Imam Warith Deen Mohammed

We witness that Allah swt is One alone and we witness that Muhammad pbuh is His servant and His Messenger. As Salaam Alaikum what do you want a khutbah or some business information? I'm flying over water and land and G- is my co-pilot and I thank Allah swt. We are Muslims and when we gather here for CPC Comtrust or The Mosque Cares we gather as Muslims, but if we go back to the earliest days of our acquaintance with that word Muslim we have always been interested in our people. And it hurts me to know that some of us have forgotten our people and our condition, now according to experts, the condition of the African American people on the whole is worst than it ever been since the Emancipation Proclamation.

We are wasting our lives we're separated from each other family members are separated from each other, everybody is going out with their own small interest in their own small world and the people as a whole are just as spiritually depressed now, in fact more depress now than we were when we were freed from slavery, the majority of us.

Most Of The Islamic World Do Not Know Prophet Muhammad

Muhammad the Prophet pbuh he is our leader but most of us do not know him, most of the Islamic world do not know Prophet Muhammad pbuh, they just know a name and they know that he is a Prophet they is all. They know very little about him as a person they don't even study the Quran to know him they just take for granted they know him he's the Prophet, he is the Messenger of G-d, he's our Prophet pbuh and they think that is enough.

Maybe that is enough for a person who just wants to live like a cow, a rabbit or a bird who comes in the world, survives as long as it can hunt food, sex, play and die if that is all they want then their knowledge of Muhammad pbuh is enough. 'But the Hon. Elijah Muhammad made us aware of concerns outside of our own selves, outside of our own homes, outside of our own, he told us to take in the concerns of our people's sufferings and to work for the betterment of our people. To work to bring our people back to G-d in fact, more importantly because many of them were already believing in G-d, more importantly to bring us back to be responsible for our own life and future on this planet earth.

Q- 33.6; Family has right over the believers

The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allah than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah)."

Do you think Al-Islam is not that? Al-Islam is that, it wants us to be responsible for our lives beginning with our family. G-d says, "Close relatives, family has priority in the Book of G-d," that is what Allah swt says in the Quran, the Family has first priority in the Book of G-d, And what does G-d say in the Bible say? Charity starts at home and spreads abroad, is first.

When Allah swt revealed the Quran to Muhammad pbuh he was not called to come from some interest that he had to G-d's way or to G-d's path, he was already seeking G-d. He was seeking help from a bigger power than himself he did not even know G-d by name he was not from such people like Christians and Jews. He was not from a religious group in the proper sense of the world, he was from people who worshiped many idols that represented creatures and forces of nature, the natural world. And he was carrying on his heart the burden, the condition of the world at that time beginning with his own people.

He was carrying the burden of the Arabs in his heart he did not feel that he could go on the way he was living being above their debased nature, their subhuman standards and carrying the burden on his heart thinking, "How can my own people be changed, how can the Arabs be changed from worshiping these idol and living like a community of subhuman (creatures, that was a burden on his heart. He went away from his own society, away from the people up into a mountain now called Jabl An Nur the mountain of the light or the mountain of enlightenment because it was upon that mountain that he received an answer, a response from G-d.

He was pleading, crying out to the vast, unlimited space for help from whatever could help him that was superior 4o the existence that he understood. And he received a response and I won't go over the details of that because that is not the point. My point is that he was not called from something that he was doing that occupied his time and his interest, he was looking for G-d to help him with the burden of the world but at that time he was just seeing the burden of his country men, the burden of the Arab world on that peninsula called Saudi Arabia now.

Muhammad Unlettered Means Uneducated Scripture

Q. 62.2; An unlettered Prophet

"It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered an apostle from among themselves to rehearse to them His Signs to sanctify them and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom although they had been before in manifest error."

He had some acquaintance with some other states, as a business man he had gone to Syria serving his wife's business Lady Khadijah may G-d be pleased with her and he was aware of neighboring or bordering countries and I'm sure he had some knowledge of the world at that time because when a man engages in trade, travels out of his country to another country like Syria I'm sure he had opportunity to speak with men who had traveled from other parts of the world too. So I don't think he was ignorant as they say, "Muhammad was unlettered, he could not write," that is not quite true. He was uneducated in scripture, he wasn't familiar with that, he wasn't taught, he wasn't from a society that believed in revealed scripture of practiced religion of that kind.

He was unlettered, uneducated there, but any man who could go to Syria doing business successful at doing business for his wife, he couldn't have been that ignorant that he didn't even know neighboring states or neighboring countries or no idea of the existing world of his day, I'm sure he did. And I'm sure he could write his name and more than his name, he could write a business contract as a business man, but he could not read and write scripture or make subjects or commentary on scripture, he had no knowledge of mat at all.

Q. 98.3; The Quran uprights previous books

"Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight."

And his inability to read is just like the Quran itself it is not a Book that comes from nowhere or comes speaking to nothing that existed before, Allah swt the G-d Who revealed it says it is a Book correcting previous Books that were revealed to the people. So actually what we have as the Quran is what was revealed to Moses even before Moses what was revealed to Abraham and what was revealed to Jesus Christ who came after them peace be upon all the Prophets, the servants of G-d. This is nothing but plain language, truth from the Quran and if we don't perceive it this way you can't really progress in Al Islam you can only follow like birds, rabbits, donkeys, horses, cows, you can never be a man, a woman in this religion if that is all the understanding you have.

Allah swt responded to Muhammad pbuh, the Most High G-d and Supreme over all things He responded to this man who carried the burden of the suffering world on his heart and G-d gave him guidance and he began preaching. Did he say, "Well let me leave Saudi Arabia and let me go to Syria where I was doing business and trade and let me begin my mission there." He began his mission where he lived, he began his mission in his own home town like others who were awakened for the job before him, I'm speaking of Prophets and Messengers of G-d. He began right in his home town in the city he was born in sacred Mecca, though he was rejected by his own people he began there.

He began to address the most serious problem of his people, what was their most serious problem according to the (guidance of G-d to him? Their most serious problem was their perception of reality, how they saw the real world.

Arabs Biggest Problem Shirk

How they looked at it and how they related to it. They related to it as servants of the material world worshiping facets of the material world, little images that they called their gods. So the first thing he addressed was their most serious need and their most serious problem which was their incorrect view and perception of the external world including themselves in it because man is noting but another part of the material world, we are a part of this material world, all of us.

Prophet Chosen To Be Medium To Receive Quran

He addressed their most serious problem which was the worship of things that were not G-d. And in the Quran Allah swt revealed to him and to us because everything revealed to him was for all mankind, not just for him. You have to have a medium, you have to have an instrument to serve others, he was chosen to be that medium to bring it to us and he was chosen to be the instrument to work for us.

Q. 31.13; Shirk worst form of oppression

Behold Luqman said to his son by way of instruction: "O my son! Join not in worship (others) with Allah: for false worship is indeed the highest wrong-doing."

G-d said, "Surely false worship of idols and other things other than G-d is the worse form of oppression." We could change the language a little bit, paraphrase or change it a little bit and it will still say the same thing, "False worship is the worst form of slavery," where you human soul, your human nature, your human spirit is all coming under a false thing that you believe to be the highest thing in power, it is the worst form of oppression.

Muhammad the Prophet pbuh was sent first to be a liberator and G-d says when they saw him, that is the leaders who were assuming the positions of authority and power in the life of the people, when they saw Muhammad the Prophet pbuh and understood where he was coming from they were terribly alarmed. They said, "This man wants to change our way of life, he wants to change the way we life. He want to change our gods, he want to take us from the way of our forefathers." That is what they charged him with.

They situated and positioned themselves to defeat him, to make sure he would not succeed, he would not progress or be successful and you know they put a lot of misery in his life and in the life of those who were with him as friends, companions, relatives, his wife and supporters. And his wife died in that trying time that was so hurtful in their life on them, she couldn't bear it through the winter, she died lady Khadijah may G-d give her paradise and may G-d be pleased with her Ameen.

Q. 21.30; All life is from water

"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of Creation) before We clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"

Water, the Quran says "And G-d began every living thing from water." Muhammad the Prophet pbuh began his work in Mecca the city that he was born in and his own people rejected and mistreated him, tried to kill his work before it got started, but did he give up on his own people? No, he didn't say "Let me go to another country, let me go to Syria and see how it works in Syria." Charity starts at home and spreads abroad, near relatives have first rights in the Book of G-d, he stayed right there and sacrificed, took abuse to do his work. It was his own society's miseries, ignorance and subhuman life that drove him up in the mountain to call to the skies for help.

Imam WD Mohammed Asked To Teach In Africa

How did you get here where we are today in this place with me? How did I get here? It was the misery of our people that drove us to listen to the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, to join him to see how we can help our people and turn the thing around, isn't that right? I was invited to go to Africa to preach many years ago now, a very rich man, well known by the top leaders in the government of Saudi Arabia and other governments in the surrounding areas of Saudi Arabia he said, "You will be given a house, your children, everything you need, a car whatever you need. The people of Africa are more ready for you than your people in America." Something wouldn't let me say yes.

And knowing myself I'm a man when I see a good opportunity I said, "Ok I will tell you what I will do I can give some of my time to Africa and some of my time to the U.S.," If I was left on my own I would have bargained with him, but the power of G*d through my nature was too strong I couldn't even listen to him I had no interest at all in his invitation. He was greatly disappointed because I showed not interest, I had no interest, I still do not have any interest. It is not my rational decision I was compelled by my own nature and spirit to not to listen to that and stay where I am. I'm not saying this to tell you, "He chose you over the Africans," no I didn't I chose to work out my peace for my own soul here in America where the trouble started rather than go somewhere else where my soul would still be bothering me because peace is not at home like it should be. I don't have any romantic situation with you, it is a rational situation, it is a sacred obligation, although I do love you but that is not the ruling power in my life, not a sentimental love, it is a higher love than that.

Imam WD Mohammed Never Accepted Mr. Fard As G-D

Poor followers sacrificed to build the Nation of Islam

My point I'm driving at and I'm sure you see it, when I disagreed with - -1 never in my spirit accepted that Mr. W. D. Fard was G-d, Almighty thank Allah swt something protected me from ever accepting that, I never was comfortable with that, to pray to him and see his image before me as far back as I remember. And I know how old I was because I know when we left that location, we lived at 6116 Michigan in a frame house, the first house that my mother and father ever owned. It was bought for them by the poor members or followers of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad while my father was still in prison.

I heard the preachers preaching as a little boy but I can remember that, the important things that make an impression on you, you remember. I remember them saying, "We don't want our leader to come home and be in a situation like he was poor staying in an apartment. We have to buy him a house." That was my father, you know it was touching me and those poor people I doubt if they numbered 100 in Chicago but I'm sure they got the message to reach Detroit, Milwaukee and a few other places, there were only about three or four Temples at that time, maybe a total of five, possibly six but no more than that.

And the numbers over four became numbers while my father was in prison. A brother who was converted in prison came out and went back to his home in Ohio and he started a Temple there and there were other, but they did not have any more than about four or five and at the most six Temples. And the Chicago following like I said was less than a hundred. Most weekly meetings were maybe forty members, most of the members were locked up in jail because they wouldn't go to the war they wouldn't even carry a draft card.

So those too old for the service were required to get a draft card back then for world war II, if they didn't they were selective service violators and they went to jail just like young men who would have been used. They would not have been used, if they would have gotten a draft card they would have no more to do unless trouble came to America, to our own land I'm sure then that everybody would be fighting to save the country or save their own lives. They knew they would not have to go to war, but they were upholding a position that the Hon Elijah Muhammad took and they went to jail.

Early Temple Meetings Used Kerosene Lamps

So most of the men were gone to jail, not just the young ones, young, middle aged, old all went to jail so the local attendance was drastically reduced, just a few people, children, myself, a few adults. I came to meeting my mother would have me come to meetings and I saw the small membership. We had our meeting in a house on near 31st or 32nd and Wenthworth, a house that looked like a garage, looked like a barn and the lighting was so bad in there they were using kerosene lamps, this was in Chicago, I mean in the city. We had a pot belly stove to warm the apartment in the winter and I remember the smell of that stove, the sister would cook acorn squash pies and serve after the meetings were over, hospitality, real love, sacrifice, poor people had nothing but still made the sacrifice following and believing in my father, may he be given paradise and forgiven all his sins and errors Ameen. They were following my father making sacrifice.

If you had come up like me knowing these things how you father was in jail and poor people kept your mother, your sisters and brothers in a house warm and sometimes their house may have been cold, but they kept their leader's house warm.

Sometimes their ice box they did not have a refrigerator, that was before the time of refrigerators, their ice box was bear but they saw that we had something in our ice box, milk, beans in our house to eat, rice staple food and once a week chicken. The secretary would bring chicken to my mother if she didn't get the money to go out and shop herself, I seen it myself with my own eyes as a little boy under 8 years old. They loved us so much they would say, "Son I came by just to give you some candy, where is your brother." That was a luxury, candy, "I brought you some delicious apples, is it ok for me to give it to him." Mother would say, "Yes brother."

Do you think I can forget all of that? And now that I have a home, two nice vehicles, more clothes than I need, people give me clothes, I have more clothes than I need so I give clothes away, I give people new, good clothes sometimes. Now that I'm in a situation like this do you think I can forget all of this for some ritual? Saying, "Subhana Allah just for language, show, for rituals that is going nowhere except for your sins, you think I can give up all that impression that was on me and the debt that I feel in my heart and soul to people who are well meaning and sacrifice for others in hopes that the leader who they respect, love and follow will be successful in bringing that desired change they prayed and hoped for in the life of the poor people.

Any person like myself who would forget that commitment and not feel something from his father and his labor and regret to_____see what he made his promise to even if they are gone, dead, deserves hell fire, deserves to be put in the lowest bottom of the hell, the lowest pit in the hell. It can't be in the nature of a sincere person or a sincere child, there is no place in the nature of a sincere child to turn its back on that commitment. We haven't finished our work, we didn't come to save physical bodies, physical bodies were already freed from slavery, our commitment was to put the mind of the people in a better state so that they would have a more peaceful and pleasant life and a greater, pleasant and brighter future this is what our commitment was. So because you now spend more money than you ever did before and you have TV and more material things in your life than you ever had before, some of the Imams with their short sight and wrongly focused vision were thinking we don't have any obligation to be interested in you, all we should be doing is reading the Quran to you, giving a khutbah to you and never mentioning you by name, your race, your concerns, your miseries, your condition as a people.

Brother Imam just stick to the Quran and the sunnah, you damn fool you don't know the Quran and the sunnah, you hear me? I call him a damn fool he is worst than that, he's more pitiful than a damn fool, he doesn't know the Quran and the sunnah, dumb empty-headed person in a field that he doesn't belong in. He doesn't have the hunger in his soul for the food that G-d sends down to us from heaven, he's in the wrong work so how can he register what's important for us in this religion?

I'm following Muhammad the Prophet pbuh that is who I follow, he didn't leave his people who were a burden on his heart, he stayed right with them and established his mission among them. And he didn't tell them to do dhikr and make salat and that is enough. Some friends of a pious man brought the pious man to Muhammad the Prophet pbuh and said, "We thought you should know of this pious man, he makes all of his prayers, fast all of the days of Ramadan. He completes all of his duties." Muhammad the Prophet pbuh said, "Who takes care of him, who gives him his daily needs?" They said "We do," he said, "Then you're better than he is."

Q. 103.2; Successful ones have faith and good deeds

"Except such as have Faith and do righteous deeds and Coin together) in the mutual teaching of Truth and of Patience and Constancy."

James 2.26; Faith without works is dead

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

Luke 10.30-36; The good Samaritan

So don't tell us the Prophet pbuh was limited to just reading Quran and having others read Quran and do dhikr, fast Ramadan and give As Salaam Alaikum, just words, ritualistic greetings and no more, no different than those who came before him. Faith without good works is a dead letter, that is in the Bible. Prophet Jesus in the Bible the story of the good Samaritan, how is Jesus presented in the Bible? Here is a man who is not out to give the people the holy ghost, that is not his mission to send people up to heaven to send them up in the sky, happy in faith up there and no life that they can show
down here, that wasn't his mission.

Samaritan shows who is responding to work for G-d

The good Samaritan Jesus pointed to the good Samaritan to show the people who is really responding to G-d's call to work for Him and who is not. So he said others, even the religious leaders had seen this suffering man in the street but they passed by him, some so ashamed by their dereliction of duty that they walked on the other side of the street so their mind wouldn't bother them as much, to avoid looking at him up close, but they did nothing. And others passed right by him as though he did not even exist and left him suffering in the way. But along came a certain person who was sympathetic and sensitive
to the suffering of mankind called the good Samaritan he came and saw him in his state and he gave him help, that is Al Islam.

Muhammad the Prophet pbuh is the Prophet of Al Islam, praise be to Allah swt.

Youth Destroyed By Culture Of Death

We have our youngsters lost in this destructive, poisonous cultural atmosphere they are lost in it, they are losing their lives to the effect of it physically, mentally, emotionally, socially they're dying losing their life to these poisons and decadence in this air we call the popular culture of the streets or America's public, this means nothing to us, we don't register that?

Look at the effect of it on our senior citizens, look at the hurt they carry in their heart every time they look at your son, he doesn't have to be their son or your grandson, he doesn't have to be their grandson and see them lost like that going to destruction and can't turn them around. Mama can't reach them, brother, sister who is saved can't reach the brother or sister who is not saved or gone, we register that on our heart; are we not going to do anything about it?

Slavery End Is Just The Beginning Of Our Work

Are just to say, "We have a job to help our people get free from slavery, we have to help them get equal opportunity, equal rights Help them recover from slavery under the white supremacist world. Once they come from slavery our job is finished." Your job begins after they are recovered from slavery, then your job truly begins.

Before you were just working with hope but not that the law has changed and you're free to work without fearing that the master may kill for just trying to change things, now that is over your work has just begun now you should work to establish your people's life again. We have to be a people again, we are no people, we have no sense of purpose as a people, we have no devotional life as a people, I'm not talking about individuals. I'm a welder I can go and weld right now, you can be 90 years old and weld they don't have no time in your life to retire if you can weld, then weld. I can go and work as a combination welder and survive, I can take care of my family.

That is not the kind of life we're talking about, this personal individual life where you're doing one thing and I'm doing another just to get a paycheck and survive, just to have the things all animals have, food, material comforts, sex and died, no. We're spiritual beings and when the spiritual life connects with your Creator you become truly alive, now you're really alive to enjoy your true life with is man's life, woman's life, humanity's life or the life of a true human being you are free to enjoy that. So this life consciousness that we're talking about is high above those who have no interest in their purpose on this planet earth, who have no interest in obeying a power Who made all this possible.

Our life is much higher than theirs, our happiness is much more rewarding and much more complete than theirs, our happiness compared to theirs is like heaven and they are in hell whether they know it or not. So if we're truly Muslims and truly in this life, this is the life of the awake not the sleeping. The life of the living not the dead, this is the life of those who seek paradise, not those who have no focus for the souls of man. Wake up to the reality that you claim to be on, you say you are Muslim wake up to that reality, I'm pleading to you because we need you we don't want to lose you we love you. We don't need you to be successful, we need you because we love you we will be successful without you. G-d guarantees us success.

So please stop thinking that the religion that we have now is not interested in black people and has no special work to do for black people. This is a religion like the good Samaritan and the human worth of African American people is suffering in the road and the religious leaders pass us by.

Blacks Individual Wealth Doesn't 'T Help The Depressed Spirit Of The Whole People

And we need a good Samaritan to continue to discover in the way and rescue us and we all should be our brothers keeper, we all should want to rescue the suffering soul, the suffering spirit, depressed spirit of the African American people. No matter how well we do in this material world, this political world, in this tangible world like Oprah and many others their success cannot take hurt and misery out of our soul, out of our spirit because when we look at the whole of the people as a people we're worst now than we were when we were freed from slavery, yes we are, we have destroyed ourselves, we're not carrying about ourselves.

Q. 2.214; Righteous tested and asked when will it end

"Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of Bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They encountered suffering and adversity and were so shaken in spirit that even the Apostle and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! verily the help of Allah is (always) near!"

We have given up on ourselves some of us are so afraid to trust another leader saying, "Oh we been disappointed so many times, I'm not going to do it." Well you cut your own self out of a great future. Allah swt says others have paid a great price and suffered and lost lives and they suffered so long that some of the best souls cried out, "Lord when will this stop?"

Matthew 19:30; First shall be last, and the last first

"But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first."

Even start to doubt that G-d would continue to be with them and help them but something in them wouldn't let them stop living the way they were living, the continued to stay with the light that G-d wanted for them and G-d finally answered them, He turned their state around, changed their misery, a wonderful story and made them first of the people in the area.

So He rewarded them for their patience, for their perseverance, for their endurance, for their loyalty for G-d and faith and they became first in the world. There is a saying, 'The bottom rail shall come to the top," this is scripture before and it is also the Quran.

Q. 22.52; All Prophets Satan tried to tempt

"Never did We send an apostle or a prophet before thee but when he framed a desire Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom:"

We're living in the last days of time of the plan and Allah swt says "Never did He desire something for His servants that the devil, Satan didn't try to come up with something like it to get the people to him away from G-d. So we're living in the last days of the plan, Satan is very, very joyful, he's anticipating his victory presently where the religious leaders will give up and worship him. You might say, "That big one with the pitch fork and the horns?" Yes he has a pitch fork and horns but if you take his picture he looks as good and handsome as any other person you may take a picture of who is in good shape, you will not see any horns and no pitch fork, they are invisible. The horns are invisible and the pitch fork is invisible all you see is a handsome man.

He is rejoicing he thinks he has the world demented, situated where they have to soon acknowledge him as their lord and savior. And trouble has multiplied and grown so much in the world, there is misery everywhere, we think of the soldiers in Iraq, but don't forget the soldiers on your street dying trying to stand up for decent life, your young men who won't give into the gangs, who won't sell drugs, they are being killed for nothing, only because they won't give in and join the ranks of the criminal. And your daughters too they are dying, even innocent little children are being caught in the crossfire, every now and then we hear of a little child has loss its life.

Iraq Was A Chosen War The Loss Of Our Men In The U.S. Is Worse

So you have to think of the misery that is all around you and not just what you're hearing in the news about Iraq. They chose to have that fight, they chose to have that but these beautiful young men sometimes so bright in mind who are being killed on the street by foolishness are a greater loss than the loss of our soldiers in Iraq believe me. And they did not choose to be killed in battle and they were not even in battle, they were unarmed victims, not even belonging to the warmongers, we have to do something about this.

It Is Our Religious Duty To Support Business

Business Purpose Free Our Soul And Free Our Spirit

If we support business as a religious duty, it is your religious duty to support business if it is not illegal, if it is haram especially when it has as its purpose not to make us rich so we can have more vehicles or more expensive living quarters, more comfortable material life, its purpose is to free our soul and free our spirit that is down and low because we can't change the condition of the whole of our people. This world is very deceiving not intentionally but because of the limit of our knowledge.

We hear Oprah the billionaire, a powerful woman, more successful than any other talk show host of any color, she has gone so far ahead of all of them, none in the history of the media has been as successful as Oprah. I don't care what color they are, she has plenty of money and she is very generous, very charitable, she won't send me a dime and that is ok. Fm just as happy every time I see her giving to some other needy person I'm happy, she doesn't have to send me a dime for me to love her and be happy.

Datfaon Pharaoh Gave You Special Benefits

We see that as success we say, her success has no power at all to relieve the burden on the African American people's soul and spirit because that is one person succeeding, that is like Dathon among the Hebrews. The Egyptians loved Dathon because he showed that if you just will accept and love Pharaoh he will give you special benefits.

So Dathon rode around in carriages with those hub caps, even his carriage was perfumed, when it got about in 20 feet of you it smelled like a rose garden. But what did it do for the spirit of the Hebrews who were down and low? Nothing, it gave them false hope that is all but it did not make their life any less miserable inside, internally.

Freedom Starts With The Human Soul

Q. 4.1; Man created from one soul

"O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord Who created you from a single soul created of like nature his mate and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women; reverence Allah through Whom ye demand your mutual (rights) and (reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for Allah ever watches over you."

Q. 30.20; Man created from the dust

"Among His Signs is this that He created you from dust; and then Behold ye are men scattered (far and wide)!"

Genesis 2.7; Man created from the dust

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Marriage Has Individual Souls And The Common Soul

The religious liberation is all about spiritual liberation, the liberation of the human soul. It starts with a predicament for the human soul. Scripture says G-d created man from the dust of the earth and He created him from one soul male and female. If you can understand that and accept that man and his wife shares one soul, you know they have two souls. I have my own soul, my wife has her soul - - we have one soul, we share one soul but I have my own individual soul, she has her own individual soul but this attraction in the life of male and female for one another when it starts there develops again a soul, there develops a spiritual entity that not mind anymore than it is hers or not hers anymore than it is mine. There is a spiritual thing created when we start to be drawn to one another, to mate to have new life from our life.

People Sharing Experiences Become One Collective Soul, One Spirit

Q. 4.1; Man created from one soul

"From them two (He made) many men and women."

Q. 30.20; Man created from the dust

Genesis 2.7; Man created from the dust

Our experience as a people with each other, the things you experience together creates a soul for all of us, listen please I'm telling you fact not just science. Your experience is a people together creates for you a single soul and that is the soul of your people who shared the same life and same experiences, the same suffering, the same shame, the same happiness, the same victory, those extremes of misery and joy, registering it together and bearing it bonds you together if you're conscious and you become one spirit to continue to succeed against all odds. One spirit to stay alive for each other despite of temptations to divide you. That is what G-d wants us to see when He says He made man from the dust and then he made the two from one soul and from them He made children, many men and women in Arabic it is "Rejaalan wan nesaa".

So get away from the old idea. We did not need G-d to come and tell us that He created the world and all of those things up there it does not make any difference who created it as long as it yields its fruits to me I am happy. That is not big deal telling me who did it, I been enjoying it without you telling me, but if He is talking about something higher than that, something more valuable than that, the soul is more valuable than anything, now I can see the beauty and the wisdom and I can appreciate this revelation. What revelation is it to tell me something put the star, sun, moon out there, something put the water there, the rain comes down and makes the earth to bear fruits? I see that all of the time and man lives with that and uses it all of the time, I'm not going to stop.

Revelation Gives A Higher, Enriching Perception And Understanding

I'm still going to be eating just like I did before, I will still go out there slaughter and kill the chicken, eat a cow and live like I did before. I go to the river and get the same fish. But now I told you Who did this and made this possible, what is the point? It makes no sense to me if the only thing revelation tells us is what we see all the time and know, then it makes no sense to me to make a big deal about it. But if revelation is giving me a higher and more enriching perception and understanding of this, now I'm ready to salute my leader and walk behind him. But if all he does is come and tell me G-d did this don't waste your time buddy, that is common sense.

So I conclude with this I have had to have a lot of patience my faith is_____I've had to have patience that I would finally get you in position to do the job at home and stay Muslim and benefit from the life giving Book, the Quran and the life model for human beings Muhammad pbuh, the life model in community life, he is a community leader and not lose it, but get you back to the work at home. We cannot be conscious Muslims and show ourselves as intelligent Muslims leaving it to Indians, Pakistani, Palestinians, Egyptians and whoever to give us halal meant, miswak, wooden sticks to brush our teeth with. I know we have some brothers here who have enough ability to make us some wooden sticks, so if we're going to have it and if it is that important to us we should at least make them ourselves and sell them ourselves and get all of the revenue into this community here, keep it at home.

That is what I was having on my heart to tell you G-d knows I will be here trying to continue the interest that my father and African Americans before him had in our people to do a work that makes the life of the whole better. That takes misery and disappointment off of the whole people, not just a few, so we are working for African American people not just for ourselves. We know if we establish a Muslim model of success it is going to effect their lives for the better, it is going to give them more hope.

They don't you know a lot of them tell me, I'm talking about Christian leaders, some of them still call me Minister I guess because of Minister Farrakhan they say, "Minister we're still waiting on you," that is what I'm told by them.

So the Hon. Elijah Muhammad he made a big_____he pointed our people to a brighter future, to a bigger future, to greater dignity where you're not just asking the white man for something you're committing yourself to deliver yourself to your own people, deliver what you promise to your own people. Not asking help from other folks waiting on them to do everything for you, you have taken it upon yourself to serve their life present and future and deliver what they hope for to them in time. G-d knows I'll never give that up, I'll keep that until I'm dead and gone from this world and I hope I'll leave it behind in my genes that from my daughters and sons I'll spring up again, I'll burst forth again and continue this work just as W Deen Mohammed came from the genes of Elijah and Clara Muhammad and he's continuing the good work and will do it until I'm gone and dead, nothing will turn me around Allahu Akbar.

Only my G-d can turn me around and my G-d has made me this way so it would be foolish for me to think that my G-d will turn me around, thank you very much.

Allah swt doesn't want to burden any soul with any burden more than it can bear. So don't burden yourself beyond your capacity, beyond your ability, but don't excuse yourself from having some share in this great work of delivering the promise for African American people thank you peace As Salaam Alaikum.
