more progress in that line, maybe it can run around the zoo, it still has motion, but it has been stopped. Alright. So thats what we are talking about. It doesnt mean that we dont think anymore. You still thing, but you dont think in the natural line of progress. Because youre not thinking in the natural line of progress your thinking has been arrested.

In (unclear) lead. Have you heard the expression, he has lead in his pants? It didnt say in her dress. It says in his pants. You can get arrested with lead too. Right? And lately they are saying take lead, take zinc. Its good for sex. Youre killing yourself. Right? Youre eating that stuff and youre killing yourself. It means something altogether different to the one that wrote the language. No pardon me, they dont say lead for sex, they say take zinc for sex. Zinc is a metal like lead isnt it. Heavy and inexpensive.
What is the problem? The problem is one of passion. Thats what all of this high knowledge says. The problem of establishing yourself as an intellectual person, establishing yourself as a forward moving progressive person, the problem is in your emotional makeup. And the passions build upon the emotional base. Right? In the emotions there develops passion. A stronger form of emotion is passion. And we were told that the black man is the original man. Is that what we were told? And we know from the study of colors that colors are associated with passion, spirit, emotion, - passion. So if black is a color, what is it saying about us? If we are black people. We didnt call ourself black people. Did you know that? Never did we call our self black people. The colored man, I should say the coloring man called us black people.

Yes, the coloring man, he called us black people, and he has science for each color. Now what is he saying about Africa when he says they are black people? If youre just picking a word, couldnt we be called white people? Sure, white in your mind now is this, but couldnt it have started out being black? White could have started out being black. The man that picked the colors, hes saying something. Now what is he saying about Africa and black people when he says that you are black. Thats what we want to know. I want to know it. The Lord knew I wanted to know it, and He thought I was good enough to be told. Allahu Akbar. Alright, so we are told that the black man is the original man. So if the black man is the original man, and mind you this man that brought us this symbolic language, or symbolic terminology, this man was one of those people that the Hon. Elijah said, he was one of the scientist, and because he had more knowledge than any of the rest he became the god of the scientists.

Thats what we were taught. Twenty-four scientist, twenty-three scientist met in the rule of civilization in Mecca concerning the lost-found Nation of Islam that they should return to their own. So they sent a messenger to them to teach them of their own. And the Hon. Elijah Muhammad explained to us that that messenger was the mystic that taught him. So he was one of twenty-four wise men. He made the twenty-fourth one. Twenty-three met, and they met with him. He was the twenty-fourth one. And they accepted him that he should be the god, but here now the god became the messenger. And he introduced himself as who? As a professor. But he played on their minds, he influenced their minds to see him as the return of Jesus Christ. The second coming of lord and savior Jesus Christ.

And in doing that then they called him prophet, and they called him messenger also. But none of that terminology stayed. When he left, the Hon. Elijah Muhammad he did away with that terminology and he said, no, Im the messenger, Im the apostle. That was G-d in person. Thats what he said. Alright, so how are we going to understand that? Is that the Quran? No. Thats foreign to the Quran. Thats rejected by the Quran. So how are we to understand it? We are to understand it in its proper place. In its native place. Its native place is the Bible, western, Christian science, and all that they have built upon it. Thats where we are to understand it. The Bible says of Moses. It says alright then Moses then you make Aaron your messenger, and you become a god to him. Isnt that what the Bible says? So here now the prophet becomes a god, and he commissions another one, Aaron to be his messenger.

And again the Bible, the scripture says, henceforth, the minister shall be the messenger of G-d. Thats what the Bible says. Henceforth, from now on meaning were doing away with the old, meaning with the old labeling. From this time forward the messenger shall be called G-d. Thats your Bible. I dont know what chapter, I dont know what verse, but if its not in there, I pay you. If its in there you pay me. Alright, its in there. Alright, so this terminology is not Islamic, not even Judaic. The Jews, the renegade Jews, those Jews who were renegade, those Jews that rebelled and went astray from the direction that Moses gave them, they were on the ones who invented this, and it came into the hands of the European man, and he used it, and he made his god in his own image on the cross. This is the truth. Now if you are a Christian here, and you dont like it, or this offends you a little bit, believe me my intentions are to do nothing but heal you. I love all of you. I have nothing but soothing stuff here. If it burns you it is because your attitude is wrong.

Yes, let us continue now. Black, what is its meaning? Black. The Bible says that the angel came to Mary to inform her of G-ds blessing of a child that would be born of her, from her. Is that right? And it says when the angel came the angel overshadowed her. What color is a shadow? And didnt the white man call us in his theater his shadow? Me and my shadow. So before man becomes a real entity, before he becomes a real structured man in a human body hes just a spirit. Hes just a shadow. Hes just spiritual in make up. The object is solid. You strike it you hit it. The shadow you go through it. Its symbolic of spiritual. A spirit without a body. So when the white man calls us black hes calling us spirit without body. Soul brother find your self a body please.

We got one to offer you, its yours. And you who believe in Elijah Muhammad then you should accept what Im offering you here today, because the Hon. Elijah Muhammad said. what is your own self? Did he say your own self is and African? Did he say your owns self is a black man? He said your own self is a righteous Muslim. Allahu Akbar. Alright, so thats what were offering you. We want the white man to stop laughing at us. Allah has blessed us with insight and knowledge equal to his and better. We dont want to just have it to our selves. We want to stop this white man from talking over our head and laughing at our people. We want you to have what we got. And when he talks about your color say, wait a minute. I know what youre talking about. Youre not talking about this color on me. You dont have no problem with black pigmentation. Your wear black tuxedos, you wear black top hats. You wear black bow ties. Your most formal, your most distinguished black dress is dominated by black. Now white man I know you aint got no problem with black. Now what the hell do you mean when you call me black in a derogatory way?

Now you got Satan by his balls. Excuse me please. Yes. Now there are many things I would like to tell you today. The Lord willing Ill be around here. It looks like Hes giving me my strength back again. I feel pretty good. Oh yeah, praise be to Allah. Now this mystic who brought this strange religion, strange package for the black man to the United States to Elijah Poole. Can anybody pull that black board up a little bit here? Be happy brothers, thats all. Just be happy. Believe me, just be happy. Aint no time for us to have no jealous quarrels or no jealous tugging and pushing and shoving between us. Allah has done such a wonderful thing for us African American black folks, negroes, and colored people and Bilalians there aint no time for none of that.

Now look here, the man name was Poole. That was the name he got as a child of America, of the United States. He didnt have that in Africa. He got that over here. Poole. Now you know thats a silent e right? So since its silent lets take it off. Now what do you got? And what is a pool? Water. So where was Elijah? He was in the water. Elijah was in a pool of water, and the mystic came and got him and he chose him because of his name. His name was Elijah - Poole. When he found that one he favored that one to be his messenger. Messenger to who? The black man? Yes, on one level. Messenger to the world on another level.

Oh, are you trying to say that your father, - youre going back on what you taught,... no Im not. You just listen. Now what does Elijah mean? What does the word Elijah mean? They say it means Jehovah is G-d. Thats what they say. Elijah means Jehovah is G-d. Now in the Bible there are two concepts of G-d. Three really, but in the beginning of the Bible the Old Testament there is the concept of G-d as Jehovah. In the New Testament theres the concept of G-d as Christ Jesus. Right? Now Elijah means Jehovah is G-d, not Jesus. Jehovah is G-d, but this knowledge of who is the real G-d is in a pool of water. You see this is the symbolism. This is the science. This is the hidden language of the twenty-four. Alright, now dont look for twenty-four people. Look for twenty-four hours in the day.

Yeah because they take you from light to darkness, and back again. Alright, now if Elijah was in a pool of water then the real G-d was in the pool of water. Pool of water, what is a pool of water? A pool of water represents your basic, or the earliest form in your emotional make up. The emotional make up, it develops too. But the earliest form in your emotional make up is described as water. Water is sensitive, right? Very sensitive. Then we have a higher level of emotion that we call properly emotion. Thats air right? It is above the surface of the water. It starts with the top of the water, the surface of the water. Thats air, but also air is in the water isnt it. H2O, hydrogen and oxygen is in the water. Thats what water is made of, you see. So that earliest form of you emotions is to do what? What nature did G-d give you in your emotional make up first. Whats the first nature that we find in the baby?

The nature is to be at rest. Nature of water is to be at rest. If you leave water alone it becomes still. It rests. And its not satisfied until it has found its resting place. It wont stop on a curve. It cant rest on no curve, no hill. No if anything it goes on down, and it feels the crevasses and everything, and it levels out. Right? Becomes perfectly level. I remember, - I think they still have them. I used to work with a carpenter, and we had a level with liquid in the glass to make sure that whatever we was doing was level, or at the right angle. Alright, so its saying that the true knowledge of G-d is in the pool. In the pool of what? In the pool of our sensitivities that want to be at rest. At rest, what do we mean here? Wants understanding. Wants understanding.

Elijah Muhammad was one of those black people, or African Americans of the ghetto who was not satisfied with what the white man had given him. He was one of the, what they call the discontented masses. And we know his history, his family. My grandmother and many others have told us about him. Said his father was a preacher, but he never would stay in the church. And he would argue with his father who was a Baptist preacher for fifty years down south in Georgia. My father would always argue with him. My father wouldnt go through the school, the class for the ministers. He would read the Bible on his own, and then he would argue with those who were being taught the Bible.

And he didnt have anything to argue with him with, but the jawbone of an ass. Then along comes the mystic and picks up the jawbone of the ass. Then he used the jawbone of the ass to beat the army of the New Testament. Alright, so Poole dont forget that. Elijah Poole. Now who was Elijah? Elijah is light. How do we know that? Elijah is not only a name, Elijah is light. Elijah is also fire. How do we know this? Because the Bible says that Elijah was terminated in a whirlwind of fire. The Bible also says that Jesus, (peace be upon the prophet) he took his disciples up into the mountain to show them himself. But he showed them at first Elijah as light, and Moses as light, and as they looked at the two they thought Jesus according to the New Testament was trying to instruct them to not to look at me no more, they thought he was telling them Im going away. Dont look at me no more, dont follow me no more. Now follow the light of Elijah and Moses. This is the New Testament.

But when they saw the two lights, Elijah and Moses the two embodiments of light merged together into one light, and they looked around for Jesus and they couldnt see him, they couldnt find him. Then they understood that what he was saying is that me and myself, me and my mission I am the light of Elijah, and the light of Moses merged into one light. They call it the configuration. Is that not right? Some of you, you know about it. Alright, now Elijah is not a body, dont think of my father, the reason why the man picked him was because his name was Elijah, because he was that person, he had the genes. No he picked him because he had the name. And Im sure he had run into other Elijahs. In my life, in this community Ive ran into many Elijahs. But to my knowledge no Elijah Poole. I imagine I could run into an Elijah Poole too, but I havent. He ran into an Elijah Poole. Im sure he said, my G-d, just the fellow Ive been looking for. He said boy this will carry a good message. Elijah in the pool.

Okay, so what did Elijah say to let you know that his language carried a sign of the evidence of proof that such a man that Im presenting to you right now as his mystic teacher taught him. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad said that my ministers are a flame of fire. Isnt that what he said? He said my ministers are a flame of fire. Thats tied in with Elijah. Elijah they say means Jehovah is G-d. Jehovah is G-d. So what does it mean? Fire is G-d. But fire is symbolic of something else. What is fire symbolic of? Knowledge, science. What is it also symbolic of? Passions. And people in the history, - now dont say the Imam is teaching us wrong, this aint Islamic. Hey man Im talking to you. And you are suppose to know how to place what Im telling you by the way Im giving it to you. Put it in its proper place as Im giving it to you.

I didnt say this came from the Holy Quran. Straighten up Yacub. Shabazz 56x. Alright so what they are saying is that fire is G-d, and then they give us a Jesus and they say he is the son of man. A play on sun, and sun is a ball of fire. The Iranians used to worship fire as their god. Did you know that? Yes, and may other people used to worship fire as their god. And it was a revelation that saved them from that. Allah says in the Quran, Oh man worship neither the sun of the moon, but worship the Lord who created them both. So we know that their concept of G-d is wrong, but never the less here is a mystic, one of the twenty-four now he comes and finds his man among the donkeys. And doesnt the Bible say, - Im not just talking about the negro, Im talking about the ignorant masses. Thats why the Hon. Elijah Muhammad in the last part of his mission, he got a revelation.

Not from Allah, he got a revelation form the knowledge, from the message he was given, and he said, no Im not just the messenger to the black man. He said Im the messenger to you all. Isnt that what he said? Why? Because he came to know that really the sign that he represented was not a message that speaks to black only. The sign that he represented was a message that spoke to world. Brother imam, be careful. You be careful. My light is green. Praise be to Allah. Alright, now here is a man that was told things that he began to see, gradually. And it began to open up. You know sometimes when youre working a puzzle every piece is just as difficult. But sometimes you throw together about five pieces and the rest of them become, - just go into place. Well see understanding comes in spurts like that. You work on something for years, and you just manage to see a few parts to the puzzle, but all of a sudden it just comes in spurts.

On the basis of what youve already seen the insight or the feeling into the other just makes it gel. Everything just gels all of a sudden, goes together, and I believe in the last days of the Hon. Elijah Muhammads life, most likely in that time period when I was giving him hell. I believe that he saw deep into his own thing, and when he saw it he didnt tell me like he used to tell me before. He said, son you got it wrong. He told me that at one time, but when he saw it do you know what he told me? He didnt tell me, he told the whole table and staff and family, my mother was sitting there. He said, our son got it. He said, Clara, isnt this what we hoped for? He said my son got it.

Now what was he listening to? You can get a copy of it. Go the Chicago and go to that radio station, and we can give you the information and go to that radio station and tell them to give you a copy of my talk on that radio program. Thats what he was listening to when he jumped up and said my sons got. And if you listen to that you wouldnt understand. You wouldnt understand anything. Because do you know what that talk was on that show? Mythological gods, the burden on America. Thats what my topic was. Mythological gods, the burden on America. Now I didnt tell the people that (unclear) was a mythological god and hes burdening America. And I didnt tell them that Fard Muhammad was a mythological god and that hes burdening America, but I think they got a hint.

Because the lady said I just want to read that book. When you get through with that book, - I told her the book I was writing and I was discussing it, - and I was, and I was discussing it on her program. She said I want to have you back on when you get the book, and please give me a copy. And the Hon. Elijah Muhammad heard it and jumped up out of his seat. He clapped, my sons got it, and his face flushed with blood. Thats right.
Got many witnesses to that. And this was the tape that the officers of the F.O.I. brought to him to bust me. They thought they were going to get me put out again, and instead of him reacting like they thought, he said, Shah (Yusef Shah the minister in Chicago), he said, dont you talk all of the time, and hold my son up. I want him to talk. You see Yusef Shah would talk and when I get up there the night was spent, or the day was spent, and my father didnt like that. He would say you let him talk, I want him to talk, dont you take up the time like that.

Thats what he told Yusef Shah, and when I was getting ready to leave and I was greeting him, we all were getting ready to leave he said, I want you all to know that my son can go anywhere he wants and teach. Then he looked at me and said, and son preach that gospel. He was talking about what he heard on that tape. He said, and son preach that gospel. This is the man that my competitors, those who are in competition with me called a traitor. The one who betrayed the Hon. Elijah Muhammad.

Okay lets take that off, - we aint going to be here too much longer. Lets continue. What did he say also? He said that there are two germs in the black man. A white germ and a brown germ. And he said the white germ was grafted out in to a white man, the white European man, Caucasian, Thats what he said. Right? He said but there exists in us the brown germ. He said but I was told there was coming a time when hes going to take that out of us too. Isnt that what he said?

Alright, Okay. Now here is the black conceived as being the best. Conceived as being original. Then I said black means spirit, thats what I said earlier didnt I. Black means spiritual embodiment. Black. Okay, now when we are born here fresh into the world do we know our bodies? We dont even know how to walk. We cant sit up. We cant talk. We cant use our body, but we are alive in that body that we dont know the use of. Is that not right? So what are we at that time? Spirit. Our form is spiritual, and we show emotions, we show temperaments, we show fits of spirit, etc. Right? Under certain conditions, but as we get older then we are able to use out body. We show social intelligence, etc. Right? Okay, it says black man is the original man, and that part is the best part of him, and when he conceives wrong ideas then he gives himself to another part of himself. He gives himself to the germs white or brown according to this particular mythical or mystical science. Alright.

What does the white represent? Oh, you say the white man. What is man? Man is mind isnt it? Yes. When youre a boy youre not able to manage your own mind. So grown ups, your parents or grown ups have to manage, supervise your own mind for you. Is that not right? So youre a boy. Youre not a developed mind. Youre not able to manage your own mind, but when you become a man, then youre a mind. That means that you have developed the ability to operate, to function as a mind. You see? Thats what it means, and that requires a certain direction in your mind. Right? And that direction is spirit isnt it? Yes, that direction is spirit. If youre not directed or influence toward a certain direction, then your mind doesnt have a direction. But if your interest or the influence in your mental make-up has a direction, it serves to order and direct your whole mind, and your whole body, your whole life, your environment, everything.

Alright, so it said the Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she became pregnant with child. What is a child? What is the sign of pregnancy with child? When the germ fertilizes the egg and grow toward a definite form, a definite goal began. Is that not right? So the ghost overshadowed her. So were talking about the black man. Were talking about you now. Now you are black, right? You are black. You see? Thats what they say you are black. If the black overpowers you what will happen? If the black overpowers you, If the spirit of your nature overpowers you, then youll come under nature. Meaning this; you are given now to just spirit, to do this, to do that on impulse. You see? But if that ever overpowers you and overpower means that it takes control over your mind. If that ever takes control over your mind then your mind to follow your appetite will stop.
And when your mind to follow your appetite stop then youll going to come under natural process. The natural process. And the natural process will evolve you from zero to one on up to the eight.

Can you follow what Im saying? I think you can. I dont think I need to give you any more information. Alright now he says that the black is good. It is, but black can be bad cant it. It can be bad until that nature either overpowers you or light comes in to the darkness. If light comes in to the darkness, you got hope. If the darkness overpowers you, that is it dominates your own thinking, and prevents you from following your own crazy, haphazard life, and brings you under the force of fear. Isnt fear original? And fear is black. Fear is a spirit, and brings you under the force of fear. If you ever can come under the force of fear then you will start finding the way.

So you either have to be brought under fear or you have to be shown the light. When the white man had most of the African-Americans under fear here in America they were trying to live intelligent lives. When they broke from the grip of fear they started destroying themselves. Isnt that a fact? Alright, okay, were talking about black. You didnt know black had that much knowledge in it.

Praise be to Allah. This is good for us. Alright, now he says theres a white germ and a brown germ in the original man, in the black man, and if you can mate the lighter germ with the lighter germ you will eventually be able to graft the color completely out of its original color, which is black in to white. Now we know white has a good meaning. White means pure. Right? Yes, so white has a good meaning. White means innocent. White has a good meaning. But white also has a bad meaning. Now from what source? In what source does white have a bad meaning? In scripture. The Bible says, and their color is not the color of the children of G-d, but the color of leprosy. Leprosy is white, so thats a white thats white, but its bad. Leprosy in the skin is the absence of pigmentation in the skin. The absence of pigmentation in the skin means what? The absence of that emotional nature to be given to its emotional pattern or its emotional disciplines. Some red, some yellow, some green, some blue. Different colors represent different emotional disciplines, or different emotional orientations in the make-up of the human being.

Alright, so if pigmentation is gone, and theres nothing but white, then thats not the white of innocence, thats not the white of purity. Thats the white of disease. Leprosy is a disease, and the word leprosy is a play on the word leopard. Play on leopard. The leper is the one that has spots. Right? And leprosy has spots and blemishes in the skin, right. And a leopard is not a lion. A lion is a dignified king. He doesnt fool you. He lets you know, youre in trouble buddy. But the leopard goes about all sneaky like. You dont even know the leopard is going to attack you. Goes all about creeping. If the leopard catches you looking at it the leopard will turn his head like hes not interested in you. Then all of a sudden that leopard pounces upon you. Right? The leopard is a sneaky animal. Hes a sneak. So the leprosy in the skin represents the deceiving mind, and the Bible and the Quran calls the devil the arch deceiver.

Hey, what brother imam, you helping the Farakhan and them. Well telling Im helping him. Maybe hell come on back. Praise be to Allah. Alright, so one white represents innocence. It represents innocent conscious. It represents open mindedness. It represents moral goodness, purity. One white. The other white represents the absence of the human nature in the emotional make up. When does the human nature leave the emotional make up? When you think that you have a knowledge that you should live by, and that that knowledge is what you should trust, and not your own emotional make up or your heart, or the emotional nature of the society, then you have become a white devil. That is if your plan is to protect or secure the moral life of society. Now here you have a man, a white man, his plan, his whole strategy is to secure the moral life of the society. Right? But in doing that now he has learned a science that he can use on society to take them in and out of their nature.

And in taking them in and out of their nature he violates the principle of faith. He violates the principle of love. He violates the principle of human emotionality. Or you following me? What Im saying is perfectly clear, but Ill slow down and back up if I have to. Alright, now so that person, when they take on that nature they become a white devil. I told you he was going to teach the Hon. Elijah Muhammads teachings. I told you he was going to come back to the old teachings. Didnt I tell you that brother? Man this teaching is older that Elijah Muhammad, older than Fard, older than all of them. The Bible says, and that serpent, Satan, the devil transformed himself into an angel of light.
Thats leprosy. Allah didnt make us to be angels. Allah made us to be rational emotional beings, not angels. Thats leprosy, but you dont understand it, because G-d hasnt shown it to you. Alright, or the devil didnt share it with you.

So he says, white means weak bone, and stale face. Remember that? Weak bone and stale face. What is bone? Bone represents the part in the structure that gives structure and strength to the form. Right? So what does it represent in the mental make up? It represents logic. Bone represents logic. Its the moral logic. Weak bone, means his moral logic is weak, and stale face. What is a stale face? That there is no life in his face. He looks dead in the face. Thats Catholicism. Yeah, and thats the essence of Christianity when you see it in its symbolism. Its nothing but asceticism. Most Christians cant live Christianity, and they dont even require of you that you live Christianity. The require of you that you live nothing but the principle of the live for Christ, and your fellowman. I give you but one commandment, love G-d with all your heart, and your fellowman as your self. Isnt that it?

Thats not Christianity, thats one principle. Thats not Christianity. You cant live Christianity. So Christianity has to be lived by strange fellows. The Pope, excuse me, you can tell him. He wont do nothing but laugh. Hell say ha, ha, ha, my god, really did a black man say that? I dont believe it. Ha, ha, ha, really? Where is he from? Say Chicago. What? You mean a nigger? Say hes Elijahs son. Oh,... well Elijah he didnt like us. No telling what that nigger was capable of (Laughter).

Praise be to Allah. This is wonderful. Alright, so he said theyre weak boned and stale faced. Right? Were talking about white, the so-called white. See you were told white, but when I was a child they didnt teach it to us like that. They said who is the colored man. Thats how we were taught it. The answer is the so-called white man, not the true white man, the so-called white man or Caucasian. Yacubs grafted devil, the skunk of this planet earth. And I bear witness that thats true. Thats just what they are. The coloring man who colored us black and used his secret language to put us beneath everybody else. He is the skunk of this planet earth. Praise be to Allah.

This is Al-Islam. This aint Islam. Islam means your Islam. Al-Islam means the Quran religion. Yes, and I can prove that from the Quran. It says, count not your Islam as a favor to G-d. It says, Islamakum, - your Islam as a favor to G-d, but its a favor to you. Right? And Allah says in the Quran, on this day has he perfected His religion and completed His favor on you, and has chosen for you Al-Islam. Now you deal with that spook. Too late for you, too late. You cant argue with me, believe me. Im talking to the donkey head nigga thats still here. And he shouldnt be here. I just got rid of his donkey form and transformed him into a superman, and hes still here with that donkey head. Im surprised.

Alright, praise be to Allah. Now he said there is coming a time when he is going to graft that brown germ out of you. What is the brown germ? Brown is a combination of two colors. Right? Red and yellow I believe. You who paint you should now. Is that correct? Do you make brown by mixing red and yellow? I thought so, okay. So what is brown? Red and yellow. Were talking about colors as interests, as spirit, as passion. Right? Passion an emotional trend. A color, an emotional trend. So were talking about it as a passion. So passion is what? An appetite in your spiritual make-up is a passion. Is that not right? Okay, so if brown is going to be grafted out of us, what is that brown? A passion for your blood. Red is blood. And blood is symbolic of that? Blood is symbolic of the appetite in your social make-up.

Right? Its the appetite in your social make-up. Now what is the appetite in your social make-up? The appetite in your social make-up, the basic, - cause after all these colors are called basic colors. Arent they? The appetite in your basic make-up, social make-up is what? Sex. Is that not right? Sex, hugging, kissing, having fun, playing. Right? Thats red, thats why they say stop. Yes, before you kill somebody or your self. But we know red has another meaning too, just like white has a good meaning and a bad meaning. Theyre seven colors, and theyre seven good, and seven bad. Alright, where is that in the scripture? It will help you all out a whole lot with the help of G-d. Jacob had to work for two wives. Right? He worked seven years for one, seven years for the other. The one that he had to work for first, he didnt want that woman. That was Leah. Seven bad.

Then he worked for the good one, Rachel and he got her, - that was the one he wanted. Seven good. Right? Do you have more proof of it? Yes. The Bible said when the mother gave birth to the prophet Samuel. She said, The Lord has blessed me, I have gotten seven sons in one son. Right? Thats the Bible.

Okay, alright, so lets keep going. So now he says hes going to graft the brown color out so brown has a bad meaning. This is a bad meaning for brown. The bad meaning is that you have a passion for the basic urge, or the basic passion in your social make-up. Now isnt that our problem? See we reject this man because he was wrong. He was just as wrong as Yacub was. Hes just as wrong as the renegade Jew was who sold European man the New Testament. Yes, just as wrong as they were. Hes wrong, but that doesnt do away with the fact that the man was brilliant, the man was a scientist, the man was wise in the knowledge that he was teaching in. That doesnt do away with that fact. Didnt the Hon. Elijah Muhammad tell us even the devil is wise? He said dont underestimate him. He said his father taught him well. He said he is wise.

Alright, understand it. Were not glorifying him, were exposing him. Aright, now he said that one day they want to take that brown color out of us. The brown representing now yellow which is mixed with the red. Here is a curiosity. Yellow represent curiosity. It represents caution, but yellow represents curiosity, because after all when youre cautious you become curious. You see a lot of us, - its hard for you to make the connection. How is caution and curiosity the same? Curiosity is a caution. Yes, curiosity is a caution, you see. So yellow represents a lot of things. It represents caution, it represents also curiosity. so when curiosity comes into the red, a passion to know comes into the passion for the social life, for the crazy things, thats danger. So they dont want that. In its ugly meaning thats danger, and thats what we have. We have a whole lot of so-called, free, massive, especially African-Americans who now feel free and they have all of these curiosities that fools go in where wise men dare to thread.

They have all these curiosities, they want to try everything out, and hes under his social instinct, all he wants to do is hump and bump. So his whole camp is in trouble. Right? Whole camp is in a mess, yes. So he said in one day hes going to take that brown germ out of him. Well buddy, look here, thats happening right now. My mission has been that particular job. Taking that bad brown germ out of you. Oh yes. And I think Ive been killing the white man too. Not the good white man, the leper. Oh yes, and he said dont you do it Elijah, leave it to me. He said you cant kill the devil. He said you will make a mistake. Youll be killing some of your own people. Well Fard, go on and rest. We dont need you no more. I can handle this job by myself. Your day is over. Ive peeped your top card.

Alright, do you see how quiet they get. You go in a church and you can bring the light as clear as day to a church, but if you start talking about Jesus, oh man, you are going to get some vibrations. Now see Fard has been put to us a G-d, and when Im talking about your god, you start getting quiet, - slow down man. Well thats your god, thats not my G-d. I dont need him. I dont need him at all. Never needed him. Right, never needed him. No. I needed Allah.

(Gap in the recording)

Yes, but the body was created by G-d on the pattern of that original nature, until it gets out of that. Right? So when the original spirit leaves me and another spirit comes in me that is not original then it bids my body to go off the pattern of its original nature. So when we say nature were talking about black. They call Africa black Africa. Why? What the white man meant when he said, black Africa, he meant culture hadnt come there. Now wasnt that bastard awfully daring? Oh dont talk about the white man like that. Thats a bastard, what are you talking about. I dont know whats wrong with you, you Uncle Tom headed freak. And please leave all of this in the script. If you put this out as script, please put it all out, - dont leave a word out. Uncle Tom headed freak, I want that to go in there.

Alright, we live in a world that thinks in white and black, and they want us to keep thinking in white and black. That means you either live in their white, and their white is the white of leprosy. White consciousness in this country on this earth is the white of leprosy. Its deceit. They want you to either live in white or in black. Their black is not the black of the original nature. Their black is the black of ignorance, the black of spirit outside of its native body. A mind thats not being in the context of its native body. Thats what their black is. Now you look at the world how it behaves. Look at them how they look on Soul Train, and on TV, and on the opera. Look at them how they act at the shows that you go to. Look at them on the street corner walking up and down the streets on Saturday nights and Friday nights. Look at the people out there at any time, and tell me dont they look like human beings that have lost contact with their original bodies. Thats their black, not the black of the original nature.

Let us go on now. We come not to another concept in scripture, bread. And Im going to go the board to put bread up. If youre real tired, I dont care if you stand up and get you legs, - stand up while Im at the board. Just stand up and work your legs. (Writing on the chalk board).

Alright, did that help you out a little bit there? I hope so. Now if you look to the board, and you see the word on the board is bread. Now a good teacher, - say you have a child that cant pronounce the word bread, a good teacher if that child doesnt have some really physical defect, a good teacher can teach that child to pronounce that br. How do you do it? You separate it. You separate it into its phonetic units, ba. Dont try to make him say br. If you keep saying bread and he cant say it, stop saying bread, br to him. Say ba. Tell the child to say ba not br, but most of us will say, - if the child cant pronounce bread we will say, br, br. We keep trying to get him to say br. Dont try to do that. Get him to say, ba, he can say that, ba. Then say, say ba, hell say, ba. Then say, now say red. Now say ba red. Say say it faster, ba red, ba red, ba red bread.

Right? Okay thats the way you do it. Now we want to break that word down in to its phonetic units. Bread is ba read. So we know ba is the second letter in the alphabet, isnt it? Second letter in the alphabet, and we have red, R.E.A.D, and it can be pronounced reed, right Now lets go and look at two other words. We are going to take that off (the blackboard), - dont forget, keep that in your mind, ba read, and were going to look at the language. English has B following the first letter like Arabic. There after it changes. Arabic has, - this is the most original and purest of the Semitic languages, Arabic. Arabic has the same, A, B. A stands for what A, Alif. What does alif mean? It means your sociable nature. The social sentiments in your make-up. Thats alif. Thats what comes first. Baa stands for reflex. Two things now. You have the social influence, and also your own direction, and they influence each other.

Your social, the life that is formed in the social context, and now your own ambition, right? These two things are working together now. Thats baa, thats the second step. First, one nature (Arabic), then its mate, baa, alright. Please dont laugh at what I give you. If you cant laugh at what Ive told you so far, you cant laugh at anything I say. Please dont be donkeys dont be fools. Be wise, and have great respect.

Now, okay so here is bread beginning with the second letter. So its not the bread then, its not the sensitivity, the social sensitivity. It is passion that comes in to that social sensitivity. See we get passions, we become ambitious dont we. Were born as babies in the social context of life and were influenced by that loving environment of the family and everything, but after awhile we get our own ambition, and sometimes our own ambition causes us to separate from our family. Right? So thats the ba, your own ambition. So here we have the ba, and the read. So here is our passions, our ambitions connected with read.

Now what is the read? The read is R.E.D. Read is also red color, R.E.D. This red is what I told you, the social passions. You have the social nature then the social passions, right? Okay so this is the social passion. This is the bad one Im talking about now, not the good one, this is the bad one. Alright, and also we get out of that word read, how do you pronounce it, pronounce it reed, right? So now lets put reed (writing it on the board). What is reed? A reed is a cane like plant. A reed is that part of the plant thats like a hollow pipe, or a hollow stem or something, right? And it goes up, and its hollow in the center. Reed, you know reed pipe, the flute. So thats a reed. Its hollow inside, theres nothing but air inside. On the outside is its form, and its form is circular, and its form grows up straight, right?

So here reed stands for the upwards spirit. Straight, disciplined upward spirit, and its either that, - read its either this, - reed, straight upward spirit, upright spirit, or its red, passionate ambition, right? Thats the bread. So the bread tells us the possibilities in your drive, right? Your possibilities is either to follow a course that takes you up, or its to follow ambitions that just take you out. Right? Okay, so ba read. Let us go on with this. Bread is called the staff of life isnt it? Now we have looked at the phonetic connections here. Ba red, ba reed, and connected it with the social affections. How those affections start out natural, and develop into our own personal ambitions, right? Okay, now we come to graphic message, and phonetic connection.

And bread is made or baked into what we call loaves, right? Now loaf, what does loaf mean? Loaf of bread. What does loaf mean? L.O.A.F. Now if you dont mind Ill go to the blackboard again. L.O.A.F., loaf, right? How does a loaf look? Lets make the shape of a loaf here (drawing on the blackboard). A load looks like this kind of, right? Does that kind of look like a loaf? Doesnt a coffin look like that too? Now they say bread is the staff of life. I dont know about that loaf. Alright, so thats a loaf, it looks like a coffin. Its a body with no branches. A body with no limbs. So if they are talking about me, and Jesus said, I am the bread, right? If they are talking about me now, a human being, - Im not Jesus now, dont get crazy. I hope you can keep up with me.

Now if you take my limbs off, take all my limbs off. Take my neck off, take every branch off this body. Everything thats branching off of my body, take it off. Wont you have a loaf? Take everything thats branching off of my body and you got a loaf. Alright, and what do they call a person who is just idle? His direction is nothing but idle time, - a loafer.

(Next tape)

... Now lets look at another form of bread they call, rolls. Now we know a roll is round isnt it? You can make different rolls with different shapes, some are square, but if theyre shaped square they have a round top. The top is rounded, right? Call them rolls. Now we know its too hard for them to.. .just make the top round well just call them rolls. You see the man thats doing the language, he doesnt care what you think, as long as he knows what hes talking about. Now what is rolls? Loaf means just hanging around. Directed by idle time, just idling his time away. Okay now roll means youre moving, but youre rolling. Now if this roll is rolling lets look and see whats happening to it. Its motion is going in one way or the other, right?

Lets say its motion is going this way. Whats happening to that object as it progresses along a line of travel? Its going up and down, right? Thats how its progressing. Its progressing by going up and down. And they gave us rock and roll, right? So the rolling is a movement by rising and falling. Thats how you roll, thats how you progress, rolling along by rising and falling. Now did you ever hear any prophet say lets roll on to the next meeting? The prophet says pick up your bed and walk. He didnt say roll.

Lets look at another bread now that they make. Biscuits. A lot of us dont know the difference between rolls and biscuits. We go to a restaurant and see biscuits and say, can you give me one of those rolls? And the one that knows the differences says, no this is a biscuit. What is a biscuit? A biscuit is something that has been cooked over. Thats the definition for it. A biscuit is something that has been cooked over, - double cooked. Thats the definition for it. Now can you remember the Hon. Elijah Muhammad in the years immediately proceeding his passing away introducing a new bread, a new cake for us? He said cook it over. He said cook it twice. And I went to my house man, after being away for a while expecting to get some of my mothers homemade cake, - man my mother could cook! She could handle the food, believe me.

She said, would you like to have some cake? I said, yeah, you know I want some cake I havent eaten any cake since I was here last, and man she came out with that biscuit cake. Cooked twice. And she knew something was wrong, - see Im the kind of person, - I dont complain. I was eating it, and my mother could tell that something was wrong. So she said, son, thats not the cake that I used to cook. She said, your father told us to cook it twice. And it wasnt funny to me. So I tried it. I always have been curious, so then I tried to start thing how was it improved by cooking it twice? I said I dont know. I just gave it up, until I found the meaning in the symbolism. And Im sure the mystic called him up, or wrote him a letter and told him that the best bread is cooked twice, and cakes too should be cooked twice. And my father just took it and told the community now cook it twice.

He followed without question. I said to myself, (unclear). Now we understands what it means, cook it twice. Now when we were given one idea of G-d and life in a made up package. After all, bread is made up, right? That did a job for so long. After a while it became dull to us. It wasnt exciting us no more. Then the Hon. Elijah Muhammad came out with new bread. Im going to identify if for you. The Theology of Time was the Hon. Elijah Muhammads second bread. So then he said cook it over. Alright.

Is that the way you want to live? Is that the way you want to progress? Fixed to emotion thats going to take you down and up just to get that distance. You go up then you fall, just to get that distance. And look at the white man, everything, all of his best transportation is on wheels. That should tell you something. That his world represents up and down. And isnt that what it has been for you and me? Up and down, up and down, up and down? We dont have a constant line of progress. Its nothing but up and down. Were going, - already, youre right. Were going. Out of the 40s into the 50s, and 60s and 70s and 80s, - were going alright. Up and down.

Now the biscuit, spelled like this B.I.S.C.U.I.T. right? Now biscuit, now theres the word called circuit, right? What is a circuit? So you got biscuit and circuit, and circuit is ending like biscuit is ending, and its bread, right? Cir means what? To go in a circle, and the last part circuit it means a charge thats going in a circuit, right? And you have in your house the circuit breaker, right? Something gets wrong with on of the fuses, or a light goes out or something, you go down and hit the circuit breaker, right? So here you got circuit thats a charge thats contained. Cir means to contain. So you got a charge thats contained, its confined, right? And here you got biscuit. Biscuit is also a spirit thats contained. It aint circuit, its biscuit, but I just put that up there (on the board) to help you out a little bit.

Help you out in what way? In the direction of faith. Because you are a rebellious people. A stiffed necked, a stubborn, a rebellious people. Im not talking about the good ones, Im talking about you. You know your names. Alright, what is this biscuit? Lets look at this biscuit and see the difference between rolls or bread, ordinary bread. A biscuit is something cooked over, and a biscuit is something that they call un-raised bread. Now if Jesus had said he is the body of the bread, thats the key. Thats a clue, thats a key to tell you that bread is a symbol, a wisdom symbol. Its a symbol that holds great wisdom. My body aint no bread, but the wisdom that now has been locked up in the symbol bread is my body.

My body of what? My body of knowledge. Okay, alright this biscuit is bread called biscuit its made by combining with the wheat, water, but also these three special ingredients to make biscuits, - carbonate. Acid and starch. I remember the old folks used to make biscuits with soda. Remember that? Baking soda, why? Because it takes acid and it has carbonate. Its called a bicarbonate of soda, right? And it creates its acid, and if you put the starch with it, you put the baking soda, and you put a little starch, mix it with the flour, and you make your biscuits, right? Alright. So what does this represent in the language? Were talking about language here, and dont forget the topic. These are revelations, insights, but what is out topic, what does it mean? Did you forget it? The need for healthy sensitivities in our community. In our family, and in the community.

Its called un-raised bread. Its also called yeast, - what you put in the biscuit, the flower. Its called yeast that is derived differently. Now we know yeast ordinarily comes from, - first yeast came from the stomach of the lamb, - yeast. Its an agent in the stomach of the lamb, the digestive system of the lamb. And they took that yeast, they found out that that yeast would create air. A chemical reaction that makes air comes out, and the air would give inflation, it would inflate the bread, the dough and it would make the dough, not flat, but make the dough rise, and it would also make the dough have an easier texture to chew on. It makes it easier to chew. It makes it nice chewing.

So they found that out in just experimenting as bakers, the history of baking. Alright, so here is this dough it doesnt rise un-raised bread we call it, and its cooked over. Acid now in the bread. Did any acid come into Jesus bread? He called his body the bread. Did any acid come into his body? If acid came into his body then what Im giving you is a description of what happened to his knowledge, his message. Thats what Im doing. Ill leave it you to accept it or leave it alone or (unclear). Whatever you want it doesnt matter with me. It doesnt matter with me a bit. Its for your good if you accept it. If you dont accept it thats your business.

Alright, so when Jesus was on the cross the Bible said that he said I thirst, and instead of bringing him water they brought him vinegar. Ask any chemist what is vinegar he will tell you acid. Its a mild acid. So they brought Jesus acid, and they put acid into his body or they put acid into the bread. So they changed his bread into a biscuit. Something made over, and something that doesnt rise up. And according to the Bible, after they did that they took him down off the cross and put him in a cave that had never been used before in the language of the New Testament. Alright, and he did not rise until the roll was removed from the mouth of the cave. How do you remove the roll? You have to learn the direction of logic in G-ds scheme. Then you dont have this old up and down movement. This old wheel. Oh yes.

When we make the hajj, dont we go into a wheel? You go to the hajj and you go into a circle. And we make seven circuits, right? We start the circuit off by doing what? (unclear) the symbol or touching the corner of the black stone, right? From black then we go into the colors, right? And we go seven times around, right? And when we stop, we stop at that corner and go out, right? Go out from the point of original nature. You cant go out at any point you want to. You have to go in the door of original nature, and come out of the door of original nature. Thats the only way you can circle, and be right. Circles in the world take you up and down, and youll never find your direction.

Okay, let us go on now. So they say that he said, I thirst, and they brought him hyssop and vinegar. Hyssop represents the carbonate and the starch. They say that hyssop is something to treat high blood pressure. What do you mean by, I want to treat high blood pressure?. What is the expression for treating high blood pressure? What is another way of saying I want to treat high blood pressure? I want to bring the blood pressure down. Right? You want to bring the blood pressure down. So to bring it down you use hyssop, but here they mixed hyssop and acid together, and it wasnt just to bring it down, but it was to bring it down and keep it down. So it wouldnt rise up again.

Alright? Okay, now wheat, it all starts with wheat doesnt it? Jesus, his body wasnt no barley bread. How do we know that his body wasnt no barley bread, - he talked about wheat. He didnt talk about barley and rye, and other things they make bread out of, right? He talked about wheat. So wheat, lets look at wheat now. Youll be on your own in a few minutes. Lets put wheat up here (writing on the board). Wheat is spelled, W.H.E.A.T. Now look at this word, lets start with the W itself. W, what is W? Its just what it says, two Us. Aright, thats what W is, - two yous. Alright, it starts with two yous, right. What else is double you? W is a letter that asks questions. With W we say what, we say why, we say who, we say when, we say where. So W is our questioning letter. Its the signal for asking questions. Two, Us, for asking questions. Say, what am I teacher? Well you are a homosapien. What is that? A thinking being.

That aint enough. You want to something about something else, right? And youre never satisfied. I havent found a person that was satisfied with the definition they give us for ourselves. Only the definition that Allah gives us in scripture satisfies us. Allah doesnt only say that we are thinking beings, or were homosapiens, or were this or were that. Allah says you are kalifa. You have been put on this earth to be in charge of your self and your environment. That satisfies. So theyre two of us here in this body, right? One of us of the world, trying to satisfy the world, and the other one is the one that G-d created to satisfy Him.

Alright, so we have wheat, and it starts of with, W. This conflict. It starts off with this conflict, and the wheat starts with a seed, doesnt it? Its a little seed thats dead. You cant get no plant from no living seed. The seed must first die in order for it to come to life again. Is that not right? The farmer is crazy if he starts planting live seeds. He plant dead seeds. Seeds that have died to their sensitivity. All the water is out of them.

Alright, so then he puts the seed in the ground, and when the right conditions come the seed burst forth. It has to get a new life, new moisture. It lost all of its moisture, but now it gets new moisture, and in the right temperature, and in the right environment, physical environment it burst out of its coffin, and up comes the new life. The structure, right? And what about this wheat? Its a member of the grass family. And grass doesnt have branches like a tree. Grass has tongues as its branches. We call it blades. So their tongues branches off from the grass. Look at the blade of the grass, and it looks like a tongue, shaped like a tongue. So it has tongues branching off of it. It wants to speak. Thats its urge. The area of a wheat is a talk. And the scripture says, and Jesus spoke while he was yet in the cradle.

So the wheat comes up, tongues shooting out. It wants to talk. Give me language! What language does it want now? Because after all the blades that looks like tongues, theyre just saying I want to talk. I want understanding. I want language. But what is the fruit of that effort? The language of the knowledge of its nature, its origin. What is that told in. Were talking about symbolism. Thats told in the maturity of the wheat. The wheat doesnt mature in fruit of that type. It matures in a seed. It starts with a seed, and its object is seed. So the object of the wheat is to bare in the open. To bare out in the conscious. The ground represents the nature, the potential. It wants to come out of the nature in to the conscious. And it wants to see its own nature, its own origin. So it bares a seed, the very thing that it sprung from, right? So it represents what they call, ontological, or the knowledge to know your self. To know self, where you came from.

Theres eschatological, and ontological. Eschatological wants to know what the end is. Ontological experiences wants to know what I am. Where I came from. Arent those two big heavy questions on the human being? Where I came from, where Im going. And in your traveling, what do you want to know? To travel well, what do you have to know? Your point of origin, and where youre going. Because if you start off traveling not knowing your point of origin, most likely youre going to get lost.

Now since were talked about that,W there now lets break it up again. This is what the devil didnt want me to give you all. This is what he worked so hard to keep me out of, and to keep me from giving you all. But the angels came, and they helped me beat his ass. Now look at this word, - oh theyre in trouble, believe me, look at this word now, you have heat, H.E.A.T. spells heat. Right? So you have two yous a double you and another factor here, heat. You dont get no wheat without heat. Alright, what does heat represent? See, asceticism is cold aint it? Thats a cold life. Nuns and monks. Thats a cold life man. You aint going to have no growth toward your destiny, or in to your reality without some heat. You can grow into a monk or a nun or a hermit of some kind, but you aint going to turn out to be no real human being unless you get some heat. Now this heat is not just heat, but its also eat. And you just cant eat in the heat anywhere. Eat At. Have a direction for your eating. Eat at something. Allah Akbar. See youre either at or away from.

What do we call the wheat in Arabic? Ill put the word on the board (writing on the board). Its qamah thats wheat. Now look what the language tells us. It tells us something, the Arabic language tells us something. Lets take the H off, H stands for nothing but the spirit (erases the H). What is that word? Qama What does qama mean? Stand up. Qama means to do this, stand. Now isnt our problem the absence or the ability or the guidance to stand up for ourselves? To establish ourselves? Stand means establish. So Qama means stand, establish, qamatis salah, stand for prayer, establish worship. Right? Okay, so qama means stand or establish yourself. How? Spiritually. (Arabic), establish yourself spiritually. How do you establish yourself spiritually? With the guidance of G-d. Thats the only thing that can establish you spiritually. And believe me thats the great challenge for human beings, to establish themselves spiritually. Show me any people thats not following a sensible or progressive line of light, Ill show you a people who are spiritually unestablished. Ill show you a people who are the victims of warring or conflicting spirits. So what is the staff of life then? If bread or wheat is the staff of life, what is the staff of life? To establish yourself spiritually. Oh yes, praise be to Allah.

Lets go on now. We have the surah of the Quran called Surah Al Quraish, the chapter called the Quraish. What is this Quraish? Its the name of a group. A human group. A tribe. A human grouping, a family, a tribe. And Allah says in that chapter (Arabic), for the protection of the Quraish. Arent you a family group? Arent you an ethnic group? We dont call it tribe anymore, but arent we a big tribe in America? Sure youre a big tribe. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad called us at the words of the mystic, the tribe of Shabazz. We dont want to just hear this and hear it, and hear it, with no connection. We dont want it to be suspended. We want to make it touch ground. We want to connect it with our reality. So Allah says, (Arabic) Their protection is assured for them through the winter and the summer. That is they travel both through winter and summer with a sense of security.

What does the winter represent? The winter represents your spiritual side of your life. Thats your winter, and the summer represents the social side of your life. Both of these can go to the extreme. The spiritual urge in you, or the spiritual curiosity in you can take you in to asceticism. Thats the ice house, or the ice factory. Thats where you freeze up. And on the other side you have the social nature, the social sensitivity and if you carry that in to the extreme it will take you in to anarchy. Social anarchy. Savagery, lust, narcotics, drinking, rowdy life, whore hoping and all the rest.

So you are a creature with fire and water, and if you dont trust and respect G-d your fire will burn you up, or you water will freeze you up. Yes, what will give us security, what will give us safe passage down the path of life? Okay, this chapter gives it to us. (Arabic), Therefore worship the Lord not the house. Those who want to criticize Muslims for turning toward the east to pray, they say, Oh Muslims say they dont worship an idol, but they turn toward that black stone. You turn toward Jesus Christ, but I dont hear the preacher telling you not to worship Jesus Christ, worship the Lord that created him. We turn toward the Kabbah. And Allah says in this chapter, worship not the house, but worship the Lord that created it.

And they laugh at us and dont know that our religion is wisdom to awaken their minds and take them out of the mistake that they are in. To save them from the mistake that theyve made. They turn toward Jesus body, the temple of Jesus to worship the temple of Jesus, and our (unclear) they dont worship the temple, worship the Lord that made the temple. (Arabic) therefore you should worship the Lord that made this house. (Arabic) He who gives them protection against hunger, and protection against fear.

As Salaam Alaikum
